Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins - Spoilers

This is most likely completely random and off topic [[and I like being random and off topic :) ] but something I read today made me think..okay so MTV has decided they may do a handful of these challenges before I guess they call it quits? I'm just curious as to why would MTV ever consider canceling/discontinuing a show as long running and popular as the real world RW/RR challenge?? Is it because in order to do a RW/RR challenge there must be competitors from both shows and there hasn't been that many season of road rules as the real world?? AANNDDD if that be the case, why not bring road rules or something like it back?? [[Im highly suggesting something like road rules but not road rules if that makes sense..Im sure you know why i say this a LOL]] [[As usual I ask more than 1 question at a time]]

Yeeaa that last part probably didn't make sense...let me revise something: [[Im highly suggesting that MTV create something like road rules but not exactly like the road rules shows we've watched in the pass..Im sure you can figure why I insist it to not be like the old road rules..no offense LOL]]

Now seeing the whole cast, I am hoping and thinking that it will be Winners vs Challengers type format.

I was thinking old school vs new school myself...that's a bit more even (depending on your definition of new school...)

Something about the title means there will be some new format.

If you do old school vs new school, with new school being Key West/Fresh Meat on vs everyone before, it's a mixture of both, and 15 vs 13.

I just think with a new name comes a new set of rules.

As The Duel 2 has been one of the best Challenges in a long while, and the first was very good too. The Island.....hopefully they learned their lesson. Although I think it could work due to major tweaks. But I do think they are limited to new concepts for Challenges now.

It the past, they either had their phones or the cast were given two international cell phones to use as they pleased (Gauntlet 3 and The Duel 1)

The reason I ask is because I'm trying to understand why people are speculating that the format might be similar to that of The Island since I remember that The Island is not the only challenge in which they weren't allowed to have their cell phones.

A Challenge needs Challenges, elimination rounds, etc. The Island had nothing. The only resemblences I could see between this Challenge and The Island is no technology and seclusion.

Any clues what eliminations each player in went into?

so i do this with mostly every challenge and il do it for this one i like to watch the trailer and kinda let everyone know wat i have seen i do it by time wise on the video 0:00-0:10- casey and danny talking about thailand and the challenge and tj introduces them to the ruins. 0:11- 2 guys in the ruins holding onto a ring, probably an indurance battle of who can hang on longer 0:12- katie holding on the ring 0:12-0:13- nick in the ruins, he looks all wet and on something slippery 0:13- susie in the ruins kicking something 0:13-0:14- someone in a water tank 0:14- brianna in either a mission or ruins. she is turning a wheel of some sort, like a car wheel 0:15- conhutta in the ruins hanging onto a pole-like things trying not to fall 0:15- a champion girl in the ruins with her hands and feet connected to something above and shes hanging 0:16- a ruins between 2 guys. the 2 guys are wes and im pretty sure its chet. 0:16- a blonde challenger girl, who i think is kim, on the ground, wet, with someone else on top of her. might be a ruins but not positive. 0:17- two guys in the ruins jumping over something like an obstacle course. it's cohutta and wes. 0:17-0:18- two guys in the ruins wrestling 0:18-0:19- the glass chamber of water breaks and the water spills out 0:19-0:34- tj introducing the casts and what the teams are with some commentary by derrick, adam and evan. 0:35-0:36- 2 challenger guys attacking wes during a challenge. this challenge looks similar to the "kicking and screaming" challenge in survivor where players have to physically remove opposing players from a pole. 0:37- wes jumping off a boat into the ocean 0:38- derrick climbing a rope and then a champion male swinging from a rope into a wall 0:39- a guy swinging off a rope into the water 0:40- shauvon in the water saying she might have popped her implant and the champion team all laughing 0:41-0:42- a champion male who looks like johnny running down a ramp dropping balls 0:42-0:43- a challenger male throwing fruit over a wall to his teammates which i think are cohutta and maybe dunbar 0:44- 3 challenger males pushing a tire up a hill 0:44- bugs and evan gagging 0:45- a girl underwater pulling herself down using a rope 0:46- both teams running over their teammates 0:47-0:50- the challenger team competing in some sort of challenge where they are all on a rope together and casey is at the top and falls. 0:51- tonya leaning on something trying to catch her breath 0:52-0:57- commentary about the couples and past relationships 0:58-1:12- more johanna, kellyanne, wes, and kenny drama 1:13- ev crying probably when ev loses in the ruins. 1:15- derrick bleeding 1:16- tonya slapping veronica 1:16- some kinda fight in the cast 1:17- 2 male players, one challenger and one champion climbing across cages. i think its evan and someone else 1:17-1:18- darrel talking to wes about him calling him out 1:19-1:20- wes flipping out 1:20- a male challenger and male champion wrestling in the sand 1:21- dunbar all sandy 1:21-1:24- wes telling johnny he cant wait to beat the **** out of him =] 1:24-1:25- derrick and adam wrestling in the house 1:25- kellyanne flipping out crying 1:26-1:29- katie yelling at i think sarah to get out of their room, katie pushes sarah out of the room where ibis is crying with johnny 1:30- ev yelling at johnny saying "idc about anything" 1:31-1:32- 2 guys fighting where one punches the other while hes on the ground. its darrel and brad. 1:33- 2 guys in the ruins running to something like an obstacle course. its wes and conhutta again. 1:33-1:34- tonya screaming at veronica 1:35-1:36- katie screaming and hitting the bed with a plunger 1:37- kellyanne crawling in the sand under ropes 1:37- susie upset 1:38- chet screaming "woooo" and the clip of the challenger team 1:40- derrick walking away from something 1:40-1:41- danny screaming "im not gonna make you quit" 1:41- guy swinging into a wall 1:42- evan gethering fruit 1:43- champion team picking up concrete blocks 1:43-1:44- two girls in the ruins doing the ring holding game. its katie and sarah 1:44- someone spinning in a tire 1:44-1:45- 3 challenger girls, kim, sarah, and i think kellyanne, dragging a champion girl through the sand 1:45- kenny jumping off a wooden platform in the water 1:45- someone looking at the sunset 1:48- kenny, derrick and someone else carrying susie. final mission? 1:49- derrick climbing and sarah climbing someone 1:50- 2 guys wrestling in the sand 1:51- a challenger girl falling off someone while climbing it 1:52- susie in the rain 1:53- 2 guys wrestling in the house 1:54- someone climbing over a log and susie like holding a girl 1:55, someone hitting a gong

When the 2 males are shown holding the ring, the Champion male is Wes. When it shows 2 Challenger males against Wes, it's Brad and Dunbar.

I def think the blue shirt is Cohutta so the other is probably Derrick because Cohutta beats Wes in the ruins where they do like some kinda obstacle course. So the red shirt can't be Wes. Also in the beginning of the trailer when you see Susie in the ruins kicking something, thats def the last female ruin against Casey because you only see Sarah off to the side and Kelly Anne is probably somewhere over there too. Another thing. In the clip at 0:15, I said before about the champion girl hanging, I didn't even notice the challenger girl in the background also hanging. It looks almost like a race between the two girls.

If you pause and watch it by frame, you'll see that the other guy is black.
