From the way MTV showed it, Paula deserved it. Don't pick on someone if you have skeletons in your closet. In other words, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Bad analogy...
It is one thing to retort, it is another thing to "torch and burn" another human being and call it an equitable response.
Laurel attempts to destroy other people with her words. This isn't game play, it is who she is...
They make it interesting by giving the winner 2000 bucks. Duh! Haven't you seen any of the other episodes :-p
haha I somehow missed that.

They've DEFINITELY done something like this before, I just can't remember what it was exactly, but there was definitely at least one other mission in the history of the show where the girls had different things than the guys.
I don't thinking I'm thinking of the FM2 pull-up/chin-ups, but that might be it.
Paula has been a part of the Mean Girls with Jenn and Tyler so she DOES deserve it. They constantly pick and pick at Cara Maria and bully her for hours and days but a few minutes of a tongue lashing from Laurel and she's crying like a little *****. Deserved completely in my opinion.
Personally I think Laurel only called Paula anorexic just for the sake of insults, I think she would have said that to any of the other girls there. Aside from that, the rest was reasonable IMO.
I think Paula deserved what's coming to her, she has repeatedly bashed Cara Maria and got in the middle of arguments for no reason.
I love the she expected an apology from Laurel but didn't think she owed one to Cara Maria.
And Wes wow! It is absolutely disgusting for a grown-*** men to dump a bottle of coke onto a woman for no reason and then insult her.

The convoluted idea of "deserving" something amazes me.
There was a clear inequity of response. Paula was talking s***, Laurel was knee capping.
There is a difference.
I'm definitely Laurel in those situations. I will take the biggest insecurities of a person and use them against a person in a fight. It's just how we are.

So in other words, you are a person with lots of self confidence issues and thus need to attempt to make other people feel small so that you will have some sense of security with said inequities.
That's how I pegged you from the start! I think this is a great therapy session. :wink2:
