I wouldn't count on it being true. I believe it is just a false rumor in order to keep people thinking that Road Rules will come back.
Yeah you right. Check you PM's!!
I never could understand why people liked Real World more than Road Rules. Maybe just the fact that it's been around longer, but still... I find RW to be boring compared to RR. RR they do missions and have to be around each other 24/7 in a cramped winnebago whereas on RW while they have to live together, they can escape and go to clubs and whatnot. I just always find the RR concept more exciting.
But then again, I'm biased because I started watching RR before RW and have a lot more seasons of it than I have of RW.
Shame it probably won't be brought back...
I started watching Road Rules because of the challenges (The first challenge I watched was Battle of The Sexes and I remember all of the drama queens and kings on that season were Road Rulers) so I said hmm maybe the actual Road Rules show is good. So I watched a marathon of Road Rules Campus Crawl on MTV and I fell in love. Then South Pacific was even better! I liked the X-Treme season as well. I feel like Road Rules could be brought back if they did it right, I actually liked the vote-off rule more people for the challenges and we got to see fresh faces through out the season.

Campus Crawl was the first season I watched as well. Its what drew me into the show.
Now this person is saying that he has a family member that is a camera man. They started filming it 3 weeks ago on May 22nd or somewhere around there. V1man, is this true? Or is this just a person trying to start something?

What are you talking about?
Road Rules will NEVER come back.
Yeah I know, but somebody I think is trying to spread rumor about it... and now they are saying that they have family members that are camera men and they are filming it. I don't get what is the point of starting such rumor.

That's why I ignore it. I know who my sources are. ;)

The first thing that I started watching was the original Gauntlet, and instantly I began to get more and more into the RW/RR franchise. Back when the Gauntlet was on, Road Rules was in syndication and I happened to find it one morning while channel surfing. Coincidentally it happened to be Semester at Sea, which is the one I was wanting to watch the most (I was in love with Veronica). After SaS, they showed the other 7 seasons and I watched all of them and loved them all.
I saw a South Pacific marathon and also saw X-Treme and Viewer's Revenge.
The only ones I haven't been able to watch are Maximum Velocity Tour, The Quest, and Campus Crawl.

Yeah! Road Rules use to come on at Syndication here it came on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. But I didn't like Road Rules at that time and didn't give it a chance to watch it. I wish I could take that back now...

OMG I agree with you so much. When Road Rules was on I thought that it was better Than the Real World And I started watching both around the same time. It's a shame that Road Rules never got the attention that it deserved.
Actually I still do think that Road Rules is better. I mean you had 6 people going to places that they've never been and doing things that they never did. and I always liked the concepts and the places that they went to were Interesting and the missions too.
But yeah that Rumor is more than Likely false.
I Miss Road Rules.
Favorites:
Season 6 - Down Under (they were a fun cast. You had a bit of conflict, but it was mostly a fun road trip)
Season 8 - Semester At Sea (the ship concept was lost on some and the girls were the standout "characters" of that season but I thought it was pretty diverse.)
Season 1 - It was all about Kit and Mark (before Mark started to bug me a bit)
Seasons 3, 4 and 5 were great as well.
The Maximum Atrocity Tour (Season 9) was where things really started to unravel, though The Quest wasn't bad. I could just never get behind the whole idea of voting people off.
Cast Updates!! Road Rules mommies;
Wow, thanks for the updates! Especially on Kathryn..she practically disappeared. Now that I'm older the whole 'did they or didn't they' between her and Laterrian in the bathroom doesn't seem so bad now.
Man I still pray, that there will be a Road Rules comeback. I mean the chances are so small, but hey anything is possible right. Miracles happen just believe (real cheesy LOL). I pray to God it comes back.

You and I agree on a lot, I've noticed. :)
Yeah around here, they would show RR over the weekend (Sunday mornings at 3 and Monday at midnight) and I still have some of them on VHS. I found a few episodes of Europe and Islands the other day and watched them. The only annoying thing is that they would take all of the music out and replace it with elevator music. I got SaS off eBay a few years ago and got the actual MTV version and didn't realize they actually used REAL music in the shows haha.

Private Message me where you got them from please
According to whom?
A very unreliable source which is pointless for me to mention here. I don't trust it one bit... I'm just laughing at how a certain group of people take this "New Road Rules" rumor so far. They said that Danny's sister is in the cast. Don't believe it...
Lamb Chop, I would like to know where you found those episodes as well. Thanks.
Wikipedia... LOL. I don't trust it one bit.
Blanky, that article is in the process of being deleted because it is pure fantasy.
