The Challenge: Summer 2014 - Discussion (Spoilers)

There's always a complaint at the lack of power moves made in this game. Finally we're getting one (and an awesome one at that), I don't see the issue. Kill or be killed.

Sarah played the game brilliantly. You can't fault her for getting rid of her biggest competition.

Johnny can't complain if Sarah screws him over this time.  Sarah's been loyal for years.  She knew getting rid of him was important for her winning.  Sarah's been screwed over by production enough times that she has the right IMO.  Also, I always saw Sarah as loyal to Kenny and someone that tolerated Johnny.

It's gonna be nice to see Leroy and Nia as the underdogs and end up gettin 2nd. Love me some niiiaaa 

It was a smart move on Sarah's part. I can't argue that.

This is a game, you have to be ruthless to win, Bananas & Nany were the strongest team final wise and they needed to go if Sarah wanted to win. Johnny isn't a idiot , he'd do the same thing if the shoe was on the foot . You need to make power moves if you want to win.

If that is true then I guess he would have got rid of his friend Kenny before the rivals final because he was threat. Bananas does not screw over his friends.

Bananas would screw over anyone if he had a chance.  CT & Adam not Kenny & Wes was his biggest threat.  If Kenny & Wes were he would have gone after them

Banan***crewed over Paula to save his ***, he screwed over Syrus to save his *** and would screw over anyone else for his own good.  That's the name of the game.

Let's not make Johnny into a Saint or even loyal

She needed his votes from time to time. But overall I hope she didn't need him considering she had Evelyn & Emily as her partners.

Yeah Johnny was below Derrick on the totem pole, which is why he went into the ruins instead of Derrick. Kenny didn't want to lose Derrick so he sent Johnny in to face Dunbar.

I think Banknanas and Jordan has alot of similar traits. They might even have a similar challenge career. Remember what happened the season after Banknanas got backpacked? he won. Jordan got humiliated last season, now he came back to win. Will be an interesting challenge imo.

I think if finale was Sarah&Jordan vs Banany i would have been awesome to watch. Jordan has endurance and Sarah is smart. Perfect finale couple
Banany worked together well in FA and Bananas has lot of finale experience.

I think it will be great to see Nia in a final though. Her and and Sarah were arguably the best two girls there, so a showdown between them is even better IMO!

I would have still give the edge to Jordan and Sarah, though it would have been a close race.

How do you know Nia is any good to begin with? All we've seen from her is basically just her getting beasted by a girl half her size in a weight based tug of war elimination. Not to mention she scored low in 2 out of 3 missions to put her into the draw in the first place.

Nia put little effort into her FA training. This time she was serious about showing what she's capable of. She's been an athlete her entire life and is extremely intelligent. A Nia who puts forth the effort has everything it takes to be an elite. She beat Nany, Averey, and Theresa this season, so clearly she's heading in the right direction. Nany & Theresa are overrated, but they aren't slouches.

I haven't dig anything about politics, power couples and elimination matchups other than the first one. I want to be surprised about something.

Agreed. Just think if the all the people that comes on this show started actually playing the game and making moves and not being afraid. This show would be SO much better. Hopefully people will start doing what Sarah did.
