I remember watching a few episodes of Road Rules Islands on ABC and thinking it was boring af and the episodes were mostly all centered around this dude named Oscar lol
Oscar was fun & messy. Considering the other two dudes were Vince & Jake, who did you want the show centering on? Wallpaper paste Erika?
boo the whole cast seemed boring and dull, I only watched 3 episodes in like 2005 so I don't really have an opinion **** but doesn't help that Islands was always one of the least represented seasons on the challenge too
RW Homecoming and the All Stars could have made them more money too if they didn't ban them to Paramount +
I sitll don't get why it didn't air at least on MTV too....I think even ridiculousness could use a break from itself.
Maybe all stars but I feel like if you are not a hardcore fan that has nostalgia for this franchise then the chances of checking this out is very low. Plus, you can't compared MTV with CBS a channel that everyone with TV has.
You would be stupid to think that this or All Stars will bring them more money than the war of the worlds **** they are doing like 20k people watched these shows
All Stars/Homecoming could've premiered simultaneously on all Paramount owned networks to not only boost those shows but bring more attention to P+ - MTV could've aired a RW:LA marathon leading into the one night only premiere on the channel that heavily advertised where the show will be for the remainder of the season.
+ I always noticed RR had that ABC logo at the bottom when I watched earlier seasons but weird that MTV sold it off to syndication that early in its run.

1000% agree.... it's small minded for people to think that not putting it on mainstream tv with the right advertsiing and lead up shows wouldn't help it. The cross promotion of the shows on it's own network is just common sense. Especially when that network has very limited original content and replay the same show 24/7.

Something about them airing in syndication made them so boring and unwatchable. I loved Islands on MTV maybe because I was attracted to Oscar at the time. It was rare to see a Latino male on tv in 1997. Even Europe seemed so boring in syndication. Like I said they butchered Road Rules in syndication.

wonder what was the reason for them doing that cause theoretically it make no sense lmaoo
Something I noticed the other day which I know is coincidence more than anything but still found it interesting
So they have been doing homecoming seasons in order of the cities they revisited.
New York revisited in season 10 - Back to New York.
LA revisited in season 20 - Hollywood.
New Orleans revisited in Season 24.
So if this show wasnt cancelled and this complete coincidence was to continue then it would be Las Vegas next, then San Deigo, San Francisco, Chicago and then Seattle.
Completely defeats the purpose of a homecoming if the people don't have prior history imo.
save all stars for the challenge all stars
I would rather have a season of mini homecomings: the 3/4/5 people they can get from each cast in a house together for a few days. 2 episodes for each RW cast they can get.

They could easily get Miami, (although Melissa seems to be the hold out, even though I think she can be persuaded with money), Las Vegas (2002) and Austin

Nobody cares about Real World in 2022 except millennials that haven't outgrowth it
Prayers we get Las Vegas at least!

Just a bit of fun.
I wouldn't mind another - I love Trishelle and Irulan and Arissa proved to be entertaining on All Stars 1 so I'm here for it.
Irulan is the only reason for a Vegas Homecoming

When are we getting season 4?
Who’s everyone they could get from each season?
