Also, I disagree with Darrell being in the top 3.
...how? Darrell has more wins than anyone else ever. Plus he prob would of won the Ruins had he not hit Brad.

This is not the place for that discussion.
(Something else I found funny, I like how he said Landon doesn't traditionally have an alliance, I'm gonna help him make moves to get farther in this game.....um dude, at that point Landon and you did the same previous amount of challenges and the dude did better than you in his first 3 than your first 3).
Wes never said, "I'm gonna help Landon get further." If you watch the episode, he said something like "Is Landon just gonna take the easy way and pick the team that did the worst that day or is he gonna make a decision that's going to get him a lot further."
And just to keep this argument going, I think its fair to say that Wes was better on Fresh Meat and The Duel, than he was on The Ruins and Fresh Meat II. I would bet you that if Wes didn't take such a long absence, he would still be the same Wes that we saw in the Duel. Imagine if Wes had been on the Gauntlet III, he would probably be friends with Evan, Kenny, and Johnny, and the Ruins wouldn't have been so hard on him. Obviously because he made it to the end of his first two, but at the same time, Wes won The Duel, which I think had way harder of a cast then The Duel 2 did, and Landon didn't even make it to the end.
Landon won a duel against Isaac, but if you look at the cast, you knew who the last couple guys were gonna be, there were too many people to spare (ex: the first 8 eliminated guys). Landon was also in the alliance that ran the game.
Wes on the other hand, was in the outcast alliance, he wasn't friends with a lot of people, he was the underdog all the way through, and he won.
How can you say the duel cast was tougher than the duel 2? It had the same top dogs Brad, Evan, CT plus tough players like Mark, MJ, and Landon. Also Landons loss on the duel 2 was similar to that of CT's. I think Wes is a good competitor but you make it sound like he is better than Landon who has dominated or won every challenge he has been on. On a side note Evan on the duel said his only threat is CT on the duel 2 he said his only threat was Landon, no mention of Wes.

Why would he mention Wes on The Duel 2?

I think Wes just lost his desire to compete and elected to play political games instead. On the first two challenges he was on, he had nobody but himself so he had to go in and just win. Now he would rather screw people over without expending any energy. I really miss the old Wes. Now he's just the guy who talks big but doesn't do anything.
Why would he mention Wes on The Duel 2?
I was saying Evan didnt see Wes as a threat on the duel he said CT was and he said Landon was on the duel 2. Comparing Landon and Wes.
Again, Wes was not on his own. I don't know why you keep saying "he wasn't a strong team." as if he was his own team. They dq'ed/lost a lot of missions because Casey quit, or did not do well. And again, if they were that weak of a team they would have been gone a lot sooner.
He was forced to throw challenges because if the champions won they would keep throwing him in the Ruins. Even if he played the game straight up he would have been thrown in. In fact, he did play the game straight up after the first mission and he still went in 2 more times.
Again, you are holding him up to higher standards than anyone else because he's cocky. He got "smoked" in an untying a knot challenge with 20+ people helping out his opponent. **** near anyone would lose to Cohutta in that situation.
You cannot say it was between Wes & Luke when Luke had the luxury of having to carry less weight than his female partner while Wes carried all of his teams weight at one point.
That challenge came down to weight. When you are outweighed it takes a lot more energy than it does for a team with a weight advantage.
Well you take his cockiness a lot more personal than I do. Cockiness does not factor in to how I rank a competitor.
He didn't really look like a "schlub" in that challenge. He actually grabbed on to the zip line, which very few people were able to do on that challenge.
Also, I disagree with Darrell being in the top 3.
Winning challenges a lot of the time comes down to alliances/teams, and luck. There are plenty of people with better track records than CT, but that doesn't stop him from being a better competitor than almost everyone.
Ok not to keep going in circles... but in no way was he FORCED to do anything like he did at the begining of ruins. if anything the perogotive WAS on him to go in and prove himself, he was the least experienced male champion ( this being that usually on these shows the least experienced players go in first), regardless of personal history. also im sure him with his temper tantrums, and calling evan a coward did not help his standing on the team.
Wes's abilities as a competitor in this competiton are above average, his elimiantion record, and win of the duel (imo the most stacked field ever) are a testament to that, but his horrible personality (demonstrated by the fact VERY FEW people like him on these shows)and his inflated ego (more so than regular confidence or even slight cockiness) make him the most infuriating character to watch imo. Also his egotistic comments DO matter, because watching him not live up to them, makes it hard for me to take him seriosuly. If he were 4-0, instead of 1-3, hed be talking the talk and walking the walk.
-he doesn't live up to the hype
- he barely wins missions
- he has been eliminated by pretty average competitors
- he's unbearable
those are my feelings about wes.
p.s
Wes never said, "I'm gonna help Landon get further." If you watch the episode, he said something like "Is Landon just gonna take the easy way and pick the team that did the worst that day or is he gonna make a decision that's going to get him a lot further."
my point about that, is its comical to see wes talking about getting further in the game, when landon had the better track record, suggestinghe would understand how to get far already.
Clearly you have different views on what makes a good competitor than I do. I don't really take arrogance into consideration. I also think the amount of challenges won doesn't necessarily determine how good you are. Plenty of unimpressive competitors have won challenges, and plenty of good competitors have never won.
Evelyn said she had to carry more weight in exiles than Luke on the reunion.
Yes...in the LAST exile she had to. In the one against Wes, Luke carried the heavier bag. Luke and Wes had equal weight until Wes decided to grab Mandi's bag and go running off, and then subsequently burnt out (or just give up and make it look like he burned out). In any case, I think this exile had more to do with Evelyn solving the puzzle than anything else. Evelyn also said that Wes and Mandi's time on this Exile was still better than some of the other winners of that exile (I think Jill and Pete's, but I'm not sure), so they didn't show the time.

Currently watching The Ruins. Thanks for spoiling with your irrelevant post.
But Wes was CARRYING almost all the weight, so obviously she was going to be faster ;)
Uhh, Wes was carrying 60 lbs and Mandi was carrying 40 lbs, just like they and any other team that did that exile were supposed to. Was it explained otherwise on the reunion or something?

They don't show it, but apparently at one point Wes took Mandi's bag and was running with it for about fifteen minutes.
Don't you love the **** they don't show?

Something that aired almost two years ago cannot be considered a spoiler. That's your fault.

Correction then. Thank you (eagles28) for the irrelevant post.

Ah okay. I still don't think Mandi should be looked at as the weak one though because Wes pretty much gave up altogether.

I agree with that, CT prime example...bad girls winning though seems to be more the case than bad guys. i.e Ibis and Katie.
Wes is good, but his performance leaves a lot to be desired.
I get that a lot of people don't like Wes because of his ego but I find a lot of people like Kenny because of his ego. I think Wes is a good competitor and I want to see more of him Vs Ct.

A lot of people on the Challenge don't like Wes. Kenny, Derrick, Johnny, CT, Robin, Leroy, and more. He's like the male version of Beth. He's overrated and has a God complex. He's a megalomaniac. Look at the drivel that comes out of his mouth about his body. He's very delusional and pathetic.
He was also scared of CT that night they got into it. On Derrick podcast, Kenny said after Ct was done yelling at Wes, the next morning Wes woke Kenny up and said CT wants to kill me. He wanted Kenny to walk with him to the kitchen. Listen to the podcast yourself.
Also, I doubt that he's a millionaire. Look at the way he plays the game. Do you think he's any sort of a successful businessman? I hope his little business fails. I would love to see someone really kick his *** and hurt him really bad.

Hm, when did Beth have delusions of grandeur? From what I recall, she just didn't stick with the mob.

Ummm lol? You seem way to upset with someone you most likely have never meet and/or done anything terrible enough for that level of a response/wish against. It's a reality television show where people are often given character roles and personas from productions editing. There is usually no telling how these people act in real life and what their true personalities are from watching these shows. Yes there are some who act the same (ex. Paula and Abram... according to comments made by multiple cast members) but the vast majority of people act different when the cameras are on. This reality television environment is built to try and create drama and controversy by supplying volatile personalities and alcohol together. These individuals are encouraged to make outlandish comments for shock value in an attempt to drive up ratings and keep them coming back. Also you state how multiple cast members do not like Wes when the same could be said for almost any individual who is a main stay on these shows. Conflict keeps these individuals coming back and editing plays a major role into influencing the public's opinion of these individuals. My friendly advice is to try and not to let reality television generate so much anger in you. TV is supposed to be a source of entertainment and a stress relief (or at least it should imo). Life is too difficult to let such a petty thing burdened your mind or mood.
Also Cherrypie Beth's "delusions of grandeur" can be seen throughout her air time in the first duel challenge. Though to be fair, to her comments, some other cast members made encouraging remarks of the same nature (Nehemiah).

"To be fair," you appear to know little about Beth or The Duel. I suggest you research the appropriate history of The Duel that is available here at vevmo or at Beth's blogs about that season. The most telling comments at the time came from Jodi who said that no one wanted to go against Beth unless there were some event that began and ended with something involving heights and water, since Beth had previously exhibited a fear of being suspended over water. Wes and Kina expressed similar views at the time or subsequently.
Even though the comments he has made have gone way over the line and are pretty much annoying. Cant say hes not a good competitor the guy just won his 10th elimination round last night and idk how some of you say he is not a good competitor. When he out lasted The Duel 1 with guys like Derrick, Brad, C.T and Evan on it. Yeah C.T got screwed and etc. but Wes still beat him a win is a win and he got the job done. Not to mention he took out someone like Derrick who alot of castmembers consider to be tough and a machine in elimination rounds. You all need to stop hating on the Greek God hahaha he is hilarious with the comments he makes lol. Hopefully he wins a few more times so we all can hear more comments about his Greek God body bahaha.

Sick, really, really sick. It's just a TV show and the cast members are real people.
So?
Ever heard of somebody having a "show personality"? Do you really think Kenny walks around telling everyone how beautiful he is, or Johnny gets in so many arguments in real life? It seems to me that a lot of the guys (and some girls) don't necessarily change their personalities, but they just do certain things because they know a camera is on them. I think Wes is the same way. They want him to play up how he feels like a superior being.
I don't dislike any of the cast, just because they say outlandish things doesn't mean that they actually believe them. It's TV. They're here for our entertainment.
If you guys look closely, Brandon clearly won. He clear rung the bell 1st on the 1st round. That was unfair.
In order to win the first round, you and your partner had to beat the other team. If Ty had wrung the bell before Wes, they would have won. But instead, Wes got the bell before Ty so they moved into the second round. They were all aware of this when doing the elimination round.

Yeah, I just re-watched and TJ explained that. I was half-paying attention.
Wes did well and he's ******** hilarious. "I have a body carved by Zeus." ****
