It looks like they were both right.
But Laurel said she didn't get any response from Katie, not wrong number. Idk, that thing got old.
Btw, I think if Sarah didn't fell in the final, she would not have a different view about Cara Maria. Perhaps her ego would be even more than it was.

Sometimes it takes something like that to knock you down a few pegs.

What I don't get more than anything is how quickly the switch flipped for her. She straight up laughed at Abe about having to be carried. Also, even though the ruins final was probably shorter, they did it on a stomach full of nasty ****, in hotter weather, and bodily wise she didn't look like she was in the same shape as she is now...so where did this anti-long distance thing coming from? I'm not trying to say they should all be able to handle it easily, 12 miles in the hot with obstacles like those is gnarly no matter what, but how quickly she changed from cocky to sobbing weirded me out.

I think sarah thinks she this great competitor so she won't even bother to train for the final. She couldn't run on the 4th challenge and even CM asked Laurel "can sarah run?" and laurel avoided to answer
I'm glad that Sarah ended up giving Luke and Cara Maria the credit they deserved for finishing the final.
To me, I don't think she meant it. It's just something she has to say in a way because she talked so much **** about them two. And she's the one who couldn't make it.
I'm now completely convinced that the production wanted Red team to win. Between the tire rolling and the stretcher carrying portions of the last mission, there was pretty much 0% chance of blue or gray winning due to lack of strength.
And now they don't bring Camilla and Brandon on the show - these two were some of the best competitors and centers of drama, yet they are neglected because that would hurt production's favorite team's image.
Might as well hire some actors at this point.
If Abram didn't pass out on the stretcher thing would have been even and the tire thing would be in the gray teams favor as they had more people. "0% chance of blue or gray winning due to lack of strength." If you don't have a strong team of course you'll be at a disadvantage, I'm not sure how that's unfair.
As much as I don't like Jenn, I give her props to finishing the race. I feel like Jenn and Emily gave up after realizing the other teams were ahead, but good try to both of them. Maybe I'll see Jenn in a different point of view (competitor-wise) from now on, but I still don't like her as a person -_- As much as I love Emily, I hope she doesn't come back for a while, I still want to see her on another challenge, just not for another while.

1. It was unfair to have it strength-based at all because blue had no hope of winning, 0%.
2. You're right, if Abram was there then gray still had a chance, but that's not what happened. MTV didn't have a plan for when a team mate is lost. When 2/11 are afflicted by heat exhaustion, you have to question how it was designed. Maybe the water boys were staying closer to red team in the front? To me they should try to avoid a Big Easy 2, where the loss of a member causes the whole team to insta-lose - that's just lame.
That is the best Mtv could pull from the long-*** reunion show to fill an hr for tv???
Mmmm..wonder if Sarah and Johnny are friends with Laurel?? Johnny putting her in her place was AWESOME
It kind of irks me that Maria told Tyler to butt out the Laurel-Eric situation. Why even bring Eric on the stage to talk about that tired-*** argument if no one else was allowed their input? The castmembers saw what happened, not Maria.
I wasn't able to attend this reunion show, but I did the NOLA one and FM2. Chances are it was the producers telling Maria to say that from the ear piece. They probably wanted the argument to go a certain way and since they can't really jump on the stage and tell Tyler to shut the **** up, she has to do it.
I loved going to the reunion shows because of Maria. She is so entertaining on set and the casts all love her. She also genuinely likes and watches the shows, which I think is great.

two words...MARK LONG. much better host
I hears this reunion was 6 hours long and this was all they got? A drunk Paula and a repetitive fight between Big Easy and Laurel? Paula was hysterical, she reminded me of Kelly Anne on The Island reunion show.
I really enjoyed when Maria told Tyler to butt out. She put him in his place, he seemed to be pining away for air time.
I find Paula to be one of the most pathetic people to have ever been on these shows, and last night was no exception. She's up there with Robin and Tonya as far as people who should NEVER do a challenge again because they've really gone on a downhill spiral.
However, I actually LOLed when she to Tori "Love you... kill you". It's all in the delivery.
What was all that Abram **** about walking off the stage? I think Eric was completely right, Laurel was shocked that her bullying **** got on tv, so she decided to cry about it on mtv.com. Then she calls Katie to get Eric's number(like you could've tried to get that for 4 months, Laurel) and whether or not Katie gave Laurel Eric's number, Laurel could and should have gotten it from someone else of the cast. She's just a very not nice, cocky girl.
And then all of a sudden TYLER takes over the show because he feels everyone should move on. What a BS! First of all, it's a REUNION SHOW to talk about what has happened on the challenge. Second of all, why does Tyler think he has the right to decide what should or shouldn't he be discussed. If he wants to do that, he should become a host.
Johnny was great in the reunion. But Paula... It's so sad that it becomes funny. She tries to get the most air time on ANY reunion show, but she makes such a fool out of herself.
First off I loved the reunion. I think Maria is a great host, and while Mark Long would also be great, I think Maria is better because she takes the point of view of the fans. I feel that if Mark hosted their would be some bias. Second I still hate Laurel, I think the majority of the things that she says are mean and cruel. But what confuses me with this girl is that she is crying at the end of the challenge saying nice things on Derrick's podcast but then can be a complete jerk on the challenge. Makes no sense to me. (probably alcohol) Paula in my mind is at the point were I look at her like Tonya, I am scared for her, and I want her to get help.
I think Maria is an average host. But during the reunion, Paula, Johnny, and Tyler were all fighting. And then I remembered that they were all on the same season of the Real World. So many things have happened since Key West until now with the 3 of them, including The Duel, The Gauntlet 3, and The Island.
These were he worst things ever. I hated the final, I hated the reunion. (And I'm not usually a hater). But the reunion sounded better than it really was. They were beating a dead horse, and personally, I didn't like the host nor the whole Laurel/Eric thing. It was really boring IMO.
BTW Tyler seems like a nice guy.
When it comes to Johnny and Paula...I think Johnny is just fed up with how crazy Paula gets and how she always seems to blame losing on him. I think they're over each other.
Now when it comes to Johnny and Tyler, they seem to have a brotherly relationship. They can have conflict (and a lot of it) but at the end of the day consider each other a friend. At least that's how Tyler describes their relationship.
Tyler and Paula have been close since Key West and it doesn't appear to have changed at all.
My thoughts
Laurel-I love how she's this bad ***** one minute but then turns into a soft puppy the next. I think she's fake. But I do like that she wasn't afraid to tell Abram how she feels and thinks. It seems like people are intimidated by the vets and won't speak their mind to them. But Laurel doesn't have that and I like that In her.
Laurel and Eric-Really at this point this is like beating a dead horse. Laurel apologized and Eric won't take it. It's done and over with. Nothing left to talk about.
John and Tyler both needed to shut the **** up. I agreed with Tyler that we needed to move on but at the same time he was in no position to be deciding what should be talked about or not, he's not the host. And besides THIS IS A REUNION the point of these things is to talk about what happened on the show Laurel/Eric situation happend on the show. And John had no right to tell Laurel how to talk to Abram. It's none of his buissnes how she talks to her teammates. I'm tired of of this Rookie vs Veteran Garbage.
Oh and who the **** is Abram to be walking off the stage talking about others showing a "Poor sense of character" - please this is someone who got kicked off the same show TWICE for fighting. So don't sit here and act like you're above it all. And if you think you are why are you still doing challenges? Leave them behind if you over it all.
Oh and Paula is offically one of the most pathetic people to ever come on these challenges.
****..
The first 5 minutes of the reunion, EPIC. Paula's eyes rolling into the back of her head when Brad is talking and Laurel's selfish ***. Not to mention, Abe talking about how he LOVED losing. WHAT THE ****. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Meh. Abram beat the **** out of Donnell, who is one of the most despicable people to ever (dis)grace my TV IMO, so I can't fault him for that.
I really liked Bananas during his season. It's just the Island and his friendship with Evan and Kenny that gives him a bad rap.
They all get bad raps, I don't see Johnny, Evan, or Kenny any more likeable than one another. I do think that they are much more tolerable individual than all together. I liked Bananas this season as well, just like Evan and Kenny were more tolerable by themselves during D2 and FM2.
The reunion was awful except for Paula who was a laugh a minute. I seriously kept watching her.
I thought it was awesome, except for the Laurel and Big Easy part. That was annoying.

I agree with everything except your take on Abram. Do you know him personally? How do you know he hasn't changed? I'm just curious. That was years ago, Abram seems to have change a lot. If he was the same Abram he would have gotten kicked of I3, The Island, and Cutthroat for fighting but he didn't, he's obviously changed. I don't see him yelling and cussing every chance he gets. Like he said, he actually walked away a lot and kept his mouth shut this season to avoid issues. To me he doesn't look like the same Abram from previous years that we have seen. Oh he stated when I spoke to him the only reason why he did a challenge was for the money and for his book so that should answer your last question.
Horrible reunion show... Half of the people there said one thing and that was it. Yet there was a need to bring back Big Easy? I don't think there was. I would have rather heard from the people who actually made it far on the show than someone who made it half way (if that).
I understand that what Laurel said was mean, but honestly, like someone said it was basically beating a dead horse. Laurel apologized and Eric wouldn't accept it. Why do we need to keep talking about it?
I too kind of find Abe's new "holier than thou" attitude to be a bit ridiculous. Yes, he has aged and matured but he really has no business talking down to these kids that are the new era of the challenge. They're still young and doing nothing different than he did at that age. When he was their age, he was getting kicked off shows for punching people, having threesomes in the hot tub, getting wasted to the point that he was puking in vases, and acting like a juvenile in the process of throwing a challenge for the sole purpose of embarrassing somebody.
