I'm happy she is back, but I really think they shoulda let America vote on which one of the 4 came back. It was unfair the way they did it.
Yeah, that's true. I still think America would have voted for Diamond anyway. With her vs. Arin, the consensus was that she easily won. The same couldn't be said for the others. I'm glad we got her back, but I'd be fine with some sort of Wildcard show. If they got Jillian Jensen back, America would probably go ballistic (in a happy way). I was pretty pleased with this episode, it looked like the judges finally listened to their contestants and we got to see better vocals because of it. A few contestants that interested me: I agree with Simon about Jennel Garcia, I have no idea where this rocker-chick came from. Though I think Demi is GREAT as a judge, I really dislike her opinions as a mentor. CeCe Frey is sinking. I could see her being popular, but her performances are just bad. And I think Jason Brock did great tonight, I don't know why he always got that criticism. Maybe Simon wants to just get rid of the adults. I think people like Tate and Jason can be throwaways to let other acts go on. As for tomorrow, I think Tate's going to be in the "bottom", because he doesn't have a large following. Oh, and I think it's unfair that Simon got to have the last performance again this week. Carly Rose should have closed the show.

She needs to do something more relaxed. I also think Demi is trying to not make all of her artists the same. That being said, I think Janelle is doing an amazing job. Demi needs to remember that less is sometimes more. I think she has the most talented people and that's why she feels she needs to overproduce things to keep up with them. As soon as she realizes that it will work a lot easier for her team.
I'm so happy that Diamond is back in the competition. She's the best one there next to Cece being second and Janelle 3rd. Everyone else, especially Beatrice Miller, stink. David Correy should be there as well. Arin has no vocal range so I don't see why the judges are sucking up to him. And what the hell is with him singing that song?

I was a fan of hers before the live shows, but I think her last two performances were among the worst of the show. And I think Arin's getting compliments because the judges see another Justin Bieber in him and want to use that. The thing they did at the end of the results show, where they ranked the contestants was pretty awkward but really interesting. Carly Rose already has legions of supporters, but I guess it couldn't beat out the legions of country music lovers we have in the US. Also, it warmed my heart (in a slightly sick way) to see Arin place at 11th and Diamond at 4th. I think the intention of it all was to show viewers (mainly younger ones) that they need to vote because right now adults are the only ones doing it (accounting for the two adults in the top three).
I was very surprised to see Vino and Tate placing 3rd and 1st was not expecting that at all, I knew Carly would being either 1st or 2nd.
I was very surprised to see Vino and Tate placing 3rd and 1st was not expecting that at all, I knew Carly would being either 1st or 2nd.
Tate Stevens would probably win American Idol, no problem. I wouldn't expect anything less with X Factor either. The older demographic that does a huge portion of the voting probably could care less about all of the bubble gum artists and ringtone rapping that goes on now-a-days.
I love Fifth Harmony, I feel like they will go really far in this competition. I was surprised by Tate Stevens with the most votes though.
My theory on why Tate got the most vote: Tate is probably the only person in the competition atm who isn't having to compete with anyone for votes from fans of a certain genre of music. I mean, country music fans are giving all their votes to Tate, but pop music fan are splitting their votes between probably 8 acts. When we get down to the final six I doubt he will still be top, in fact, that will probably be the time he goes.

I'm actually happy with Tate being ay the top, because it shows that X Factor has a more diverse voting demographic. If this were Idol Emblem 3 and Arin would've been 1 and 2. Plus, Tate is really lovable!! I'm rooting for Jennel as of now.
Does anyone else find khloe a really bad host? I look at her with the intention to get better but she doesnt, she is out of time, repeats lines that mario already said,I guess simon want her bc of all of the 3 kardashians she is supposed to be funny one, but I havent see that yet.

Give the girl time.

Because a wgwg has won idol the past 5 seasons lol. Arin wouldn't have a chance on idol (not complaining, cause I don't think he's very good ) I just hope Beatrice goes far and takes down Carly.

Okay, makes sense.
Oh, so you think teenage girls would vote for the 30something overweight country singer instead of the young, hip mini-Usher? Okay, makes sense.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree with Lola on this one. Tate would have a very high chance at winning Idol. He's definitely country star material and that's what the Idol voting population goes for, in recent memory. Nothing is really different with X Factor, Melanie and Josh placed top 2 last year for a reason, despite Chris Rene being the more well-rounded artist as he's demonstrated. The leaderboard was of no surprise. The only shocker was that Emblem3 was below Diamond and Fifth Harmony.

No way in hell should Carly Rose and Tate Stevens be that high up on the list over Diamond. That's ****ery right there. Plus they both suck. Unlike Justin Bieber, Arin actually has meat on his bones. Arin's song choice was just sad. Also, I see if you compared him to Usher or hell even corny little *** Ne-Yo I'd agree.
I was very surprised to see Vino and Tate placing 3rd and 1st was not expecting that at all, I knew Carly would being either 1st or 2nd.
LMAO. that is all. Considering that TWGWG has one AI like 10 seasons in a row. And I'm shocked that you have low expectations for XF but not for AI which has gone down the tube years ago... And how the hell isEmblem3 was high up over Fifth Harmony and Lyric145. This past episode was just extremely messed up.
^Wow, I've never seen anyone dislike Carly Rose. I don't even like her that much (I think she's too mature and sort of boring), but I think she's the frontrunner of this competition. She's probably the best vocally. But, should she win, I don't know what producers would do with her. No matter how great a kid/young teen is, they'll find it hard doing anything outside of Disney/Nickelodeon.
The best vocally? Are you dreaming? Once again Diamond and CeCe are the best vocally. I can't believe you just said that. Arin did good tonight. Lyric145 was okay. Fifth Harmony was alright. Tate was good too but he and Carly do not deserve to be in the lead. If Carly, Tate and Emblem3 place high tomorrow night I will call bull**** on this competition. Paige was nice. And Beatrice song choice was fantastic but she did nothing with it. Still I think I like her better than Carly Rose that is if I had to choose. That Yolo cap has to go. I hate that saying.

And yeah I think Beatrice will knock Carly down a size or two myself. lol.
I disagree with you. Diamond has no control over her voice and CeCe is always off-key. I also wouldn't be surprised if Beatrice goes home tomorrow.
What the hell? Are you kidding me? Diamond has proven time and time again that she does in fact have control and range. So what are you talking about?

And not to mention it's up to America to make that decision so. I can't believe you honestly think Carly is good.

Nostalgic, no hard feelings, but you must be living in a dream world or you are just trolling (but I do like Diamond). Wow, that show had some serious battles. What Britney said about Simon's team was harsh, but it got taken to a different level when it came to CeCe. Honestly, I felt bad for the girl. This was her time to shine and close the show, but it didn't happen. What's worse is she looked so excited and happy to hear what L.A had to say. But then it just went sour. I liked her pre-live shows (when most people hated her), and now I'm just cringing whenever the judges give their opinions on her. She's trying so hard, but she's failing so miserably. It's pretty sad at this point. My bottom 3 (I think it's pretty obvious who did the worst): - Arin Ray (Disliked him since he initially got Diamond sent home. This performance was bad and he exhibited his inability to deliver as a real vocalist. Also, I liked how Simon pointed out the fakeness of that intro. That was horrible.) - Lyric 145 (I was disappointed when they didn't go the real rap/hip-hop route, but I was at least entertained by them. This performance was all around horrible. I wouldn't too sad to see them go, they aren't being who I thought they'd be) - CeCe Frey (Three strikes and you're out. Honestly, she hit that first high note well, but she couldn't control it and her vocals just fell apart. It made me cringe and it got even worse from there. I wonder how things would have played out if Jillian Jensen was chosen instead). Tomorrow's going to be interesting, because those three all have easy reasons to go home (and I think it'd be a travesty for anyone else to be considered). To whoever stays, great? But they'd still be at the bottom of the barrel.
Nostalgic, no hard feelings, but you must be living in a dream world or you are just trolling (but I do like Diamond).
Trolling, no. Dream world, no. Opinionated, yes. Don't flatter yourself. And yeah no hard feelings.
I really like Jennel, She has a lot of potential and I'd love to see her go far. I'm not a fan of Paige, she probably should be one of the two leaving tomorrow. I really hated Cece's last two performances, but I loved her tonight! I think she was so good!! Tate is always going to be good, I honestly can't imagine him having a bad performance because he's just got natural talent. He has a pretty generic country voice though, and I can't really see him stepping too far out of his box. I don't even remember what song Vino did, so that says it all. Lyric145 was good, but they're just so all over the place. I can't tell if that's them as artists, or if it's being forced on them. Tonight was by far Emblem 3's best performance. The parts where they were all singing together were actually very good! They may not have the best voices, but they have that "x factor" that makes them fun to watch. 5th Harmony are really good, but they'd been boring me the past couple weeks. Tonight, however, they caught my attention and I loved it! I wish they would do something more young and fun though. Throw them some Spice Girls or something, lol! I think Diamond is great. Is she perfect? No, but I don't care. The girl is lovable and has a great voice. Arin hasn't been so great. I'll be surprised if he stays. I love Beatrice's raspiness, but she hasn't wowed me lately. Carley Rose absolutely is just amazing. She was by far the best tonight. By far
I haven't been so pissed at a tv show since Janelle(ironic, right?) went home on BB14. I'm convinced Simon sent Jennel home because he knew she was the only good one on Demi's team.
So, Lyric 145 goes home. No biggie, they did pretty horribly. Shocking bottom two, though. I really thought it was going to be Arin and CeCe, but in retrospect- the ones who get the worst feedback from the judges end up getting a lot of support. I'm not too sad that Jennel went home, I've found her pretty boring to be honest. But it's too bad that she seemed to be going back to who she was and then got eliminated. I hope this teaches Demi to do better with her contestants. EDIT after the rankings: Some of it made me happy, some of it bothered me. Arin's at the bottom again, awesome. But, jeez, I don't want to watch Tate Stevens for the rest of the season. I really don't. I skip all his performances. I didn't even want him to go to the live shows (go Tara). But Country-lovin' America probably won't be silenced.
I must have missed Lyric145 getting eliminated? Was it double eliminations tonight?
I must have missed Lyric145 getting eliminated? Was it double eliminations tonight?
Yeah, they had the lowest votes so they were automatically sent home early in the episode.
