Why is it that I don't get road rage, I'm not an angry drunk I dont even hhardly get mad at sports. But tonight Marcus getting saved AGAIN over Rachel really angered me. Im out for season 2. Marcus should have been cut at top17.
Rachel should have been in the finals! Nicole was so scared to be the bad guy, that she came out being even more hated than she would've been if she'd have sent Marcus home!
The past 2 eliminations just makes me think that the age limit should be upped to 16+ , these kids are too young to handle the pressure of the competition. Rachel and Drew definitely should have stayed over Marcus! It makes me mad that Nicole just gave up, but L.A. shouldn't vote based on his team but on pure talent.
Something has got to be up with Nicole in Marcus, there is no way he should be saved 3 times in a row, its insanity. Drew and Rachel deserve to be in the final 4 right now. But you know, people were giving Drew crap a lot last week on the internet for how "poorly" she acted by crying so bad when she was eliminated, but Rachel was way more dramatic and they are the same age and people are acting as though it was okay for Rachel to react that way and not Drew. Double standards gah.
Marcus should have been cut at top17.
Replace Marcus with Drew and I'd agree. Marcus is a damn good singer he sung himself off in his safety songs and has redeemed himself each time. There's no hell in way he would be cut at Top 17. That's just a ridiculous and sad thought. As for Marcus being in the bottom 3, like I said it doesn't matter if he was there 3 times in a row or not he still did a damn good job. NGL, though I was suprised to see Rachel go but her Nothin' on You solo was off. Her second song however was good. Her swan song, not so much.
The past 2 eliminations just makes me think that the age limit should be upped to 16+ , these kids are too young to handle the pressure of the competition.
Gamer, sorry but I don't agree with that at all. The thing that separates this from other shows is its sometimes "originality". Setting the age limit at 16 would just elminate people who are just below or younger the standard age limit and interest.

Who wants to watch little children break down, it is not remotely fun and leaves you feeling horrible after watching the episode. Drew, Rachel and Astro when he was first in the bottom all displayed why young teens can not handle the pressure cooker of a reality show. It becomes way too life and death for them. However, no way they will raise the age limit because this I what the show wants nonstop bs watercooler drama.

I rather watch them break down (not that this makes me happy) than them having to kill each other in an upcoming trilogy that will remain nameless. And how do you know they can't handle the pressure? Until I hear from the 3 you mentioned above I would reserve judgement.

But Drew has had GREAT performance like Just a Dream and the Judges home. Marcus has yet to have a REALLY good performance and that's what will land him in the bottom two everyone single time until he leaves for good! Marcus is shaky and offkey for most of his performances and here's a though there's been 6 bottom two's so far Marcus has landed in 3 of them. The reason he keeps getting saved is because Marcus fans went ape s#$% voting for him because he was in the bottom two two weeks in a row so they voted crazy for him. And he went past Drew because the mentors wanted they're own acts to win not Simons so they did that out of pure spite. I'm 80% sure we will hear about Astro/Melanie/Rachel/Drew/Chris Rene and maybe even Josh Krajcik after this. Marcus won't be big. He's talented not unique like the other 8 contestants he's been against.
Marcus not going to be big? Drew kiling it with the Just A Dream Performance? Now I heard everything.
You don't think she did amazing on Just A Dream?! I don't think that Marcus has anything that really makes him stand out. His voice is average, but I will give him that he puts on an amazing show. If I had to guess I'd say that he'll fade away shortly after the show.
Why does America keep voting out the good acts? I don't get it. I can only imagine how much more hate Nicole will get now.
Marcus not going to be big? Drew kiling it with the Just A Dream Performance? Now I heard everything.
(Eye Rolls) Are you a Survivor Sucks poster? Because I think you would fit in great there.
Nah. Should I? Hell I'm not obessed with Survivor like talking about it like that...Plus that website has like 2 people on it.
I think TSPKM2 was trying to say you're a hater because everyone on Survivor Sucks talks crap on anything that's on that forum. lol Am I right?

I like watching a singing competition with adults not children crying hysterical when they lose. What does a movie have to do with this? Lost me there, why would they kill... Confused. I'm basing them not handling the pressure on their previous reactions to maybe being in the bottom 3. Rachel and Drew both cried every time they were potentially in the bottom and Astro when in the bottom the first time cried as well. I do not believe that is handling the pressure of show well at all.
I agree with the kids pressure issue. But they won't do that I guarantee it. With how much buzz Drew/Astro/Rachel made on the show if anything they would lower the limit.
It ain't over for former "X-Factor" contestant Rachel Crow -- TMZ has learned, Disney bigwigs are clamoring to sign the 13-year-old after her elimination last night ... and have already set up a meet-and-greet. A rep for Disney tells us, "Now that she has been eliminated off X-Factor, a general meeting is planned with her and Disney Channel executives soon." We're told Disney honchos want to go through a laundry list of possible opportunities for Rachel during the meeting -- including TV, movies, and radio. There is no date for the meeting -- but according to sources, it will likely be before the end of the month.
'X-Factor' Castoff Rachel Crow -- Meeting with Disney Honchos | TMZ.com
So we might get a Rachel Crow movie? Or Rachel Crow tv series? I think that would be good, she seems like she could be a good role model for kids. She could be like the new Raven Symone. I know I spelled that wrong.
Actually you spelled it right, lol... Disney is so gimmicky. I lost all hope for Rachel.
Sabotage! Why the hell did they give Canty a group number to sing. That was ****ed up. I'd like to give the fan/fans who recommended that a talking to. On another note, I loved how he got Paula and Nicole's name confused. Needless to say, Canty or Rene may be going home.
Melanie and Josh completely murdered the other two. I think Marcus is as fried as food at the fair. Chris who didn't do great either had a really sad story almost made me tear up which ofcourse if going to bump him in the final. I'll be SHOCKED SHOOOCCKED if Marcus doesn't go. Rankings: 1. Melanie 2. Josh 3. Chris Rene 4. Rachel Crow 5. Drew 6. Astro 7. Leroy Bell 8. Lakoda Rayne 9. Stereo Hoggz 10. Stacy Francis 11. Marcus Canty

Marcus should not have been given a group song. Thats what Stereo HOggz should've sang had they made it. As for your list there's so much wrong it I just can't deal with it rotfl. I mean you have Drew above Marcus and Stacy? That's foul. Real foul. Leroy should've been at the bottom of the list though because he was just cheesy. I don't really know what to make of him. Lakoda Rayne I'll be lenient with you because they were good towards the end of their stage. Rachel is so dramatic. I can't believe she already has a publicist other than being young. But the whole nice routine is aggravating. Therefore it still doesn't change her powerful vocals. I don't think chris' story was sad. I mean throughout all these competitions they get us with these sometimes pathetic (as Simon would say) sob story that they expect us to go ahead with a sympathy vote---or at least that's what is seems like. I'm not trying to fight with Chris or anything but let the singers sing---we don't need a sob story to make us relate to you.

Just sayin Marcus is not good to be in the top 4 or 7 for that matter. And I like Lakoda Rayne because they were pretty they were just average on liveshows. And Stacy Francis was GREAT preliveshows as soon as it went live she tanked hard. Drew is and was better than Marcus and Stacy. Leroy is cheesy but his save me song made me really like him.
Well it's finally done just 4 weeks overdue. But it's funny how many people wanted him off. The trending topics on twitter are "YAY Josh" "YAY Chris" "Bye Marcus" And Bye Marcus was trending before he was off the show. But I'm sure L.A. will sign Marcus can't be certain about how successful he will be but.. he'll get signed. So I guess that's nice right? I'm happy for the final 3 though. I think these 3 contestants had the best auditions this year.

Chris is not a "singer". He's more Hip-Hop Artist, if you need someone mainstream that he closely sounds like, I would probably say Nelly. 2. Chris and Astro both prove that the general America public that watches singing competitions aren't able to judge an MC or Hip-Hop Artist. It's not about being vocally amazing, it's about being relate-able, and being authentic so your charisma can shine at it's best. 3. Astro has the most followers on twitter out of any contestant on the show. He's much better off with Roc Nation than he would be winning this show. I don't see Melanie selling many records when she is a carbon copy of people who are already in the industry. I see Chris winning, though I'd prefer Josh, because like Idol, I don't expect the person's career from winning to last very long (less Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson), and despite the fact they are being signed to L.A. Reid's label.
I really wish this show would have been more diverse this year. I mean 7 out of 12 acts are either R/B or Hip hop. Chris Rene - Hiphop Astro - Hiphop Marcus - Both Stacy Francis - Not really R/B sort of Stereo Hoggz - Both Rachel - R/B Melanie - R/b Lakoda Rayne - Country InTENsity - Choir? Drew - Slow can't think of the name for it right now Josh - Rockish Leroy - Same as Drew Not saying I don't like Rachel and Melanie but I hope next season has more variety than this. I wanna see something DIFFERENT hence the Xfactor not anymore mini Usher's or mini any other celebrity we already have.
Well thats what people are buying now. Would a country or pop singer really last long?
Well thats what people are buying now. Would a country or pop singer really last long?
Pop singers like Lady Gaga? Katy Perry? Rihanna? Britney Spears? Yeah I have a feeling they would last. And not to sound like a ***** but they are different genres that are big too. There's a huge country following in the south with artists like Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan. Not really expecting you to know them though.
Yeah, if you look at American Idol, the finalists that end up with the best careers are country singers. I am sure if there was a country singer on X-factor, and a legit country singer; not Lakoda Rayne, they would last for awhile and sell decently when they got off the show.

I think it's also because it's mostly middle america that watches these talent shows and they love the country singers on there like Scotty and the runnerup of last years show. And middle America I guess loves country too so that's why they are big. Might be why not nearly as many people watch Xfactor as Idol is because of the limited genres. AI gets on average 20 million people, Xfactor on a good night gets a little over 10 million.
I'll honestly be extremely happy no matter who wins. I'm rooting for Chris though. Melanie has an AMAZING voice, but something about her just doesn't connect with me. Her accent that suddenly appeared halfway through the season is way suspect to me. I like Josh and he's a great artist, but I just don't think he has the "x factor" that makes him stand out. With Chris, his voice may not be the best, but I'd actually buy his stuff. It's a good blend of pop and hip hop.
