Oh Jesus, are you serious? Its a ******* reality TV show. You really think production would let Nia getting away with some black gangsta chick bringing her wannabe *********er homies into the real world to jump people. And look what happened when Nia's "dawg" had the opportunity at Marlon's concert to jump Jordan, he didn't do ****. Please. This is an MTV reality show not the Rodney King riots.
However you're wrong for calling them gangbanger and gangsta chick. That's just wrong and ridiculous.
Laugh? It's quite clear the only reason Nia snuck up on Averey, for a pansy cheap shot after the fact, was because she knew she was bested in the previous encounter.
If you say so. But many people do the same exact thing and they won a fight so it goes both ways. Keep in mind, Averey did the same thing when she jumped in the first time.
Averey did the same thing when she jumped in the first time.
Um, sorry - but no. Trying to defend her boyfriend who had has hands protecting his head from Nia because he would not hit a girl is not the same thing as sneaking up on someone and hitting them from behind. Averey was actually honorable in trying to come to the rescue of her boyfriend, who was also being honorable in not laying Nia out flat.
What Nia did was the definition of cowardly. There is nothing redeeming about sneaking up on someone and smacking them in the head. Nothing.
That's because Dom had second thoughts but I'm not sure whether or not that was before or after Marlon talked to him.
Yeah I'm sure that's exactly what it was. Editting does wonders my friend.
Laugh? She did not face the situation in a straightforward way, and only strikes when she believes she is out of reach of her unsuspecting target.
Lastly and more seriously she appears to have substance abuse issues (from her social media posts/tweets and the flurry of self produced YouTube video) She is 6 foot, thumbsucking trainwreck. (I will add that she appears to have a severe malocclusion of the entire bottom jaw which affects the allignment her bottom teeth please notice you only see her bottom teeth when she talks). Instead of blowing money on cheap clip in ..weaves how about a good orthodontist and a bottle of Tobasco.
The severity of the malocclusion aka jutt jaw is quite possibly due to the thumb sucking or maybe a vitamin deficiency... but more likely from having her enormous foot wedged in her mouth so much over the years.
Yeah I'm sure that's exactly what it was. Editting does wonders my friend.
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe from the time she talked to him about it to the club he had second thoughts. Maybe it was the presence of the camera crew or a full crowd. Maybe he reconsidered because he knew there would be witnesses and he might have to suffer some jail time which could lead him to losing his business. There are a number of possibilities.

The thumbsucking at her age signifies something else entirely beyond being representative of her being a big baby.
I think you're wrong IMO.
If you say "I think", the "IMO" isn't necessary.
You honestly think someone who casually watches the show, a failing show, is going to actually get online and investigate like people on here do? This isn't Big Brother. This is The Real World, the average person isn't going to go online and look up interviews.
Laugh? It's quite clear the only reason Nia snuck up on Averey, for a pansy cheap shot after the fact, was because she knew she was bested in the previous encounter.
No she wasn't lol.
And, thus, for those of who have spent perhaps 15 minutes doing the research, you come off looking a bit foolish. If that is how you wish to be perceived, then so be it.
By the way, just how many times did you try out for this "fake reality show?"
I said "failing" not fake. ;) But since we're on the topic, how many times have you said "I'm done with this show", but continually post on here and view it?
Does anyone think things would have been better between Averey and Nia if she hadn't been coupled up with Johnny? Johnny's more immature than Averey, and he did things in that fight like throw snot at Nia. Averey and Nia only fought because she was defending her man. Nia even said on the reunion that in the beginning of that dog **** argument, Averey didn't even want to be in it.
Agreed. Johnny is one of the most immature people in the house. Actually, he's one of the only two cast members I would call immature.
And he always wants to fight her battles and involve himself in conflicts that have nothing to do with him. Sometimes you gotta learn to let girls fight.
Nia was the one with a fat lip and her weave on the ground.
Pretty sure it wasn't a weave. They're clip-in extensions. Which means they're not that hard to pull out.
Since when is anyone who reads Vevmo an "average viewer". We all do our research here, unless Molds gets to it first.
I'm not talking about people on Vevmo. Not everyone does "research", some people just casually post here, not including myself in that group. My point is that if some average joe turns on the TV, sees the fight, and thinks "yo this johnny kid is a punk", he's not going to get online and look up pointless interviews.
I don't think the average person views Johnny as a punk after Nia hit him with the hairdryer and then ambushed Averey. If Nia felt she had won or convincingly got the upperhand, then she would not continued the fight.
If the Johnny and Averey felt she might ambush them in their sleep, then that was a good enough reason to leave, especially since the producers had already told Jordan and Marlon they were not going to stop any fights. In fact, by the time the house vote happened, Johnny and Averey had already checked into a hotel and the producers demanded they come back and have a house vote.
According to the interview with Averey I heard, she said that Jordan came into her room to drop off Daisy and was on his way out when Nia re-instigated the fight that led to her grabbing the lamp. Jordan was done with it yet she could not let it go.
I think there are some people who need to accept the fact that Nia is just bad. What you say does not define you but your actions do define you. Nia's actions speak very clearly about what kind of person she is. During the filming of the Reunion, she was constantly interrupting Coral and cutting her off. But then again, they only showed 35 minutes of the 7 hours of footage.
I don't think the average person views Johnny as a punk after Nia hit him with the hairdryer and then ambushed Averey. If Nia felt she had won or convincingly got the upperhand, then she would not continued the fight.
Dude, it's not that serious. You're missing my point. I'm saying that IF somewhat thought that, they aren't going to look up interviews to investigate. I'm not saying the all average joes share that mindset, I'm saying that the regular casual viewer isn't going to go out of their way to look up things like that, no matter what their view.

Maybe we will read all about in her book. Maybe pigs will fly, too.
Below is an article published in "The Hill",the Howard University student newspaper after RW Portland season ended. She's back home and since she was on the paper when she was a student there she of course gets Khalea to publish an interview. I love the title "Keeping it REAL..." so obvious, so hilarious, so surreal. I tiptoed through the inane dreck for ya and highlighted what IMO is most incredulous, you're welcome.
Keeping it Real With Nia Moore

"Like most rising starlets....Nia had the ambition that her Georgian peers lacked at an early age – a quality that still fuels her storytelling spirit to this day...Although Moore has the heart, soul and spirit of a writer, she always had one goal in the back of her mind…taking “The Real World” by storm...But Nia’s always been friendly – she can walk into a room of people she doesn’t know and “act like they’re my best friends.” she admits. “I treat everyone with respect...
when MTV held an Atlanta open call in 2012. She knew that this was her shot – her season.
“Instead of walking out after my interview, I pulled one of the producers aside and said ‘I want to be on this show. Tell me you’ll listen to me for five minutes and I guarantee you’re going to be sold,’” she said. “And then I thought, ‘why would I stop at one video?’ I sent six. I went through a series of four interviews and just knew I got picked.”
Even when she didn’t make the initial cut, she felt that “God was touching her shoulder saying ‘girl, you got it.’” And sure enough, she got the call and was on the way to Oregon a few weeks later...She took on her new settings and new roommates with an earnest attitude even though she “intensely intimidated” the other girls in the house at first, though she tried her hardest to be approachable...I wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s shine…I just wanted to be a part of it. From beginning to end, I was the most loved character in the house.” ..Moore guarantees that everything comes full circle by the series’ end....The athletes and celebrities that she once dated are now her counterparts. She’s famous, too. But Moore assures that she’s the same thumb sucking party girl that she was before TV. The fame, she said, is only secondary to what she really aspires to do once everyone turns the television off.
LOL!
Alright, we get it. you don't like her. The season is over and I doubt you'll see her again anytime soon. Keep it moving, already..
BellaLisa has every right to trumpet her dislike. Personally, I'm appreciative of what she has been posting because she is doing research.
Perhaps if anyone should be moving on, it should be you. You seem a tad obsessed with defending Nia while refusing to look at any of the facts presented in opposition.
My take on this season and its characters (obviously based on their edit):
Jess: Annoying. Didn't bring much to the table, don't have much to say about her.
Jordan: Also occasionally annoying for his insistence to always be right about everything, but I like that he kept it real. He was never afraid to call anyone out on their ****, and he never wilted when anyone called him out on his ****. Seemed like a straightforward kinda dude, which I can appreciate.
Ana: The most mature, logical one of the bunch. I really liked her. Sometimes it seemed like she was the only one who knew how to act like a normal person.
Johnny: Whatever. He was funny and sweet at times, and really mean at others. I did like how he just busted his junk out during that argument with Nia, best argument tactic ever! Ha!
Averey: I thought she was so annoying at the beginning but I ended up actually liking her. Her relationship with Johnny seemed really genuine. I do kinda judge her for being unable to potty train her dog though. I mean seriously. It's not that hard.
Marlon: I'm sorry, but he's just a ***** (rhymes with wussy). It was pathetic how he was wrapped around Nia's finger for almost the entire season, and when he did finally call her out it wasn't even that good. Take a stand, dude. I'm sorry that she's black and that she's beautiful so you want to be BFFs with her, but you need to realize she's a snake and take a stand against it. Geez.
Nia: Disgusting. Doesn't even deserve a mention here.
This season: I actually really liked it. There were some things I wish they had delved into more (like Jordan's relationship with his dad and his suicide attempt), but I did like that they showed some things that I haven't seen much of on Real World in the past, like cast members going to church and openly talking about God with each other. Some of the drama was fun, but like everyone else, I feel that it went WAY too far in the last couple episodes and I don't understand how BMP can allow it without exposing themselves to massive legal liabilities. The fact that Nia was allowed to act the way she did, and basically put out a hit on Jordan (seriously what the **** WAS that?!), is just absurd. What if that guy really had gone after Jordan? What if he had shot him? I like to think that BMP had a tighter handle on the situation than we were allowed to believe with the edit, but I just don't know anymore.
I've got the Reunion cued up on my DVR and I see that Coral is hosting it. I cannot wait for her to put Nia in her place.

I'm not defending her anymore. lol at the end of the day it's a TV show and her actions have no affect on my life. BOOP. ;) I'm just saying move on already. In 5 more months, you'll have 7 new personalities to give your two cents on.

The season just ended. People are still going to talk about it and give it their thoughts. It's not like it's 3 months later.
LOL @ "obsessed with defending Nia". I expected something better from you. V1.
In my defense, I wrote that shortly after watching some cheesy Lifetime romance movie with my wife (forced servitude), so I was acting "under the influence." No worries, I'm back to being my normally acerbic self this morning.

Right! i personally dont care either way. Nia is a strong woman who i idolize and no amount research will change that.

In terms of the hair extensions, exactly. No way in shape or form should Averey act like she a queen bee.

See this is straight BS. If Averey got the "upper hand" she wouldn't be the ******* fool to go stay in a hotel because she would know in her heart she could give Nia "another beat down", so yeah, no.
See this is straight BS. If Averey got the "upper hand" she wouldn't be the ******* fool to go stay in a hotel because she would know in her heart she could give Nia "another beat down", so yeah, no.
Actually, they were concerned of what Nia might do to them while they slept AND they felt somewhat betrayed by production not stepping in like they should have considering the contracts had a "no violence" clause. Averey phoned downstairs to the first floor to the producers twice according to Jordan including once while Nia spent 30 minutes throwing drinks at her. But they still delayed in coming up to stop things.

Now you are really reaching. Just because someone wanted to remove themselves from a violent situation speaks nothing to their ability to defend themselves. I personally would have done the same thing.
There is no reason to unnecessarily expose yourself to someone who has shown to be mentally unstable and willing to take cheap shots.
