Also I don't get what bridges Wes burned last season. He didn't really betray anyone so don't know why everyone from last season was so butthurt by him besides people he had person issues with (Bear, Day, Georgia).

The real tea is Wes didn't want to be away from his business's for another 2 months. After signing a 2 season deal and making it to the finals of one (plus 50k) there was no incentive for him to get far this season so he came in, probably stirred the pot a bit, got his appearance fee and bounced.
