Coral did very well on the FM challenges, in fact she really surprised me. Up until that point I thought she was alot more talk, with little action.
She is definitely a whole lot of talk. She and Evan dominated FM, and I know it takes two to tango, but I really wonder how well she would have done with a different partner.

I still love Coral though. She's in my top 3 girls. :)
He may be an ok competitor.. but the only good one? Kenny's record isn't bad... Fresh Meat.... finished 2nd.. he MORE than proved himself there. Inferno III.... made it to the end... bad ***** won.. right? Don't remember. Gauntlet 3... We all know what happened there... The Island.... He's dominating the game... and he competed VERY well on his face-off. The only show he didn't compete well on was the Duel. Has Evan won anything?
although evan has never won anything, he is a great competitor. On freshmeat him and coral won most of the challenges until they got injured. On the duel he won more individual challenges than any of the guys. I dont think he performed too well on gauntlet 3. he tried to be the leader but he was not.
Corals really out there...I mean, she ran the whole show on BOTSII, even though Arissa screwed them over by making it to the end. I'm always easily impressed by Coral. :B

Has Evan won anything?
FM - For me, Tina's performance eclipsed his for some reason. I mean if you look past her ****** personality, I would not hesistate to be her partner in a challenge. ;) I3 - I think with proper motivation (e.g. getting voted in an Inferno), Kenny can outshine others. G3 - I forgot he was even there. o_o Island - Can't argue with ya there. Then again, Abram made a stupid fluke and Tonya was just out of it. The Duel - Agree 100% As for Evan, I think he's a good competitor too, if you ignore his mouth.
Evan, to me, is the only competitor from the last couple of years (2006 and on) that has really impressed me. And I say that for the people who just started out competing - in the Fresh Meat challenge and forward (so new RW and RR people as well). Evan is up there with people like CT, Alton, Landon, Derrick, Mark, Theo, etc. Kenny, on the other hand, is not, IMO. I also think he lucked out with getting Tina as a partner - she is a good competitor in missions, although she is lacking in stamina for running, as she showed in the Iroman like final they had on the Inferno 2. As I said earlier, I think the types of missions (or the lack of them this challenge) have gone down in the past couple of years as well, so it's harder to get a good read on how great some of these people are in competition. Evan, to me, accomplished some impressive things and stood out. I haven't seen other people standing out as much as he has in their first challenge lately.
When I think of Evan, I always turn to Beth's comment about him being the future poster child for the Hair Club for Men -- the before picture.
he's definitely not the only good competitor. i wish if he was on a challenge with alot of people that could beat him in a duel/gauntlet like: Derrick, Alton, Brad, Abram, Darrel, etc so they can show him he's not the alphamale that he thinks he is

haha that'll be cool to watch. he'll most likely lost to brad, Ct and landon, but for some reason i think he could be albe to beat mark. I guess since mark has never been in a gauntlet/inferno or any elimination battles. and dont know if mark will be as strong as he was before he hasnt done a challenge in like 4 years

Not at all. That's completely untrue. Just he's the one, from the group of Fresh Meat, RWs 16+, and RR Viewer's Revenge that has really impressed me in challenges. I think some people have shown physical strength and have potential. But no one has stood out to me like Evan. And that's only in terms of competition. I feel personality wise that he's annoying as well as many of you do. Of course there have been veterans and people who have competed on challenge from Fresh Meat and forward who I felt have done a great job. These people had already proven themselves to me, though, for the most part. I was talking about newer people.
I was talking about newer people.
As was I... ie Kenny and Evelyn. Although I dislike Wes..and he's not a FM kid... he's still "new".. and he's also an AMAZING competitor. Was FM the first competition for the Austin Cast? Maybe I'm just being argumentative.... I go through spurts. lol I know how I feel when I'm always on Kenny's side even though no one else likes him... lol.. I should be more understanding of your fondness for Evan.
Yeah it was the first appearance of the austin cast and the formation of the infamous "austin alliance" lol

lol i didnt know
Corals really out there...I mean, she ran the whole show on BOTSII, even though Arissa screwed them over by making it to the end. I'm always easily impressed by Coral. :B
Same here, at least since the second half of the Gauntlet. I think she is underestimated in terms of what she's achieved in missions. The thing with Coral is, I think people tend to think of her mouth and how outspoken she is, and I think that overshadows how well she is able to do on challenges. She may not be muscular or have great physical strength as a couple of the girls do, but she has done quite well in many missions. It doesn't always take a lot of muscle to do well - look at little Ruthie, and look at Ellen - they were amazing in BOTS and those were some of the best performances on challenges ever, I feel. Coral did fine on the Gauntlet 3, and if the team really wanted to get rid of the weaker girls, they would have tossed Casey well ahead of Coral, Beth, and even Katie IMO. Coral did not hold Evan back at all on Fresh Meat, IMO, nor did he carry the team, I feel. I feel they both did well together, as a partnership. Coral was the top girl on BOTS2, I agree (Rachel also was while she was there, and Tina and Robin were the other standouts to me on that challenge). She also was the top girl on her team in terms of performance on missions in The Inferno. The Gauntlet - she was quite weak in the beginning and deserved to go in the gauntlet when she did, but after that she started to perform pretty well for the most part. Just had a disaster on the final mission. I though she was on the weak side on Battle of the Seasons as well. So pretty much I feel she started off weak in the first challenge she did and for a good part of the second one, and from there she has been a good competitor. I really hope she has a good showing on The Duel. I think she is capable of doing so, and if she does, maybe more people will see her as a good competitor as well as someone who can talk a lot. Other people who I think are underestimated sometimes because of their mouths or their manipulative abilities or other things - Tina (aside from the Inferno 2 final), Veronica (she's up and down, but can do quite well sometimes), and Tonya (she's seen as crazy and she has messed up sometimes, but she has been decent in some missions). I look more at the missions more to determine if people are good at challenges or not, compared to just how physically strong someone is, how much they weigh, if they participate in sports or exercise a lot, if they've won a couple of elimination rounds (especially if they are weight based or are like that watermelon daring thing from the Duel).

I should be more understanding of your fondness for Evan.
No, I'm not fond of Evan. Seriously, I'm not. I'm just saying he's been a great competitor. I am not very fond of the people whose introductory season was Fresh Meat overall. So I'm not trying to just pick on Kenny. But my posts were really about competition, and Evan is the one that stood out to me in that respect. Even of the people from RW 16+, they have not impressed me a whole lot in competition. Wes is not super impressive to me, actually. I know a lot of people loved him and thought he was amazing in The Duel, but I didn't aside from him winning. There were people like CT, Evan, and Brad on that same challenge, and I think what they've done in the past has been more impressive than what Wes did overall in the missions. Perhaps I sell The Duel competitors, aside from CT, Evan, Brad, and Jodi, short because I didn't like that challenge very much. It's not intentional if that's what I'm doing. But I was disappointed in that challenge and thought it was representative of a further decline in challenges like Inferno 3 was. I surely hope Duel 2 is far better. The cast is looking decent to me so far. I shouldn't get my hopes up too much early on, though.
It would be cool if coral and katie get back at Evan, Diem, CT and Adam for what they did to them on gauntlet 3
It would be cool if coral and katie get back at Evan, Diem, CT and Adam for what they did to them on gauntlet 3
Adam was also in the plot during G3?
yeah in the plot against katie thats why she was mad at him and also he was helping paula. I cant remember if he was in the plot against coral
yeah in the plot against katie thats why she was mad at him and also he was helping paula. I cant remember if he was in the plot against coral
It's all coming back to me now. He did help Paula which got rid of Katie. That's why she was calling him a backstabber. Lol, okay. I got it now (100th post. :D)
Aw it was pretty sad though, the scene where he tries to hug Katie good bye but she just ignores him.

I hope Coral and Katie get revenge! I am so excited!
Aw it was pretty sad though, the scene where he tries to hug Katie good bye but she just ignores him.
Lol, it was sad, but Katie doesn't stay mad for long, I know they're cool now and hopefully they'll help each other get far in this challenge.
Lol, it was sad, but Katie doesn't stay mad for long, I know they're cool now and hopefully they'll help each other get far in this challenge.
Adam owes Katie. He's been reminded.
all im going to say.. Inferno III - Brad and the wedgie. "NOW ITS A NECKLACE.. NOW ITS A NECKLACE!"
all im going to say.. Inferno III - Brad and the wedgie. "NOW ITS A NECKLACE.. NOW ITS A NECKLACE!"
I have to agree, that was challenge gold.
Does anyone ever wonder why it's Coral's bed that always gets peed in? First by July on The Inferno, then Tonya in Fresh Meat. Anyone wanna take bets on who pees in her bed if she really is on The Duel 2?
