I also loved Laurel ripping Wes a new one and calling him a firecrotch.
Every one's saying she put him in his place but I think he enjoyed it, he was laughing at her when she got all pissed, he looked like he was instigating her just to get a reaction, then she started chasing him around with soda and he looked like he enjoyed that too. Why didnt she just cuss him out like she did to Eric?? But then again I dont think Wes would cry if she said he's pale and has red hair lol.

I'm surprised she didn't make fun of his relationship with Johanna or something along that line. CT did that on The Duel and I thought Wes was going to cut him up. Then again, that's when Wes and Johanna were together.

I think what Laurel has said to Big Easy and Paula is downright awful, and I'm sure someone will swoop in and tell me I'm an awful human being for saying what I'm about to say but: If Laurel said to Wes "Kenny banged the girl you claimed to be engaged to on national television" I would've probably pissed my pants laughing.

Lol that **** is played out I dont think any of them care anymore, he would just say the whole anyone that takes my sloppy seconds is a **** stuff, Kenny seems to really regret ever hooking up with her and he really should cause that started the never ending Wes/Kenny camera drama nonsense. But clearly the Johanna **** ended after the ruins now they just play it up for the cameras. He likes to **** people off so I dont think theres much you can say to **** him off.
Did you read the entirety of my post past the first sentence? The actions taken by these people in their mid to late 20s and even 30s is disgusting, immature and pathetic. The fact that some people find their actions to be warranted and hilarious is just as bad. The insecurities are blaringly obvious from all parties.

Obviously I did not explain myself very well... I'll try again.
The purpose of my post was to way that what those people were doing to Cara Maria was completely unacceptable, and when they go too far, I don't think that they actions taken against them that Laurel took were completely out of line.
I wasn't saying that you believed what they were doing was okay, I was just saying there's a breaking point where somebody needs to stand up, because there was nobody helping her at that point. Paula is guilty by association mostly, and did Laurel go too far? Probably, as I've pointed out. But was it completely undeserved like it was for Cara Maria? Absolutely not. I don't think Paula deserved the worst of it, but that's just how it played out.
In my mind, I think that Wes, Paula, Jenn, and Tyler (and CT to a point) have been the bullies this Challenge. Laurel just fought back.

I think you're missing the point. As you said, of all the people giving CM a hard time, Paula is the last one Laurel should have snapped on. For God's sake, Wes just dumped soda on her head. Laurel picked Paula because she was easily broken. She was the weakest and the one who couldn't or wouldn't fight back. That is pure cowardice. She lashed out at her in ways that can't even begin to be described with a basic, "over the line". Paula was wrong. They were all wrong... but what Laurel did was border line psychotic.

In all fairness, she did go after Wes first by trying to pour soda on him, and that's when Paula kept yelling at her or something like that. Also, I've heard that neither Paula nor Wes gave CM the time of day throughout the season so there may have been some build up to it. It doesn't justify it, but I wouldn't refer to her behavior as psychotic either.

I said borderline psychotic. Perhaps psychosis was the wrong term... it's really more borderline sociopathy. A characteristic of a sociopath is listed as so, "lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another".

Yes and no. Did Laurel go full bore at Paula because Paula was an easy mark? Yes. Would she have if Paula had left the room or kept her stupid mouth shut? No. Laurel went below the belt, but Paula's conduct definitely opened her up to that situation. Paula was a bully and got dealt with. While Laurel didn't need to say what she said, I have absolutely no sympathy for Paula because her conduct prior to that was deplorable.
I saw someone say on another message board that if they knew anything about Cara Maria's past, like if she suffered from an eating disorder or anything, they would have used it to bully her. All they knew to say was Abram and her horse so that's all they had against her.
I'd take a few comments about my past diseases or traumatic experiences over DAYS of being picked on, laughed at, and pure bullying. Laurel wasn't right by any means but I have a hard time feeling sorry for Paula. Just because she got a verbal beatdown doesn't take away all of the bullying she did.
I think at this point the only personalities I like on this season are Evelyn, Cara Maria, the 4 rookies, and somehow CT. I don't get it. This episode was just a ****-show.
Just finished the episode. Cara Maria had been picked on for 2 episodes. Laurel did an awesome job stepping in for her teammate. Bullying isn't right, and Laurel has done it in the past to others, but she had to do something and by counter-bullying she did, as it seems bullying is the language challenge contestants speak.
It's kind of weird seeing Wes be so open about bullying as a valid strategy for the game, using it against Cara Maria and using lying and mindgames with Adam. The show is already screwed up enough (fairness-wise) that alliances are formed before filming - they have each others backs and can sail each other to the end, and there's been bullying before plenty of times in the past I know, but making it out to be an okay thing to do to win is a little distressing. No wonder people there feel stressed and go a little psycho.
I loved the drama caused by the no-huddle selection that sent Tyler and Johnny in. There needs to be more things that break up alliances and pecking orders.

There really should. Instead of having every challenge voting system the same they should change it up make it better for other teams to go in and not have anymore Jenns.
I'm watching the episode again and watching CT go vs the other guys... you can clearly see their rope in the water, making it harder. I don't get why if it's clearly an extreme disadvantage he had they was fixable, why they wouldn't let him go again? :( Not that the shows are known to be fair but watching it again, it's so obvious.

If he had a shot to go again, I would bet a lot of money that Wes, Johnny, Tyler and Kenny, probably not Mike and Leroy, would throw a huge fit and claim that "it's not fair" when in reality it wasn't fair what happened to CT.

Exactly. One, in my eyes, is clearly more fair than the other. I feel like if they got to go again, he'd be worn out from before so it'd be an even bigger disadvantage to their team just because the show didn't work it out beforehand. It's so frustrating to watch. I guess it doesn't really matter though since I doubt CT could beat Leroy's 10 seconds so he would've been sent in anyway.

Yeah I thought he was climbing pretty fast then the rope hit the water, I dont know if that was because he was heavy or the helicopter just flew lower lol I dont know if he's heavy enough to drag a helicopter down. And the noises he was making were funny :p and the helicopter did look like it was flying slower for Leroy and the rest but who knows maybe it just looked like that.

CT and Adam were the 1st to go out of everybody (not 2nd) and after their turn. They saw how difficult it was so they made the helicopter go higher and slower -_-. It was pretty unfair. That's why CT DQ'd and the other guys didn't.

Haha, if it was his sheer size that dragged down a helicopter, I'd be insanely impressed!
Tyler has become really annoying. I hate how he tried to put the guilt trip on Mike for voting him and Johnny into the Gauntlet. Tyler knows damn well that had Mike and Leroy not won that challenge, there's no way Tyler would've voted Kenny/Wes into the Guantlet over Mike/Leroy. He would've voted Mike and Leroy in. So why get mad at Mike for voting you in?

I never thought anything of him really, he always blended into the background since I couldn't get through his RW season but he's horrible this season. What was with his ghetto impression making fun of Leroy? I don't know how everyone let that one slide for him after he cried about Johnny saying "Get it girll" to him a few seasons ago.

People always get annoyed when they are voted in, especially if they did not see it coming, regardless of the circumstances. In that respect the whole cast is annoying (with a few rare exceptions).
Tyler was pathetic in this episode. He was SO SCARED of going against CT that he lashed out at everyone. Even Mike Mike which didn't make sense cause Tyler would have no problem voting for him! I love when Leroy called Tyler's *** out because he was completely right. Tyler was scared shitless and couldn't even admit it. I hate how he won this season.
What's even worse is Tylers black impression with "yo yo yo Leroy!" ugh. This was a great episode and probably my favorite from this era. The only other that come close is episode 5/Banany elimination on Exes 2.

After re watching this episode, I'm reminded why I dislike Tyler, Paula and Wes so much.

I love Tyler but he was so scared of going in and I'm glad Leroy called him out. Leroy is so straight up.
I'm ******* dying. Tyler is pathetic LMAO
