Okay. Why do people insist upon acting like this show is a standalone like Survivor or Big Brother?
What people neglect to realize is that this show is a SPIN-OFF to the REAL WORLD AND ROAD RULES. Therefore the only ones that should be on this show are REAL WORLD AND ROAD RULES castmembers. Not Fresh Meat and Not AYTO. Bringing people that have NOTHING to do with this franchise on makes no sense at all and really just ***** with the concept of this show. This is about seeing people from RW/RR..People that we know and have seen before and have some backstory on compete and live together. its not about seeing every and any ******* from any show come on and e terrible. It doesn't matter if AYTO is similar to the challenge. It doesn't matter if AYTO castmembers are RW rejects. THEY DID NOT APPEAR ON THE REAL WORLD!! Therefore they don't belong. I don't care how entertaining they are. If they're so interesting they would've been on RW and not AYTO.
And this really just makes the chance of seeing any past RW/RR castmembers that much more small. Why cast stricly from the RW/RR when you can get any ******* from any show? I mean what's next Teen Mom? Fantasy Factory? The next lame *** show MTV will try to make happen? Where does this end?

When people stop accepting this bullshit & stop watching it. They'll get their act together or just put it out of its misery.
I tried to use the quotes format, but it got messy pretty quick.
Okay. Why do people insist upon acting like this show is a standalone like Survivor or Big Brother?
I use Big Brother / Survivor to demolish that stupid argument that they're from other companies and have another fanbase, because RW and AYTO have the same fanbase and both are owned by MTV. Just like Survivor / Big Brother with CBS.

Road Rules got cancelled 2007 and the last episode was aired on the May 9th, that was more than seven years ago. So this means beginning with Inferno 3 (so almost the last half of this franchise) which was aired on the April 10 , 2007 BMP had a problem now that on the RR side, their pool didn't get any bigger and they could've only choose from a limited pool now in this Road Rules aspect which is why Fresh Meat was originally introduced six months earlier. Fresh Meat should've replace the people from RR and erase the problem with now only having new people added to the pool, because of Real World. Back to Inferno 3 and remember the true concept of this show was that Road Rules people go head-to-head with Real World people. So basically it should be 50 % from the Road Rules side and the other half on the Real World side. I think that was the first concept of the Challenge. Now let's see what happened after the cancellation of Road Rules:
The Inferno 3 saw 5 out of 21 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 23.8 The Gauntlet 3 saw 5 out of 33 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 15.2 The Island saw 4 out of 20 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 20 The Duel 2 saw 5 out of 28 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 17.8 The Ruins saw 6 out of 28 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 21.4 Fresh Meat 2 saw 2 out of 13 alumni being from the Road Rules side (That's 15.4 Cutthroat saw 4 out of 30 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 13.3 Rivals 1 saw 0 out of 29 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 0!) Exes 1 saw 3 out of 26 people being from the Road Rules side (That's 11.5 BOTS 2 saw 0 % Rivals 2 saw 0 % Free Agents saw 0 % Exes 2 saw 0 %.
So, what I want to say is, after the cancellation of Road Rules (7 years ago!), The Challenge (which is basically why they changed the name of the whole show in the first place) became more and more just a spinoff of the Real World with just maximum six people from RR. So after the cancellation of RR your " real concept" of this show ended and BMP / MTV had to rely on other themes to the seasons to somehow not be chained to the "Real World / Road Rules Challenge" thing anymore.
Did Road Rules people appear on the Real World? I think not! So in my eyes, that's not really a good point to use once again if I understand you correctly. Road Rules people mostly were also rejects from the Real World. Imagine BMP/MTV did not use them on other shows, we wouldn't even be talking about Road Rules. Some concepts fit other people better (like the Exes stuff on Ex-Plosion), but that isn't a question of whose more entertaining for the Real World. It's who brings more entertainment with the concept. (I'm counting Jamie out of this, because her ex refused to participate after he found out about what the show was really about)
And this really just makes the chance of seeing any past RW/RR castmembers that much more small. Why cast stricly from the RW/RR when you can get any ******* from any show? I mean what's next Teen Mom? Fantasy Factory? The next lame *** show MTV will try to make happen? Where does this end?
Wait, why can't we use Big Brother / Survivor as an argument, but you can use Teen Mom, Fantasy Factory against them?
People (in my eyes) need to move on on what once was. It was a spinoff of RW and RR, but it isn't anymore. It's mostly just the RW/FM nowadays. The old challenges were better, but we need to appreciate that this franchise at least keeps on getting new seasons. Seasons that are better TV than what most reality TV shows give us. It doesn't matter where The Challenge gets their cast, whether it's from RW/RR/FM or AYTO (and remember we are just talking about only 12.5 % of this cast), it's all the same to me, just give me good tv and that's it!
I tried to use the quotes format, but it got messy pretty quick.

It sure does matter, Ayto is not challenge related at all, it doesn't matter if there is four of them there or 8 of them, they shouldn't be there period. They are outsiders invading the show, look at social media fans HATE this idea so much. These losers should never have took spots away from real cast members who deserve a spot. Having the same fan base doesn't automatically mean they should be on the show. Catfish has a similar fan base but gets much better ratings than ayto, what's next having the catfish couple's on exes 3?

I said to me (and it should be for every other person that's not selfish or ignorant) it doesn't matter. Let's be real, most of the fans are not die-hard fans of the challenge, most of the fans watch the show only if their favorite is on it and as long as they are, the rest don't matter to the average viewer. We - on this site - are not the average viewer.
Fresh Meaters were also not challenge related. I think it's really amusing with your thinking that they shouldn't be there period, because they stole the spot from another person who DESERVED it, please explain to me how Bananas deserved to be on this cast? Or why Trey/Laura deserved it? Because they did RW? Let alone since they did not bring anything TV worthy to the table, both times we saw them.
Let them hate it, the hate will bring them to watch the show so they can cheer for somebody to put them into their place. Attention/Storylines give you ratings. That's basic marketing.
Tell me, do they compete on Catfish for a prize money, do we see multiple people on multiple episodes (minus Nef and the other cameramen), are the people on Catfish, young, fit and good looking? I think not. Catfish and AYTO have not the same concept, therefore they have automatically not the same fanbase.

Fresh meat is challenge related because they were brought in on a specific season just to get them on TV. Ayto isn't the challenge, just because they do stupid little challenges on it that doesn't make it the same. So what you're saying is any show where you compete for money and they have the same people is like the challenge ?
I tried to use the quotes format, but it got messy pretty quick.
Okay. Why do people insist upon acting like this show is a standalone like Survivor or Big Brother?
I use Big Brother / Survivor to demolish that stupid argument that they're from other companies and have another fanbase, because RW and AYTO have the same fanbase and both are owned by MTV. Just like Survivor / Big Brother with CBS.
What people neglect to realize is that this show is a SPIN-OFF to the REAL WORLD AND ROAD RULES. Therefore the only ones that should be on this show are REAL WORLD AND ROAD RULES castmembers. This is about seeing people from RW/RR..People that we know and have seen before and have some backstory on compete and live together. its not about seeing every and any ******* from any show come on and e terrible.
See, you can't even tell me why they deserved the spot more than AYTO people, because they don't!
I think you need to view this Exes 2 just like a Fresh Meat, people got to the challenge to compete, but they are just people that appeared on a previous MTV show and when you look at this, it's not and will never be a big deal that they appear now on the Challenge.
I did stated the similarities , because AYTO being similar to the Challenge and additing those people on the challenge aren't a big of a strech than people from Teen Mom, Cat Fish and others if they incorporate them on a future challenge.
I tried to use the quotes format, but it got messy pretty quick.

Well I think at least, we agree that we disagree! And the rest of this site is releaved that this discussion is over!:D
I don't really mind the AYTO people at this point...the show is on its last legs and is doing whatever it can to try to survive. I'm content enough seeing a fair amount of people that I enjoy watching that I really don't care at this point.
However I do completely agree that there's a big difference between the Fresh Meat and the AYTO people (and Camila, who I was also not on board with when she first showed up on Cutthroat) even if all of them are "Real World Rejects" (though I also think that term is bullshit because there are a fair few Fresh Meat who turned down the Real World or made it to the final and lost on a coin flip decision). The concept of the Fresh Meat challenges was built behind the idea of the Fresh Meat. The idea of those shows was "Hey, we're bringing in new people to see the dynamic of the people who have known each other for all these years and understand each other's strategies and new people who they've never met who may screw it all up". That was the point of the show. And it's ENTIRELY different than having a normal challenge and just being like...yeah, there are a bunch of new people here that are unrelated but we're just going to move on and pretend that they aren't. If you don't see that it's different, then you're being willfully blind.
Obviously the people that are bothered by it need to get over it, because it's reality and no amount of *****ing is going to change it...but it's a different situation.
"Hey, we're bringing in new people to see the dynamic of the people who have known each other for all these years and understand each other's strategies and new people who they've never met who may screw it all up"
That's the same to me regarding why AYTO people are on this challenge. At least they are not doing a Fresh Meat for them and they use that as a simple story, see that last video about it. They are not forgetting where AYTO people are coming from.

I still don't think you understand. AYTO had another show dedicated to them. There is no point of having to remember them when people can easily just go back and watch their episodes. I feel like it's a slap to the face of those that want to get on and compete to have to watch AYTO people practically become "FMers" after being on another MTV show. But it's perfectly fine for them, I guess.

I see what you are saying but I think it was a smart move on productions part because ATYO season 1 did so well and they have huge fan bases. I don't think they should bring people from season 2 though.

I get the point of not being able to do anything about it, but I'll still be over here, being bitter xD
I admit, I wouldn't complain too much with Brandon, Christina or Ellie/Jessica coming on to do Challenges. I don't see much potential out of S1 for the exception of Shanley or Scali.
The thing that I don't understand is a lot of the Are You The One cast and Fresh Meat cast were almost on the Real World. These people are just people and were all on the same level before the Real World cast was chosen. Lets say hypothetically if Simone was chosen over Nia to be on Portland all of a sudden everyone hates Nia but love Simone just because one was merely chosen to be on The Real World over the over? No one has seen an episode yet to be judging and hating so much. A lot of people love Camila now and she wasn't even on a show before the challenge period. I feel like everyone will get over it eventually feeling stupid for all the hate their giving except for Debut that likes to hear him/herself complain about nonsesical things.
I think they should. I really wanna see how Christina does on a Challenge. <3
I do too! I think Brandon being competitive would make the game interesting as well. But alas, AYTO does not belong.

AYTO is on another show though, FM was hosted on The Challenge, and in some form, so was SBC where Camila came from.
DA's just giving his piece like everyone else is. That's just my two cents there.
I am over it lol at first I was a fan of the idea, then season 2 entitled cast turn me off and now I am liking it again over all the hate is getting lol
As for christina , I think production would get shanllie/Jess and Ellie over her
I tried to use the quotes format, but it got messy pretty quick.
Fresh meat is challenge related because they were brought in on a specific season just to get them on TV. Ayto isn't the challenge, just because they do stupid little challenges on it that doesn't make it the same. So what you're saying is any show where you compete for money and they have the same people is like the challenge ?
See, you can't even tell me why they deserved the spot more than AYTO people, because they don't!
I think you need to view this Exes 2 just like a Fresh Meat, people got to the challenge to compete, but they are just people that appeared on a previous MTV show and when you look at this, it's not and will never be a big deal that they appear now on the Challenge.
I did stated the similarities , because AYTO being similar to the Challenge and additing those people on the challenge aren't a big of a strech than people from Teen Mom, Cat Fish and others if they incorporate them on a future challenge.
I'll tell you why: Because they were on The Real World. One of the two shows this show spun off of. and the people that this show is intended for.You need to understand is that while the two shows are similar and they are on the same network that doesn't mean that AYTO should be brought on the challenge. The two shows have NOTHING to do with each other. CSI and NCIS are similar shows too and they're both on the same network. Does that mean that CSI characters should be on NCIS and Vice Versa? Think of how stupid that sounds.
Lol @ "the goon squad". Nia will destroy them all by herself lmaooo
From what I remember:
1. Ellie is trailer trash
2. Briana needs to correct her eyebrows
3. Jessica needs to remove the drag make-up
4. Christa is a dummy
I don't know how they formed a squad.
That's not even competition for her.
oh god the goon squad are like a group of Priscilla's. Even shauvon can kick their *** ****
This would be my ideal Battle of the Exes 2 cast:
CT/Diem
Wes/Johanna
Nehemiah/Beth
Bananas/Casey
Leroy/Theresa
Robb/Marie
Swift/LaToya
Knight/Jemmye
Jordan/Nia
Johnny/Avery
Cory/Jenny
JJ/Simone
Chris/Shanely
**** Yeah! But I'd prefer KellyAnne/ Bananas even if it's just a rumor. There would be more drama and more competition...
I just want to see Bananas struggle with Casey ****.

Beautifully said^ couldn't agree more

Bananas deserved being on the cast because fans love him and production wanted to build up the whole Jordan/Bananas rivalry even more.
other than that I agree with you
Fresh meat is challenge related because they were brought in on a specific season just to get them on TV. They do because they were on freshmeat and not a show completely unrelated to the challenge I've said this a lot.
I think they should. I really wanna see how Christina does on a Challenge. <3
I feel like Brandon would be like a Trey of the challenge where he just isn't like by pretty much everyone.
I am over it lol at first I was a fan of the idea, then season 2 entitled cast turn me off and now I am liking it again over all the hate is getting lol
As for christina , I think production would get shanllie/Jess and Ellie over her
I'll tell you why: Because they were on The Real World.
