A girl I used to work with just went on round one of interviews, and my roommate's cousin did as well. Both are from New Jersey.

NYC Casting call was "private" but became public quick..long lines, hot/sweaty waiting room, and huge group interviews. The honesty was real, heard stories from infedilty to depression plus saw a great amount of trans people too! I saw a few insta-famous people filling out applications as well.  The turn out mustve been unexpected as they didnt have time for any "Blue Screen" interviews yesterday. It was an experience and alot of people talked of how nervous they were..funny seeing as they were auditioning for reality TV. Environment was very uptight and kind of competitive..like New York in general.

I was there too haha. There was an emphasis on sexuality and if anyone was gay/bi. For example someone would be talking about their girlfriend and the producer would just randomly blurt out "so guys too or only girls?". Every single person was questioned about their sexuality in some way.

Did they seem interested in the straight people or were they more focused on the gay people?

I wonder if they'd cast people from Canada.. lmaooo.

Do all 3. Make the casting directors think it's a high demand for you on all 3. It'll make each one want you a little more

He's extra enough. It should work.

One of my people told me they went to an open casting and said they seemed interested in her but when they asked her about her sexuality and she said straight they became uninterested. Lemme go and change my application real quick.. Wink

i wish lol

Theyve cast people from other countries before. Granted, that was way back in the day. I'd say as long as you can obtain a work visa it's possible

Eh not really I guess. To me it seemed like everyone got the same type of questioning and time but she just made sure to find out if the person was straight or not. Some girls were questioned on how bi curious there are because they mentioned they've drunkenly kissed a girl before even though they were clearly saying they were straight. It's like she wanted people to say they may be ********.

Went past Charley's today in Ann Arbor... almost considered getting in the line and doing the process for fun but it was too long and I had somewhere to be.

And if they want people from Canada, my guess is a number of them might get considered here.  Only an hour from the border, plus most of the people in line looked like out of towners/not students

Well Zak from AYTO3? was from Canada & he was casted but different production but I think it's possible.

I wonder if they'd cast people from Canada.. lmaooo.

Evan much?

and all gay rw is gonna flop. and uninterested in her because of her sexuality? yet that's BMP alright.

evan had been living in the states + going to school for the previous 4 years before being casted on FM.. so I think he gained dual citizenship or something

Oh ok. thanks for the heads up Mitch. And yeah they need to start casting all over Hardbitten.

It doesnt matter which production company...Aslong as they have a US green card they can try out and get cast. AYTO and Real world are the same qhen it comes to that

I really am though. It's sad actually.

"Is the guy you referred to as 'the bootleg Tim Tebow' in your video gay or ********?"

Yup, that's Ontario (Windsor is the city, specifically).

Also, does anyone else think Toronto would be a great location?  But I doubt they'd ever do it, especially considering the age requirement was 21 and not 19 this season.

Toronto would be an amazing city for The Real World... no clue why they haven't done it yet.

They still haven't visited some of the other big cities in the US like Atlanta, Houston, Memphis, Phoenix, St. Louis, Charleston, etc.

Are the home tapes always this bad? I googled 'Real World 32 home tape' and everything I found was lame. Do the interesting people's videos get hidden or am I missing something?

I wouldn't say they are all boring. I watched a couple and they have good backstories.

I just watched this girl's video.. I seriously doubt she's going to get on, but she looked like someone y'all would hate if she did looool.

Omg! The girl I liked last year applied again!!!!
