Road Rules: Past Seasons

Emily Season 2 - She was the homebody/quiet/innocent girl. She didn't really have a lot of experience in life, was very low-key. I don't want to use the word "naive"...idk, I think young and inexperienced covers it. She seemed SUPER nice...grew very close to Devin, and seemed to grow a lot. When the challenges aired, everyone (the edit and fans) made her out to be a ****h, but I really just saw a strong, strong competitor who wanted to win and knew how to do it.

Emily and Timmy make me want to see their season. I don't think Emily would look bad compared to a lot of people on the challenges from the past four or five years, because most people vote based on their cliques and such it seems, without as much worry about who competes well. I do feel she let jealousy guide her on Battle of the Sexes, though. If she wanted to win so badly, she would not have left when James was voted off, IMO. I think she was insecure concerning her relationship with him. But she knew who she wanted voted off and went after it - she's definitely a strong, tough girl. Apparently she and Devin dated for a while after her season. She talked about it on something and I at least remember reading about it, if not seeing it and remembering it myself. If it was during a challenge I definitely saw it, but must have forgotten about it.

Right right....she DID quit one! Ok...so that's less than admirable, it's true. But Season 2 Emily was way different (read: edited differently) and Season 2 was so memorable. I love Christian and Timmy =)

Wow no love for The Quest huh? Well I go with that one because It was my 1st Road Rules season I saw. I liked the concept of Campus Crawl and the cast was alright. South Pacific Was Amazing one of my favorite seasons. X-TREME was alright. Viewer Revenge sucked. That was just awful. That is all.

I haven't seen The Quest, but I'd really like to. I have only seen them on RW when they did the battle with Back to New York.

I miss Road Rules.

Back then, the challenges and RW had numbers in the 2 + range. Overall MTV's ratings were much higher then, and the numbers you cite were on the low side given the cost of production; At least that is what MTV folks have said over that past couple of years.

why are their ratings declining so? Usually shows like these have a sort of cult like following

I miss road rules. I've only watched Campus Crawl, South Pacific, and Extreme but I loved the show. I miss the days when Abe was referred to as mini miz...

But then I looked at the friend's list to see what RW/RR cast members you meant and they are people like Eric, Diem, Trisha, and Ryan from Brooklyn, to name a few. I just doubt that is the same Emily. I know we don't see everything on the shows so yes she could know all those cast members, but they are all from the newer crowd and Emily hasn't appeared in over 5 years. I could just as easily be wrong, but just my two cents. :)

OK, RR fans. Out of these seasons (the seasons I didn't watch), which one would you recommend to me? RR Season 2 RR 3: Europe RR 4: The Islands RR 10: The Quest RR 13: Xtreme Wow, I've seen more seasons then I thought! Watching VR and just recently watching all of South Pacific got me to the point of seeing over half of the seasons. RR South Pacific has been a great season to me and has really made me miss RR, and I am interested in finding more of the seasons I haven't seen, as well as my favorite seasons. I already have thought about picking The Quest, just from hearing fans of the show talk about it and seeing the cast members on challenges. Also, I have been more interested in seeing season two because of Timmy and Emily. Belou seems to be one of the more explosive/dynamic cast members based on BOTSeasons, and I am kind of interested in seeing her background. I know barely anything about the people from season four. Maybe I will see them all eventually some day, but for now I want to focus on one or two of those and my favorites (season one, Semester at Sea, Down Under, CC). Your input might help me make up my mind.

I tried looking for the "where are they now?" thread, but I must have missed it so I will just use this thread: Anyone know what Kina has been up to? I always liked her a lot and wondered what she's been doing since RR14. I know she said she was done with challenges but I would like to see her return soon. Hopefully she would not stand for the Evan/Kenny stuff. Also wanted to know if she was still close with the people she was close to (Derrick, Ibis, Katie, Cameran, Brad, Robin, Tori, etc.) Thanks!
