The Challenge: Total Chaos - Dee Nguyen controversy

This is when the show starts to decline. They did this just for clout and to look good. What about the other cast members who have done and said worse on TV! Zach? Jordan?

They shouldn't ban anyone for anything in the past. U put ur foot down here and going forward. Ppl grow n change enough w the digging up ppls past and trying to get ppl in trouble. This is like a middle school in here

If MTV only did Dee that argument would have a bit of substance but firing Taylor has opened up Pandora's Box.

I remember around the time that episode aired, both Vince and Nicole (Nany's cousin) claimed on Instagram that Vince actually called Devin "Simone" because "he's a camera *****" or something, but the edit made it look like he said that to Cheyenne. Does anyone on the spoiler team know if that's true or if they were just lying?

Either way, it doesn't erase the fact that he called her "Chantel" and "Shauvon".

Agreed and all this energy and effort they are putting on making Dee their scapegoat needs to be used just the same if they "care so much"

It's lit

So apparently MTV met with Cory and Jordan to discuss their future with the show.. any truth to that?

why cory? what did he do?

**** at gamer calling devin a BOSS, oh how times have changed

Getting rid of Taylor publically actually did them a lot of harm, they have to now go into the archives and address anything given attention to them. Taylor's tweets didn't even gain much traction outside the MTV fan bubble.

meaning if a few fans get the threads of John and Jordan going **** Bear, Rogan too they need to be fired or else they look dumb and risk being made a laughing stock.

Rogan quoted a movie **** hardly a fireable offense compared to the others

I agree firing Taylor open the doors for everyone to be fired since it was over old tweets and old actions before all this not like Dee that were in present time.

But It's not just the challenge the entire casts of Teen Mom OG/teen mom 2 got exposed of having very controversial tweets on their past (Most of them have gone more viral than the challenge ones especially the Kailyn ones) after the whole Taylor firing except for like 3 dads, Mattie/Kortni from floribama shore & I also saw the Alex guy from Siesta Key being exposed.

In reality they are not going to be firing all of those "big names" from different shows from their network. With that being said like I say a few days ago I see Bananas announcing his "retirement" at the reunion or taking a few off.

I mean to be fair, Taylor's tweets were REALLY bad if I remember.

Ninja and a few others would seem to be in hot water. ****, even Cheyenne has some tweets that while not anti-black were very bad.

Jordan was really bad too. The "monkey n-word" comment and the gorilla noises? Yikes...

Abe is the best example...he changed.

But i still want Bananas head for many reasons...

They cover his back for years

Ninja 10 yrs ago vs Mattie 5 years ago makes a difference for me

Weren't Taylor's 8 years ago. I don't think 2 extra years matters to MTV

They should've stopped with Dee honestly. They thought they did something by also firing Taylor when they come off as hypocritical and fake by not having everyone else accountable.

right, they're not getting out of this good. They're going to look like a joke

Both taylor & Ninja were 17 which I can see how 25 & 28 year old women can change. Although Mattie being 25/26 is not excusable

You can tell all folks know is these **** reality shows & haven't learned SHIT outside of whatever curriculum they used for their now mostly useless degrees (outside of essential workers who needed it) & haven't bothered to research or question things outside of the Tell-Lies-to-your-Vision box that millions have in their house; programming their minds daily.

Not only is Blackface a thing in the UK, it's pretty much embedded in European culture with Sinterklaas & "Black Pete", The Morris Dancers, etc. now whether they're doing it as a racial thing or whether they're "paying homage" to my Moorish ancestors; the fact is that Georgia was old enough & definitely aware enough to know what she was doing. She would've been better off just explaining it all instead of playing dumb & being a punk; she was aware of the practice just as a lot of UK Caucasian population (extending to the rest of Europe) are aware.

Ok but on the flip side of the coin, does Georgia really strike you as educated or aware? lol

It's prevalent enough in Europe to where I know she's seen at least a couple other people do this same thing or she's seen the various statues, pictures, etc. I remember one of those English princesses came under fire for wearing a Blackamoor brooch to Queen Elizardbeth's Christmas dinner a few years back. Now whether it was on a racist tip or she was paying homage, who knows but saying all that to say Blackface & blackface depictions are definitely known & visible in the UK; possibly even moreso than here. There's some other UK/European festival where a bunch of people all don Blackface but it's not coming to me right now.

You're talking about Zwarte Piet (translation Black Piet) in The Netherlands. I live there. The festival or holiday is called 'Sinterklaas'. It's actually disgusting people here act like it's normal. I've been in so many fights with Dutch people over this. They don't get it and they don't want to change it.

17 is pretty young. I'm surprised they did that. They really have shot themselves in the foot though because you know they're not going to start firing everyone and then they'll look like ***** for doing it to some but excusing others.

Seems like they didn't really sit down and think this through per usual.

Mattie needs to go to rehab over anything

They definitely called her more than just Chantel if I remember correctly

what else? I'm sure it was edited out to protect the golden boy

Chavaun and Simone

I don't recall the other two names.

 They're cancelling Jordan ?

There is lots of stuff out there now, and I don't know much about the teen mom stuff but can someone confirm this if it's real or not: someone said that Taylor and Cheyenne had talked about Taylor's pasts beliefes and stuff she would say online on the first season they were on Teen Mom and were cool after and Taylor said she's grown and doesn't believe them and now she's been fired for them.  Did that actually happen or is that random hearsay? It's very difficult to keep up with everything now lol so I'm just curious

If I'm wrong please correct me then, but that seems like a huge double standard to use it as a storyline then fire her for it down the line and not at the time.  They could have easily fired someone else instead to make a point.  Has Cheyenne or Cory said anything yet?
