Highly disagree with this statement, wait until this season ends and then tell me who out perfomed someone individually #Just saying
Keep in mind just because someone is bigger it doesn't mean that they are stronger, Cara is going to proved that this challenge by what I keep hearing.
Also, that she doesn't always needs someone to motivated her this was a growing experience for her.
Cara Maria have proved as a competitor that she is good while this would be the first time Theresa even does that in 5 shows. Don't tell me the excuse her partner sucks because competitors that have had sucky partners have had their shining moments, Theresa have never had one until now.
She has had some shining moments, despite the hopeless partners and misfortune she has received. She went home early on the first Rivals but she showed that had she been able to stay, she would've been one of the top girl teams there. Even on Fresh Meat 2 with the useless Ryan Kehoe, she was able to pick up his slack in the obstacle course, exile, Push me challenge.
About the comparison between Theresa and Cara. With Cara, she has been on SEVEN straight challenges already and has been partnered with some of the best players every single time, allowing her to last a long time and to learn a lot. I would be shocked if she wasn't a top girl by now, simply based on repetition. If you get to last that long on that many challenges, it would be harder to suck than it would to be good. With Theresa, she has only done 4 challenges prior to this, and in 2/4 of them, she was out so quick. She has not been able to build up the experience that Cara has had. It will be interesting to see Theresa on her 7th challenge, especially now that this challenge seems to be the first challenge where she actually gains some real experience and a fair chance while Cara has had many fairly reasonable opportunities to get far with the partners she has had.
The other thing about Cara and Thersea is with Cara, we have been overexposed to her abilities. There isn't anything we've seen her do or not do. Theresa's abilities have had such little exposure, as we only have seen small glimpses of it through her messy challenge career. Personally, I am far more excited to see Theresa this season(and in upcoming ones) than I am to see Cara simply because I feel I already know what to expect from Cara.
Looking at their elimination records for this season, I would 100% rather say that I have beaten Camila(great competitor) and Jonna(average/good competitor) over Nia, Jessica, and Toya, all of whom are completely unproven in comparison to the other two(especially Camila, who is easily one of the best females this season).

true
PinkRose, have you heard anything about how close the final was? I would think that the guy's side would be highly competitive, and it wouldn't surprise me if Laurel finished well before Nany.
I gotta say I really enjoy the idea of the draw because it ****s over the Alliances which was needed. I also really enjoy that the cast has no idea if the mission will be a team, pairs or individual match up. I'm really enjoying both.
If it is true that Nany was mostly on the winning teams and Laurel went into elimination with 4/4 winning record, I think this season will really be worthwhile. Is it possible that Theresa performs better this time around? Yeah, I think so. She looked like she put some gym time in and honestly, I think CT allowed her to get the game that close for the cameras. But it was good to see the game and, in fact, I'd love to see the uncut footage of it.

I wouldn't bet on that. Theresa played D1 college basketball. You can tell from her body language and the way she handled the ball that she knew what she was doing...people who play ball have that flow to them. I've heard people like Leroy and Derrick say CT can play but I don't think he really took it that easy on her...especially once he figured out that she knew what she was doing.
Plus the faster her beat her, the faster her clothes would've come off...highly motivating.
I know she played D1 but he also has a height advantage on her and could have swatted a couple of layups but didn't. Then again, I don't think he cared if he lost at it either since it was obvious they were having fun. ... I'd still like to see the uncut game footage because it looked like a hell of time.
So I was looking at Bananas website and he has pictures from the free agent house.
The only guys he has pictures with are the top 6 who have been speculated and the only girls he had in the pics were Nany and Laurel
So just more confirmation on who made the top 6.

I heard Nany put up a fight and that Johnny R was a surprised other than not really.

MTV gave away the final 3 for each gender at the beginning of the first episode lol
Banana aged a lot from Exes to Rivals 2/Free Agents
Banana aged a lot from Exes to Rivals 2/Free Agents
He's not exactly aging gracefully. But I bet Nany will still be stunner 25 years from now.

Yeah from all the 30's bunch that we have on this challenge bananas is the guy that looks older, CT looks the same and aneesa looks way better now.
Yeah from all the 30's bunch that we have on this challenge bananas is the guy that looks older, CT looks the same and aneesa looks way better now.
CT looks older.
its crazy how he used to be such a pretty boy on Inferno 2 and The Duel.
Isaac looks older too. It's probably that young beard.
Yeah from all the 30's bunch that we have on this challenge bananas is the guy that looks older, CT looks the same and aneesa looks way better now.
CT looks older but still young and hot! He needs to ditch the hair and beard and go back to the way he looked on Exes.
I think the best look for Bananas is being off the show.
yes...yes...I know he's won 4 times and he's made the most prize money. I just... can't stand him.
I was just rewatching last weeks episode and I randomly thought of Jenn and I was wondering how well she would do in this challenge, in everyone's opinion. Jenn has always been a favorite of mine, and I do think she is a very good competitor and I would always want her as a teammate. I can understand she hasn't own, and yes, I am someone who stands behind the reasonings of her losing.
Inferno 3- Competed well in missions, good rookie performance, lost to a good competitor in Susie
The Island- Didn't do much, didn't really have to. Was saved and got a key, had a horrible partner for her Faceoff (Tyrie)
The Duel 2- Competed well, made it to the final six females without many friends there, won two eliminations and then lost with an injured shoulder
Fresh Meat 2- Excellent social game, great physical game, won an Exile, lost in the final less than 24 hours after the Exile
CutThroat- competed well in every mission, was the most well-rounded competitor in the final with the best endurance, she had a big lead in the opening run and had to wait for Emily and everybody else at the first checkpoint. Had Derrick made the final, I believe they would've won
Rivals- competed well with Mandi, had to do the final with food poisoning
Now looking at the females in this cast, as well as the elimination games, I think Jenn would have a really good showing.
Girls I could see potentially beating Jenn:
Balls In: Laurel, Aneesa, Nany, Camila
Reverse Tug of War- Laurel, Aneesa
Hall Brawl: Laurel, Aneesa
Wall-climb: hard to judge for anybody
I give Laurel the upper hand because she's a beast and has a size advantage, Aneesa vs. Jenn would be an extremely good battle I think, but believe Aneesa has the upper hand in only Reverse Tug of War. Camila vs. Jenn could be good, but Jenn has the aggression to take her out and honestly, I don't think Camila is as amazing as people think. And with the wall punching game, tough decision because it's a crapshoot but again, I think Jenn has the drive and aggression to punch and climb more than others.
And the fact that Jenn has gotten into Crossfit like crazy since leaving the challenges, I think her chances would be even better now. I honestly think she could've given Laurel a run for her money in the final.
Banana's brings in viewers though and as long as he still wants to do it, I have a feeling BMP/MTV will keep on asking him back
I think this idea that CT and Bananas bring in viewers was proven wrong last Thursday. As evidenced by the ratings plummet compared to last season, those two idiots clearly have only a limited effect on viewership. If CT and Johnny are the "ratings magnets" most people here believe them to be, then explain why the show was 600,000+ viewers less than the Rivals II premiere.

Less advertising? It moved to a Thursday night? Who knows.
I do think that their "ratings magnet appeal" is going down though, I will agree with you on that. Frankly, myself, I enjoy watching some of the newer faces more than them.

You can't be serious. Do you even logic? Poor promotion and changing to Thursdays was the cause for low ratings.

Ct/bananas are the 2 with the biggest fan base follow by nany/Cara/Laurel.
Other than exes and Rivals none of the other formats has work out since the ruins:
Fresh Meat 2 poor ratings
Cutthroat poor ratings
Seasons poor ratings
Free agents to early to say low premiered due to lack of promotion compared it with rivals 2 you will see what I am talking about, Not appealing Theme that gets a casual viewer of MTV attention like rivals and exes did and the change of night.
Like I say it since the trailer was released promotion is horrible for this season and it was going to reflect on The ratings.
CT/Bananas still are the most popular about the franchise that are still doing challenges. CT was trending worlwide on twittwr on the first episode and he wasn't show much
It's like Kenny said, there are too many reality shows on MTV so the Real World and The Challenge have kind of lost their touch with the network.
Nowadays everyone is into teen pregnancy, social media and sex. Unfortunate, but it's the truth.
I think with better promotion, more sponsors, and if they bring back prizes then The Challenge can go back to it's old roots again.
They barely promoted Free Agents this year. By going to buzzfeed/huffington post, they did the right thing but they should've done more. I only saw the free agents trailer on mtv only a few times.
The challenge>>> Real world.

Does bringing back prizes do? I liked when they win money better for winning that days challenge.

Moving to Thursday is part of the blame, yes, but really that is a ****-poor excuse as Thursday competition is nothing compared to Wednesday. But promotion was not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Honestly, how many of you actually watched MTV 24/7 and counted the ratio of Challenge commercials to total commercial breaks? No one. During Teen Wolf, commercials for the Challenge would air during 3-5 of the commercial breaks, which is plenty, a commercial every break would be overkill. If you expected MTV to promote the show on other networks, that wasn't going to happen. The only show I can foresee that would get that kind of treatment from MTV is their upcoming Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings-esque fantasy adventure series, and that will only be because they'll need to get as many viewers as possible to justify production costs.
You made a great point about society's current trashy interests. That's probably the biggest factor in the ratings drop. Free Agents, while a great format, does not scream drama to casual viewers. If any thing is to blame, it is the twisted interests of modern TV viewers.

Probably would have made it to the finals without ever having to see an elimination round like she always has done and most likely would have gotten last in the finals like she always has.
Jenn has always just been solid to me, but she'd probably have an easier time on this season with little competition. I don't think she was the most well-rounded on the Cutthroat final, though. Laurel and Sarah were better than her in most aspects.
