Violetta stated that the skeleton cast actually eat subway a lot throughout filming that they literally used to steal the napkins from subway and used as toilet paper. When they spend their money.

The skeleton cast was the one that they showed struggling the most money wise right? Or they have been another cast that they showed struggling as much?

I remember Jenny got behind on all of her payments at one point, which was why she had to get a job dancing. That shit is honestly ridiculous, especially with the time frame that they give these people before they start filming.

I think Skeletons was the one who showed it the most because they weren't forced to get jobs like the older seasons without twists so I think they realized how bad the money was and decided the only way to survive was get jobs and steal napkins. LOL!

Stealing napkins? How ghetto... not of the cast members cause they gotta do what they gotta do! But for production that is so ghetto... first of all I feel toilet paper should be provided. Second of all that they get paid that little!

Didn't they use to have alcohol in the house for the roommates at one point?

and skeletons they blew $200 the first night smh. I think production should at least pay up to like $150 when they go out and if it's above that then they have to pay or just pay them more. & all of there jobs are restaurant jobs (recently) so they're not even getting a real paycheck from there. just hoping for tips

I just finished watching OG San Diego and they only got $200 a week from their job as well.

I mean Chicago drinks are expensive. And they had to take a cab anywhere they would go since they weren't right in the city. (At least where they would go out) like in big brother I think you make like 700$ a week and that is the same length roughly as the real world. Your better off going on AYTO at least you will probally split some money on top of what you make. They should provide house essentials though like toilet paper and some food.

I think the stock the house with groceries and toiletries for when the cast first move in but after that they are on their own.

Well Nia quit her job on Portland so the cost of living there must not have been bad or she found another source of money.

it's a shame how cheap bmp is. I'd rather go on ayto, I know it's probably not any better, but at least you get prize money at the end and live in a tropical place for a month.

but at the same time ayto is a joke and I'd rather not fake date a bunch of people. you just have to have your money right when you go on real world

Survivor pay is lit. $2,500 minimum if you're the first voted out. That's for 3 days... Plus everyone gets $10,000 for going to the reunion.

I sent in a tape to survior even though I'm 17.  but I turn 18 in May so do you think they'll look at it?

They will, but it will be for seasons 35 and 36. Season 33 films in the next few weeks, and 34 is all returnees.

Maybe we'll be on the same season. Wink

the ****!!?

With all this talk concerning the lack of money it's no ******* wonder why Joi quit *****.

(and yes i know the MAIN reason why she left the RW but I'm poking some fun at the moment).

on big brother, the production covers all of their fees back at home (rent, electrical, etc)... i assumed thats what the real world did and they just had to get jobs so they'd have money to go out and party/eat

By what I heard they dont really do that for real world or ayto

I wouldn't put AYTO and RW in the same category of money deficiences so far. All of the food and toiletries at AYTO is paid for and so far each and every cast  member has come away with at least 35 k not including the Appearence checks. Also AYTO is only for about 5 weeks according to Pink Rose so at this point i think everyone would rather be a part of Are You the One than the Real World lol.

thr train yeah don't know how fat from it they were put I think they would always say oh cab is here and what not. How much did skeletons get paid? Same?

Semifinals for Philippines/Caramoan and Cagayan. Finals for San Juan del Sur.

It's pretty similar to Real World in casting structure, but I found it to be more fun. The casting directors are easier to talk to.

****. They seem to move fast with Survivor.

And LOL @ production being cheap for this show. It's a wonder they find castmembers that they do.

For SJDS did you apply with a loved one or did they add someone on with you during casting?

Seeing you all go into detail about the not so known stuff is interesting to say the least. That's crazy about the cast being so broke!

Ive tried to find numbers but can't. Like how many make it to Skype, how many to home tape, finals, Etc.

Also is it possible they'd move a online applicant forward before they finish with casting calls at all?

also, what are some of the best home tapes? I must not have been one of the chosen ones this time but I'm curious now.
