The real tea is Wes didn't want to be away from his business's for another 2 months. After signing a 2 season deal and making it to the finals of one (plus 50k) there was no incentive for him to get far this season so he came in, probably stirred the pot a bit, got his appearance fee and bounced.
Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked if he pulled an Abram on The Island, a Diem on The Ruins, a Karamo/Beth on The Inferno 2, a Jisela on G2...the list goes on and on.
And I would be less shock if he lost like he did on exes 1/Seasons 2.
Well on Seasons he was paired with Lacey so...
But, yeah, could be a repeat of Exes for sure when Mandi pulled her weight and he flopped....that wouldn't shock me at all either. With Wes anything is possible--pretty much always has been

Over played? Watch somebody tragic like Rogan or Josh be the one to beat him in elimination.
I hope it's not an edit where literally everyone on the cast is just shitting on him like the ruins but if it is I won't be surprised.
I think it's sad that Wes gets this reputation and rookies and certain people come along just ***ume he's a ******* or they just go along with the hype because they want to be with the cool kids or go far with Bananas. We see he can be loyal to those he agrees to align with or look out for like Hunter and Nany but I think from his first challenge ever his back was against the wall and his only choice was to manipulate in order to survive. Him getting as far as he did in Australia made Evan and Kenny SUPER SALTY and they always planned on getting him out the next challenge he was on. The ruins pushed him further against a wall, and we got more of a *******/mastermind Wes edit over the years (Wes has always known this is a show and how to play up a role or character). Over the years he got the reputation and somewhat relished it, not helping him.
I love Wes but it would honestly be smarter to keep him because he's beatable in a final. But if he gets power you might be screwed too, so I see that. Im already about to throw up with this image of Jordan smiling when he will never get respect for being so far up Bananas' ***. Jordan learned from Wes' mistakes imo and knew long term he needed friends. Hopefully he went out fighting.
Congrats on a good run last season to the single overall greatest cast member to ever be on this show, he deserves a round of applause.

I didnt know Lacey had anything to do with him losing his rounds against big easy or being target because everyone knew about his snake reputation which very likely has to do with him being out early once again

Wes isn't the mastermind or manipulator that he's given credit/blamed for being. Wes understand where he stands and does what he needs to do to protect himself. Don't forget--he sacrificed Danny, CJ & Landon when he was working with them on FM2. But, yeah, WOTW was his best political season and he deserves a ton of credit.

We agree on his reputation. He deserves what he gets--he's untrustworthy. Hall Brawl against Big Easy really isn't something anyone would want to do IMO. I honestly don't even remember that whole thing since it was about 7 years ago and I only watched that season once but we can say he flopped on Seasons too...that's fine
Wes protests too much, you don’t have to be like “ahh I’m so smart all these people are so dumb, I played them blah blah” every time the producer says play it up.
Even his “ally” Hunter he was just unnecessarily pompous about the Hunter/Georgia meeting. He does the most and got what he deserved. Aww
Just so everyone knows Wes signed a two season contract with MTV. He had to show up to this challenge and he left on purpose whatever he says on the confessionals. He was there to push the cast forward. I would be surprised to see Wes again.
Ask punk if you don’t believe me. I told her and I believe this thread he will be second or third out.

There's so many incredibly dumb people that if someone has any kind of intelligence they're portrayed as a genius.

Well he got more of a scum bag reputation rather than mastermind in his early days because he was always going behind people’s backs trying to make deals (even from Day 1, trying to get Shane and Linette throw in to protect himself). It didn’t matter anyway because he was going in regardless. His moves didn’t really earn him that conniving but respected for its ingenuity reputation until his later seasons. You’re right he’s really not but Wes knows how to play a character or spin an edit on these shows.
Yeah FM2 was definitely one of his worst seasons for that reason, it’s hard to watch. I know he has more loyalty and honor deep down, but from day 1 he realized you have to have a kill or be killed mentality and knows how stupid it is to go into elims.

the same can be said for multiple people. But some of y'all don't see that and just wanna believe they got beat. There are a few on each season who just go for the appearance fee or to fulfill a contract
You are correct but I am aware of when some are leaving on purpose. Zach was one last season. Diem on the ruins, Abe a few times, Veronica. I was specifically told Wes would leave 2nd or 3rd this season.

Lol some people will say anything to cover up a loss for their favorite. When will people learn on here. Anyone is beatable in an elimination. Especially the more you go in. That goes for CT, Turbo, Theo, Bananas, Jordan, Paulie & anyone else people want to hype up.

I hope Bear is the reason Wes is out that would be the icing on the cake for me
I just knew Wes would be out early though. He created way too many problems for himself last season.
I would lol @ this.
amanda is trash. short enough

Veronica? When did that happen?
*Steps back in*
Ughh Queen Faith was robbed, bye bye Wes.
Bananas is about to turn 37 and CT turns 39 in July.
Can they retire already?
Does anybody actually care what ridiculous excuse there is for why someone “didn’t give it there all”. They’re gone they lost we don’t care
It is a chance that Wes didn't plan on staying long, but there's also a chance that he got ****** up in elimination.

why would you retire when your making bank. most humans have to work until 65
