I must have missed Lyric145 getting eliminated? Was it double eliminations tonight?
Wondering the same thing....
Sad that Jennell went home I was hoping Arin would be the second one eliminated oh well.
Im pissed as well. This is ****ery going on. Lyric145/Jenelle going home and Tate Stevens and Carly Rose once again number 1 and 2?? No way this should be happening.
So, Lyric 145 goes home. No biggie, they did pretty horribly. Shocking bottom two, though. I really thought it was going to be Arin and CeCe, but in retrospect- the ones who get the worst feedback from the judges end up getting a lot of support. I'm not too sad that Jennel went home, I've found her pretty boring to be honest. But it's too bad that she seemed to be going back to who she was and then got eliminated. I hope this teaches Demi to do better with her contestants. EDIT after the rankings: Some of it made me happy, some of it bothered me. Arin's at the bottom again, awesome. But, jeez, I don't want to watch Tate Stevens for the rest of the season. I really don't. I skip all his performances. I didn't even want him to go to the live shows (go Tara). But Country-lovin' America probably won't be silenced.
Once again Tara sucked and had an extremely *****y attitude towards LA. Also Arin was good last night.
Jennell out its a shame,I thought it was going to be arin/CeCe, I am not feeling CeCe Idk why she was great on the auditions and bootcamp, but now it seems that all her cockiness is gone or maybe its bc of demi. Glad carly is on the top she and diamond are my favs to win this year.

Jenelle was amazing and i loved how she went 2004 with the Spider Man song. Good choice
Very sad to see those 2 acts go last night, both had great potential and never really got the chance to shine on the Live Shows. But on the other hand I was glad to see Paige win the sing off, she definitely deserved that.
I don't see why people are upset Lyric145 went home. They weren't a good act vocally and it's a singing competition. They were different, bit imo not in a good way. I am mad Jennel went home though. Producers and the mentors have been shoving Paige down our throats as if she's the best thing ever, but I think she's awful. It should surprise me that the three most boring/generic acts are the top 3, but seeing who has won AI the past 4 years, who won x factor and the voice, nobody should be surprised.
At this point I'm rooting for Diamond and 5th Harmony since Jennell is no longer there.

Tate & Carly were #1 #2 again because America agrees with me. If Simon wants this show to be successful, he needs to have simple vocal performances, and make it about the talent! Not gimmicks, or crazy production. It seems forced, swallows up most of the contestants, at times looks cheap, and manufactured. The show isn't connecting with the American public, because there's no soul, or artistic integrity. X Factor ratings are really low, and they're nowhere near Idols ratings. Simon needs to open his eyes, see why Carly & Tate are #1 & #2 again, and make this show about THE TALENT!!

I love Britney but she is a terrible judge all she says is "I love you" "I like you" and overall pretty much says like 3 words on her critique.
I love Britney but she is a terrible judge all she says is "I love you" "I like you" and overall pretty much says like 3 words on her critique.
Sorry but that does not make her a terrible judge. Nobody wants to here a rant when it comes to singing competitions. Her critique is short, sweet and simple.
Sorry but that does not make her a terrible judge. Nobody wants to here a rant when it comes to singing competitions.
It's actually does make her a terrible judge. What's the point of being there if she isn't going to say anything useful?
You can't be serious? Everything she is saying IS useful. I am beginning to think you guys are just finding fault with the show just to doing it.
You can't be serious? Everything she is saying IS useful. I am beginning to think you guys are just finding fault with the show just to doing it.
Someone documented Britney's quotes from the first live show to show how pointless and nonsensical they were: “You were amazing. You completely surprised me. I was not expecting that and I felt you. It was amazing.” - after David Correy (Amazing - twice) “I thought it was very interesting. I thought you guys - I wasn’t expecting that, and I felt like you really delivered. You had a great performance and I think you were stunning.” - after Sister C (I guess she wasn't expecting that either, even though they sang a song they previously did) “You impressed me so much. I am so incredibly proud of you and I’m, you were amazing.” after Diamond White “I feel like you wow me every time you perform. Every time I see you I’m just like 'I know you get the girls, you get me' and I think you’re amazing.” - after Tate Stevens (What?) “I disagree. I think you are a true star. You are amazing. You are the best and I loved it. It was great.” - after Beatrice Miller (How many times can she say that it was a good performance?) “I felt your vocals were amazing and you did a great, great job.” - after Carly Rose (Amazing!) She said amazing 10 times that night. I'm not sure how those comments are useful. She's gotten better, but I wouldn't call her comments particularly useful.
Please tell me which mentors comments are useful
Please tell me which mentors comments are useful
No thanks. Seriously though if none of them were useful would this show really be on. And so damn what if she said amazing 10 times that night. What's the problem?
You can't be serious? Everything she is saying IS useful. I am beginning to think you guys are just finding fault with the show just to doing it.
I have been a Britney fan since her first album, been to every concert, bought every CD but she is a probably the worst judge from any reality show. She gets $15 to add nothing to the show. She says the word amazing about a million times and that's it. She provides to useful feedback and doesn't engage with the contestants. She has NO chemistry with the other judges, pretty much because she's in her own world. I understand trying to defend her because you're a fan but there is no defending her. Kinda like if my mom was the Quarterback for the Denver Broncos, I would like to support her but she would suck and even though I love her I couldn't root for her.

Yeah you guys are definetly reaching. Last season it was with Steve now its either Khloe or Britney slamming, lmao. Make up your minds will ya, xD. 3) Amazing? Are we watching the show for the talent or judges? Be serious. 4) I think you meant interact not engage. She isn't loose, lmao. 5) No chemistry? So you seen every audition or show? Also who the hell says she's obligated to interact with them. That's just sad. 6) As for the rest I stopped reading, no offense. Only because I hate the Broncos, :P

However, she deserves only $15.00 for her poor performance. 2) Steve sucked, that's why he was fired. Khloe sucks. Britney sucks. That is why people are saying that.... 3) I am watching for the entire experience of the show, the judges play a big part. Britney just saying amazing over and over rarely adding anything else is boring television. 4) Here is the webster definition of engage along with an example "1. to occupy the attention or efforts of (a person or persons): He engaged her in conversation." Interact is a synonym that also works. 5) I have seen every episode, she has no chemistry and it is uncomfortable to watch. The talent on The Voice is way worse than the X Factor, but the chemistry of the judges is what makes the show so much more successful. 6) Ok.
I just find the whole show ridiculous, most performances are so over the top. Especially now, with it coming out that the producers choose the songs for the contestants, not the mentors. Even when contestants do not want to sing certain songs they have to. Beatrice was very upset this week and wanted to sing some Alannis Morisette. The mentors barely meet with them at all. I know other shows screw the contestants with limited song choices, but this show doesn't even give you a choice.

Majority of the contestants hated the songs the producers picked for them this week. Jannel in particular, and the producers changed Lyric 466378 song at the last minute. The don't get fair critique because the judges are so competitive for "their" team to win. The show is a complete failure and disaster this season.

You know, I used to feel the same way some of you do about the show (just look at my past comments) but I've warmed up to it. My opinions have kind of been a rollercoaster actually: Auditions (hated it, I thought it was overproduced); boot camp (more interesting, though the CeCe vs. Paige theme was annoying); judge's homes (loved it, felt like it was supposed to); first live show (hated it more than anything; they took each contestant and molded him/her into some gross-commercial/marketable beast); other live shows (liking it). I think things are getting better week by week. Britney's saying different things and more important things (I definitely don't think she was worth all the money they had to pay her), Khloe's getting more comfortable (and she can never be as bad as Steve), and some of the contestant's are singing the songs they should be singing. --- On The X-Factor and The Voice It's interesting that The Voice and The X-Factor are sort of competing, because they have a very similar set-up with one, striking key difference. Both have judges from the music industry, both have teams, and both had a similar format (auditions, singing in front of other contestants, sing-off, live show). But the big difference is seen in the name - one's looking for the star, one's looking for the voice. From the first live show, I thought XF was superficial and annoying and TV was looking for real musicians. But, now I'm realizing that TV is extremely boring in comparison XF and I don't care about TV's contestants. It's sort of sad that XF is losing in ratings, because the show has clearly tried very hard to be appealing.
Tomorrow's going to be interesting because it's Thanksgiving weeks. Sounds like it's going to be all slow songs/ballads. So there's no hiding bad singing ability. See ya, Arin. (But it's sad that Beatrice will have to do yet another slow song)

He ranked high last week or was the first person whose ranking was revealed rather so I doubt he'll be going home nor is he a bad singer. Hopefully Beatrice and Carley and Tate pull an Xfactor UK and go home because of their attitudes (like Jade did this season) and they bring back both Jenelle and Lyric 145.

12 people you brought it up because the majority of people say that? If Steve was so great why was he fired? Also I am not hating just to be mean, the are facts. I have seen Steve in interviews he is funny and charming. The set up of the show may have caused him to come off as robotic I don't know but he wasn't good. I will admit, I am not a fan of the Kardashian clan. Just a preference, Khloe however is the most likeable of the bunch and I was hoping without a staged reality show and annoying family she would be good and maybe with time she will be. She's new at this and hasn't gotten the hang of it but I do like her effort. I am glad you agreed with the rest of my opinions though.
