The cast consensus is that while Rachel was a good competitor, Tori is more of a driven, hungry animal. My money is on Tori.

I'm glad we'll be seeing more of Rachel. Diem and CT are back? *raises an eyebrow* should be interesting. I hear they broke up, a long time ago, so we'll see what happens.

Him and Diem aren't together so they might be gunning for each other, (Who wants to be on a free vacation with their ex). I wonder how he'll act with his whole 'family situation'. I wonder if he'll be humble, or maybe he'll be back to normal since the sands of the hourglass has passed to the other side. I hope he's okay, and I hope him and Diem don't get into any full blown arguments...never mind - I kinda want to see that. :evilgrin:

He intends to take out Evan. I'd told that right after the terribly tragic death of his brother, CT and Diem began talking again. I expect them to be civil toward each other, if not in an alliance. I know Diem's father has been particularly unhappy with CT in the past, but this is business...

And yes, they are more likely departing from LAX...I had to go to Australia several times for a previous job last year, and I always had to go via LAX (all the way from Texas)...More likely is the same for New Zealand...awwww they are not going with Quantas...Well, hopefully some of them know that they are just regular people with a very fun tv opportunity and keep those egos down (ehem, Evan?) and play a good and fun for tv challenge :) We'll wait for some news tomorrow!

A month? adding on to avoid a double post: I originally started making a format of whio i thought would vote for who, and how the process would turn out depending on who won the challenge...but that was too tedious and so instead I made a list of the duels I would love to see this season: From the girls: Ruthie VS Rachel Brooke VS Shauvon (like, OMG I broke my nail) Tori VS Paula Coral VS Aneessa Diem VS Jenn Katie VS Kim Brittini VS Robin From the dudes: Evan VS CT Landon VS Dunbar(because I want to see Dunbar cry) Derek VS Mark Eric VS David Issac VS Brad Dan Vs Nick(I kind of want to see a Nick VS Brad too though) Davis VS Adam My predicted underdog of the guys this season: Nick...out of all the rookie guys I see the most potential in him. My predicted underdog for the girls: Robin. I started out as a huge Robin fan, I have felt it slip drastically on the Island, so I am just hoping to see her make a big comeback. My choice for her might be wishful thinking, so my second nominee is Tori. She has the best chance to take out the competitors that I have high expectations for in the challenges

I think I'd pay to see that.

It feels that The Duel 2 is more anticipated then The Island was. Anyone agrees?

Sadly, the buildup seemed much overrated after actually seeing it play out. At least with the Duel II, we can assume we know what we are getting.

And the concept overall is good but I feel they could improve on it the second go around. It wasn't bad really just not as great as we expected it to be but oh well, it's over now so we can look ahead.

Hype? What hype? Vevmo did more promotion for The Island than did MTV.

Now there have been some good moments though and I feel the finale will be good but Duel 2 here we come.

Hey everybody I'm new to this site..but I love it!! I have watched every challenge and this challenge has the potential to be the best!! I'm sorry but I hate the island..I think it may have been better if they had to vote people off in secret, NOT to there face, that would have made it better. On to the Duel 2..I loved the first one and just seeing who is going to be on this one it should be good. Top girls...The strongest girls on this challenge is Tori, Rachel, Coral, and Ruthie. I love Coral I've met her a few times I think in a "Duel" the only girl who could beat her hands down is Tori...Tori I think could beat any of those girls head to head..and I don't even like her like that. I think that Rachel is still strong (did u see that chics body on the island) The problem with Rachel is that she is a little overzelous or a little cocky. She should have won that faceoff between Robin and Kellyanne..but she was so sure it would come down to her and Robin...and when Robin fell off I think Rachel just gave up mentally in these games you have to be both Physically and Mentally Strong. Robin,Paula, and Annessa are what I call "okay" sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not. I'm sorry I just don't think Paula, Annessa, or Robin could beat Coral,Tori, Rachel, nor Ruthie. My predictions...The last 5 chicks standing will be Tori, Rachel, Coral, Ruthie, and maybe Annessa. As for the rest of the girls I just don't see them making it far, although I love Katie, she is weak and even if she has lots of friends the new girls when they have to pick who they want to go up against they are going to pick Katie, Diem, Jenn. Guys..I think this is the first time where honstely most of the guys are strong...I think CT,Landon,Mark,Evan, and BraD WILL BE THE LAST 5 men standing..I think Eric will be the black horse..Chances are Eric will be in shape for this challenge because I know he felt stupid for loosing it for his team last time. This challenge will be good I hope they keep the same format. Also Robin and Paula will be BIG targets b/c of what went down on the island I'm sure Rachel will be gunning for these two when the new girls are gone. My only concern is when it comes down to just Rachel,Tori,Coral,Ruthie, and Annessa who will call out each other b/c they are all friends. I don't think anyone will call out Tori, not even Rachel...This will go down as the best challenge.. ah yeh where is Beth??
