Aight so if they're talking and a black kid says he doesn't find white girls attractive would that be racist?
No; That would be prejudice, not racism. Check up the definitions of both words to understand the difference, if you wish. There are some great articles out there discussing the meanings of both words.
Either way, though-- it is very ignorant to say that you would never date an entire race of people, or to say that you don't find people of other races to be attractive. There are ugly people in every part of this world, and there are pretty people in every part of this world. Skin color does not equal beauty. And ignorance is UGLY!
it's racist if you use a black pen or white-out. It's not acceptable for anyone to use these things. Red pens also represent the blood of black people and blue pens represent the blood of white people.
How could having a sexual preference be ignorant? What would you even say to a person who said they found White/Black etc, girls more attractive and tended to go after them? "You aren't sophisticated in the ways of liking East Asian girls bro don't be ignorant lol what?".
What you asked was would it be racist if a person said they didn't find a particular race attractive. That is ignorant because you would be basically saying all blacks for example are ugly. If you are only saying you would date a particular race that is still ignorant in my opinion because you are going off of skin color and overlooking every other characteristic about that person.

That's not even a legitimate argument, sexual attraction isn't a social construct it's a natural reaction to what you want but okay.

I know the difference between racism and prejudice, I'm just using it in the context of people who don't. So I can try to understand their stupidity. I'm still lost as to how saying you don't on average find a certain group of people attractive. Is it prejudice to be a man and say you don't find men attractive?
I never log in or comment & usually just lurk but I just noticed The Shit They Should Have Shown coming up on my DVR meaning the season is almost over. .... *** like nothing has happened! This season has been SOOO zzzzzz- I've been waiting for SOMETHING interesting to happen but.... guess not!
Like for real- this season should have opened with "This is the extremely boring and pointless story of 7 strangers (and a person each of them have mild beef with or were once slightly annoyed by) picked to live in a house and have their lives taped. Find out what happens when they continue being polite the whole **** time. The Real World."
This season really has been a snooze, like aside for Mike and Peter I genuinely like everyone on the house, but they just don't mesh well together. Real World really is dead tbh

This comment doesn't even make sense nor does it have anything to do with the original question you asked. However, this is getting off topic so I'm ending this conversation because I don't see what it has to do with this season.
I'm enjoying this season, yes it's not full of drama & fights like I thought it would be but I actually really enjoy the cast (aside from Katrina & Mike)

You're just wrong in saying its ignorant to say you on average don't find a certain race attractive but okay

If you believe you can't find at least one person in a particular race attractive you're a racist who's in denial which is the equivalent of ignorant. Thinking someone is attractive doesn't mean you have to date them so maybe that's where you're confused at.
I honestly don't know what the show is supposed to be or what people expect out of it anymore **** I feel like this is one of the very last REAL reality shows left but people have gotten spoiled from BGC (another one of the real ones but it's consistent fighting) & then all the "reality" shit like Love & Hip Hop/Basketball Wives/Real Housewives.
The only thing I think they could've done better was put them in Atlanta, Houston or a more party-going city. This cast had no business in Seattle of all places.
The problem is there are too many people in my opinion and the twists are dull so maybe it's time to go back to the original format, cast stronger personalities, and promote the show better. If MTV doesn't renew the show I pray VH1 snags it and reinvent it like they did ANTM. Putting this show behind Love & Hip Hop would definitely revive it.

The bolded is the MAIN issue IMO. At this point I think if they go back to the original format, they'll basically be admitting that the show is failing & they may as well pull the plug. It's all the producers/MTV's fault though, I don't even blame the casts and the people these producers pick.
What would VH1 getting it mean for The Challenge though?

I feel like people expect it to be what it was from the beginning..about a group of people who are real and go through real things and don't just party and **** each other all day. People want real issues and shit like that to be at the forefront.
But what people don't get is that this show is not gonna be what it was in the 90's. It hasn't been like that for the LONGEST time now. Modern-Day Real World is just another reality show centered around drama and bullshit and that won't change.
But I do think that what you said about BGC has merit though..people got used to the constant fighting and drama of BGC and Real-Houswife type shows and now only want that shit 24/7. Granted RTV is built around drama but it doesn't need to be a wall-to-all shitstorm.

if the mods lock this thread that would be great. gonna leave until we get back on topic.
Lmaoooooo @ all of this.
And Mickey it's really not that serious to want them to lock the thread. I think it's an interesting topic if anything.
True... I hope Tyara went out with a bang and not with a lackluster exit like mike. I hope theo is kicked out for the brawl with kass next week
DEAD
Tya vs Anika and then Tya leaves because she doesn't wanna beat her *** ala Kandy vs Talone
Doubt it lol
I'm the only one but I find Peter pretty hot; those thighs wow <3

This season is is currently a little bit above GBOGH, but a little bit below toilet water tbh.
