YEEEEESSSSSS. Go home and STAY HOME, Devyn. GOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEE!!!
"Hey, help her pack. Help her pack." Sorry, I just had to.
I swear these final challenges are ridiculous and so much of it is just unnecessary. They need to scale back on these things.
did anybody see the preview where you see johnny, nany and laurel riding a bicycle in place at night? Nany was like "This is bull******" while crying. What are the producers thinking? I'm thinking they can't sleep and have to pedal this bicycle for a certain amount of time. Ridiculous....That's not entertaining at all. I feel bad for them.
I'm thinking maybe thats a stage where they are still in pairs so then they can switch off? I think it might be stage three where it's Johnny/Devyn, Nany/Bananas, and Laurel/Zach.
People saying "cara couldnt even break the wall with her good hand" its not as simple as it may seem. She has to keep herself balanced while giving herself enough leverage to be able to punch through the wall. Her bad hand wasn't just a hindrance in her actually punching the wall with that hand but also because it was casted you can't really get a good grip because you're wearing a cast which means you can't bend your wrist or move your hand in a good position to keep yourself balanced well enough to give yourself the leverage and force you need to punch through the wall. Add the fact that its bulky and makes it harder to grip with the wall with only her fingers. She basically could move some of her fingers and that was it.

If she were that valuable to the franchise then she should've been put on The Real World. And I find it hard to believe that all the Fresh Meat were better casting choices than The people they put on THe Real World. Are you gonna sit here and tell me that Brandon, Luke, Noor, Ryan, Mandi,Diem, Evan, Kenny, Eric, Evelyn,Casey, and Theresa are better casting choices than half the people they cast for The Real World? Please. THAT is a Joke. If anyone were casting mistake it was The Fresh Meat and Camilla.
Cara-Maria actually sent a tape to MTV lol , and got called for the challenges She never applied to TRW.
And the scariest sh** ever happens. Nothing like rolling down the rapids, and then your kayak tips over in the part where the current is ridiculously strong. As someone who doesn't swim (admittedly, I do not know how to swim - and would therefore be a horrible as Devyn on these Challenges), the kayak tipping over is scary as ****. To be honest, I'm beginning to think Zach jumped out and decided to swim for it.
Zach admitted himself that he can't swim. This is going to be hilarious and terrifying at the same time.
As Crazy as It would have been I would have loved a twist of luck with CM being allowed to sit out the elimination for a 15-30 min reduction on the final and forcing Devyn to go in , See I don't mind non athleticbpeople making it to a fi al if they try atleast Like if Jasmine or Naomi made a final they would try , fail miserably more than likely but still try , Devyn is a glamorized Casey with fewer excuses , So I'm hoping she takes a break.
Here are my thoughts on Devyn: I haven't watched the AfterBuzz interview (I'm probably gonna tune in when I hit the gym in the next 20 minutes or so during cardio), but she's not as bad of a competitor as everyone makes her out to be. We've seen worse competitors crumble mentally during Challenges & refuse to compete, but that never crosses Devyn's mind. If she's competing, she's going to go all out on the Challenge despite her best not being near the best of others. She's never given up, she may have whined -- but she's never refused to do anything. Even in the finals on Seasons, she did the best that she could and never gave up, despite costing her team the final. But I don't think her entire team would've made it as far as they did if she didn't give her all in the missions. As much as she plays up her political game, she has every right to because it got her to the end of the game. People like Jasmine, Brandon, Isaac, & Preston come into the game with no strong political ties and just hope to make it to the finish and she was smart enough to not get eliminated so soon and pull a few moves that would extend her time in the game. There's not many people in their second Challenge that could be smart enough to enter a game, survey the field, and make moves for her that works. But with her political game, I'd say 60%-70% of her making it this far came down to luck. Absolute luck. And that's what you can say for most of the competitors in the game. This was a game based on luck, and Devyn was EXTREMELY lucky. There's plenty of what-ifs in this game. What if Frank wasn't sent home What if Cara Maria didn't injure her hand? What if Jemmye wasn't sent home so early, what if Camila didn't get the boot in Episode 6? All of these things could've changed the game, changed the draws, and everything that follows. I'm mad because the best competitors didn't make it to the end on this show, and the format is really to blame for that. But I can't be entirely mad at Devyn, because the uncontrollable (to an extent) factor of luck was on her side, and she played the game the best out of anyone who has ever lacked athletically.
Sneak peek of the final. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MvFHPqE8UPo
TJ says it's the hardest final ever, every season. I refuse to believe that any final has been or will be harder than Rivals 1. What we saw of it was hellish and the cast said that 80% had been edited out.
I just think people are being a bit harsh on Devyn. I mean I get it she sucks and she got lucky but she's not the only one. And given this format I don't know why people expected the best of the best to be at the end. SOMEBODY was going to get lucky and in this case it's Devyn and Johnny(Portland) Big deal. Although I gotta admit though I was hoping that Devyn and Laurel drew the kill cards and Devyn ended up beating Laurel in the puzzle. Now THAT would've been funny as ****.
I'm not thrilled with Devyn being in the final, but I don't understand people saying the others wanted to keep her around because she's weak. It seems like throughout the season there were only about two or three chances to vote her in anyway. She was either straight to the draw or on the winning team like 90% of the time. It seems like luck is more of a factor in her getting to the final than the other contestants.

Devyn was in a similar position to Jessica. She kept getting lucky with teams, only when the time came where one of the two was going in, the guys liked Devyn better I guess
i'd much rather see Jess in a final over Devyn though. I like Devyn more but jess is a better competitor
I actually liked Devyn on Seasons but she just has nothing for me to even notice her on FA. Except slide to the final. I have actually always thought that she could be a pretty good competitor if she really wanted to. I do not mind looking at her however.

If you're too weak for a Challenge then stay at joke with Chet. If you're too sensitive to watch a tough final then don't watch. It's not ridiculous.

Saw a post from this episode on MTV's site that I thought was pretty funny. "Bobby Hill did nothing this season NOTHING!" Didn't realize how much similar Johnny R looked like to Bobby Hill. The boy ain't right!
I finally watched the last episode, I hate the fact that the final elimination was puzzles because it would've been awesome to see Laurel & Theresa go at it in something physical, as well as Johnny & CT.
That last elimination was a little something like this: You get all fresh and dressed up to go to the club. You see the cutest girl at the bar and manage to spake up a convo. The vibes are good, you take her home and you're ready to smash. And then it turns out that she just wants to play tangrams all night.

I know Bananas was extremelly happy because he knows CT would of won him in any of the original eliminations.
I know Bananas was extremelly happy because he knows CT would of won him in any of the original eliminations.
Theoretically, CT would've beat Banana's at the puzzle as well though
The final elimination really wasn't that bad yeah it would have been nicer if there was more to it but in the end it didn't really bother me much.
I agree. I'm fine with how the final elimination turned out.
So I was watching this episode again. When Laurel finishes the second puzzle she turns it around before moving on. The puzzle stated that a complete unbroken line had to be formed, which i took to mean as there was no starting point and ending point, it had to be a continuous loop. This was what she had: She shouldn't have been allowed to move on. Unless I'm grossly misinterpreting the rules...and to just make a line isn't even a puzzle. The pieces were squares so making a line from end to end is just a matter of putting them on the board. Edit: Never mind. Theresa was okayed doing the same thing. I don't see how just making a line was much of a puzzle but whatever.
