getting back on topic just rewatched the episode and the helicopter thing was bull****. They should have redone it, regardless of what people thought. Fair is fair. I'm also surprised that Adam and CT ended up facing johnny and Tyler. Did they not really care who their opponent was? It would seem like an easier elimination round facing Wes and Kenny since they were proven to be the weaker team and Adam and CT match up better physically to them(since behind CT, Johnny and Tyler were the biggest dudes left). And it's not like it was an impossibility, Leroy and Mike didn't seem to care who was thrown in and had Adam or CT nudged them to vote Wes it would have been a tie vote - and the deciding vote would have probably been given to Adam/CT The only thing that I could think of was either Adam considered himself to be better friends with Kenny among the bunch or they legitimately didn't care

So JEK, Paula and Tyler got to take over US Weekly's twitter but CT gets MTV's. Anyone have the dish on that? I think JEK might have gotten US Weekly through their own contacts, not through MTV/BMP.
Attempt to get higher ratings for final?
Attempt to get higher ratings for final?
It is a PR technique used very successfully by USA Networks, the #1 rated cableTV network. USA Networks believes they have kept their fan base engaged which is important to retaining viewers. This represents a continuation of the complete change in PR strategy and direction by MTV and Bunim-Murray Productions, and is the aggressive approach that some of us in the industry have been advocating for several years. Of course, a completely engaged PR approach would include their recognition and acceptance of vevmo as part of that fan outreach plan.
At the very end of the last episode did CT say; "I don't care about you or you (pointing to Kenny/Johnny); I'll bend you both over!"
All I have to say is .. CHOO CHOOO! :D

I think it shows real maturity from past seasons that C.T. didn't blow up on Adam for losing that Jungle for them. He didn't get mad even though Adam made a big mistake by picking up the wrong color.

I think it gives him more fans, I know I started rooting for him this season. I think it is great he really seemed to try to be Adam's bud, I liked how they showed a clip from Paris :clapping:
I feel bad for CT. According to Johnny Bananas, this is a fall from grace and/or crashing and burning. Oh yeah Johnny, CT could have single handedly beaten both of you. It was Adam that beat CT. And when the next challenge comes around, be really weary of CT.

I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot and Adam had gotten that last ball in people would go at Johnny for losing even though it was Tyler who made the mistakes and gassed towards the end. Johnny's team beat CT's team, period, the end.

Nobody's denying that but winning wasn't in his control. "You're only as weak as your weakest player" :(
The phrase is actually "You're only as strong as your weakest player" but you have the right idea...
Hahah thank you. I sat and thought about it for like 5 minutes because it didn't sound right but then said f*** it.

I feel like she was just following the crowd because she still doesn't like Johnny from what she said on Caras ustream. (Sorry this is getting a little away from CT)
I could be a **** and say it's "only as strong as your weakest link," but I've chosen to to instead say that I COULD do that, thereby sort of doing it, but not really doing so... ...So uhhh does Ev not like CT? I don't see why she'd root for Johnny over him
Yeah I was perplexed too by Ev's opinion of CT during the whole season - it's sorta negative. On Gauntlet 3 she defended his actions for "trimming the fat" so to speak but then on this show she's sorta ragged on him every chance she got. She seemed ecstatic when Johnny and Tyler won, told Mandi CT was kind of a ******* with Wes and Paula, and during the bar was like "CT is the only one dumb enough to punch someone in the face". Doesn't seem like praise if you ask me. The only reason she would be happy CT lost is that it enhances Wes' chances of winning, but I still don't understand why she would be that happy in the first place. Maybe something happened in between the two off the show that ticked her off. But then again she defended him a bit on the reunion so I dunno
I think Ev wore black to support the alliance and for Tyler, because if CT won all the guys would be screwed. It would be weird if all of a sudden she wears blue when she has been allies with guys through the whole game.
Does anyone know if CT and Davis had closure after Inferno 3? I know Davis has recently taken pictures with CT, and complimented him on his looks.

In my recollection, those that seem critical of him were done in front of a green screen (GS) with some video or still pic in the background. In all of the GS interviews which are not recorded during the challenge days, there is someone from production present asking specific questions and prompting cast members in what some companies call GIs (guided interviews). In these interviews, the story editor needs some specific shaped cast member statement to fit the video story they have outlined. I know very few cast members who flat out will say "I can't say that." That production works this way is not something producers want cast members to talk about. Thus, discussion of production techniques is one of the things reality TV contracts generally include in the "what you are not permitted to do" area. What Evelyn or anyone else says during the taping of a reunion show or post-show interview is far more likely to the real cast member's point of view...even if it is influenced by the passage of time and having seen the actual episodes.
I have been out, the last week, due to some personal issues. But, Goalie! This elimination was so shockingly epic that I felt as though I were watching Gladiator with Russell Crowe. The way in which Ct/Adam lose was so mesmerizing that I began to think this was completely scripted. But, *******, that is how an elimination is supposed to go down. I am so pumped, even though my team lost. Greetings to all Econ

I knew about GIs because the winners of the Biggest Loser came in our school and talked to us about the way the show was filmed, so I was always skeptical of what they said in their interviews, especially when thy cried. But I've always wondered how some cast members always look nice and friendly, and some don't. CT got a really good edit this season, while Wes and Adam were always badmouthing someone. Do they word questions to encourage the cast members they want to appear as the villains to talk badly about other cast members? Or do they ask the everyone similar questions and they edit out all the nice things some say?

We want you to tell us something negative and positive about each person." Cast member: "Wes: He's a smart guy. He comes ready to play the game on the field and in the house. He's definitely not a floater in the game. And did you see him? He has to be completely juice, way bigger than he was in Thailand. Wow!" Cast Member : Wes: I can't believe he's come back with this same group of people he things he can manipulate. They know he can't be trusted. They are going to let him play his game until he annoys enough of the newbies that the votes well be there to send him into an elimination. Bye Bye Wes." Crew: OK, let's break down some of your comments just a bit. Don't be in awe of the "juiced" thing. Tell me how you think the drugs get info his head and affect his social game." etc...
Lol I didnt know they tell them to say negative stuff about each other, so they all talk ****, so why do they get mad after watching it.
Lol I didnt know they tell them to say negative stuff about each other, so they all talk ****, so why do they get mad after watching it.
Producers may say to speak negatively about them, but what they say still matters. They still are choosing to say what they say. So their must be some truth to it, or they would say something else. I mean it's like leading them to what they want, but the words are still being chosen by the castmember. Unless they say tell us something completely untrue about CT so we can twist it into you making fun of him. Besides V1's examples last page, I only figured they give them topics/situations and let the cast go on about it and take what they think is juicy. If you keep talking long enough, something has to be useable. Otherwise, being a fellow castmember, you should know how it goes and not take it so seriously. I guess how they react depends on the person.

About Johnny, if you watch when he and Tyler are hugging everyone after the win, Johnny/Ev kissed and hugged each other. I was amused by that. lol I've never known CT/Ev to ever be friends, though. Regarding what she said about CT this season, everything she said was spot on. He is the only one dumb enough in that setting to punch someone and get kicked off the show. It's happened before. And, he did treat her friend Mandy very coldly after whatever went down between.
