"we saw Zach overcome the smaller/quicker player strategy" So now it's an advantage being smaller in a strength game? Poor Zach, even being at a big disadvantage, he pulled a victory... Come on, he couldn't use his strength to stop CJ 3/5 times. Didn't he get flipped on is back from trying to stop CJ? It was embarrassing for him.
I'm sorry I don't buy that Trishelle is this big mastermind. How? I think she thinks she is. Vegas just looks like a mess because of her and Alton. What did attacking Sarah accomplish other than make her look stupid when Sarah did volunteer herself in AND win? I agree with what Chet said about Trishelle on the podcast. When she drinks she just gets ridiculous. And if Trishelle is manipulating people and being this big mastermind, why is she hating on Jonna's game and calling her greedy and manipulative, when she's doing the same thing to win? Oh I see with Trishelle it's playing the game, with Jonna she's just being manipulative because Jasmine volunteered herself. Yeah, she's not making any sense. And the biggest instance of the pot calling the kettle black is her calling Jonna trashy. This is the girl responsible for putting the trashy in the Real World. One of the trashiest stories I've ever heard involved Trishelle and Leonardo DiCaprio. I was excited to see Trishelle on this challenge, but I now think she's full of herself, washed up and rude. She used to be so sensitive to people saying the things she's now saying about Jonna. She's probably jealous because she used to be the girl in Jonna's place. That's why Mandi went off on her on a podcast too after Trishelle got catty about her on twitter. Anyway it sucks that Jasmine and CJ are gone. Loved Cancun. So I only have Robb and Marie to root for now.
Pause So first... Trishelle is great tv (way better than im a homeless *****) Trishelle isn't the only one that had harsh things to say about Jonna-Devyn"she's homeless because she's hoe-itic" and im sure there was more and hasher responses than that any ways Trishelle .. Joanna Two different people i doubt trishelle is jealous of Jonna's position with zach and on the show.. check the facts Trishelle already had that :) .. so lets drop that and to bring up a story that totally irrelevant and happened like 8 years ago is just silly what she does in her personal life has nothing to do with the game.. Trishelle is nice she just has more of an oppinion now which i think is great never let someone walk all over you .. I'm 19 years old ive been following trishelle since vegas and i really admire her she has done alot.. Mtv asked her back for a reason thank you very much.. She knows what makes good tv.. and obviously you can say what you want but i swear Trishelle gets 2nd place in this challege.. making it to the finale.. jonna was .. Trishelle also openly admitted to being wrong about sarah in her confessional on the show and now they are friends.. so lets move on from that also.. Also celebrity poker was trishelle's first televised poker match and she didnt until after that show become more interested in poker so.. yeah..a few years later winning second in a tournament worth 20,000.00 and playing poker all over the world.. soo.. umm so yeah.. I love trishelle i love that she's fiesty now and she is still really nice .. in real life but in this game and on this show not only are you there to win you are also there for good tv and like she said in her podcast this is a job shes there to make good tv and make her money.. trishelle isnt washhed up btw.. ... and Mandi who.. lol dont care... Team Trishelle! Keep kicking *** girl!
No, the better man is the winner, as Zach beat a shorter/quicker guy (naturally advantaged considering the dive strategy) with an in-game adjustment/agility and power WHEN it mattered. And you don't know that CJ was "just exhausted" at the end! He could've easily not wanted a hurdle repeat and half-ed it giving Zach finally enough of a grip (even more than the 1st run as he got under-hook/front headlock positioning) and the game became about power.
The numbers speak for themselves kid, CJ: 3 and Zach: 2. If Sam would have lost then CJ would have embarrassed Zach for life.
Also, the 1st rd had unquestionably poor officiating! How was CJ's double-leg takedown from behind not wrestling? Completely facing the wrong direction, he gripped and executed a move.
Come on now this is THE CHALLENGE, a game show not made for p***ies. I actually got mad when TJ yelled out "No Wrestling" of the point of this elimination round was supposed to be PHYSICAL.
Either you got a strong bias going or you gotta watch some sports
So you're telling me if Anderson Silva beats some hobo 2 round straight but the hobo guy gets Anderson Silva to dq which makes the Hobo win the match the Hobo is the better man? Or if Kobe makes 24 points in one game but Shawn Marion makes 3 but because his team won he's the better man? I could go on and on.
cuz that theory is as sound as the notion that Wes nearly beating Big Easy (in the 2nd round) because he had found some power. Just like Wes, the shorter/lighter competitor CJ, turned the game into a footrace. When he didn't (i.e the 1st & last runs) he got muscled.
But you still can't ignore the fact that CJ beat Zach 3 times in a row up to the point of exhaustion. There is not one man on the planet that can beat Zach 3 times in Hall Brawl and not feel a little exhausted. It's common sense, you should know that since you know so much about sports and what it takes to compete in them.

If this was a Duel or something he would be up and out of there and would never show his face again. I hope he doesn't go off this challenge with a big head thinking he was a beast.
Exactly - CJ used his speed, brains and his STRENGTH to beat Zach. Zach got embarrassed. If this was a Duel or something he would be up and out of there and would never show his face again. I hope he doesn't go off this challenge with a big head thinking he was a beast.
Yup. I mean you just had to enjoy that moment where he took down Zach by his legs and then the next round he flipped Zach over **** CJ IS A BEAST ! You would think that a guy like Zach would mow down these guys. CT on the other hand, whoa this guy would have gone apes*** and destroy Zito in the wrestling match and CJ in hall brawl. Did you guys see when Zach tried ripping off his under amour shirt but couldn't? ****

Spinning is harping 3/5 when that's not the game; he lost. I can name you plenty of boxers and wrestlers who won more rounds then lost in the end. "You play to win the game" :) Pushing the notion that a 2/5 performance is prophetic for the future matchups is invalid, cuz we saw Zach overcome the smaller/quicker player strategy. He'll either hurdle or catch enough of a grip to power a win. He discovered the big man strategy of Hall Brawl just in time. CT blind-side-t-bone-ing the eventual winners looked great, but it is what it is. If he did it head on, then it would really mean something as blowing out 2 unwitting ppl from the blind side is plainly expected for any decent football player. Zach not losing by alot in races to CJ is more impressive. Absolutely, Adam lost it for them, and I'll add that CT can't be blamed for the Helicopter pilot doing them dirty by flying so differently for him causing them to go into the elimination...as was the officiating in the 1st run of this arena as CJ clearly wrestled Zach from behind after getting pushed back to his entrance. Tyler, my fault. Unless the cast's post show accounts were untrue, it was a competitive match that lasted a LONG time, it wasn't the 19 seconds the episode showed. Tyler is the comparison to Zach, not the rest. But you are ignoring the fact that CJ won 3/5 AND CJ absolutely dominated Zach in the first 3 rounds. You also have to remember that CJ beating Zach the first 2 rounds to keep his team in the game was just as impressive as Zach beating CJ 2-1 in the tie breaker (actually a little more impressive considering 2-0 > 2-1 and the size/weight should have gave Zach the advantage going in) and if the tie breaker was just 1 round like I think it should have been then Zach would be gone. And as others have said, if this was a Duel or Inferno, Zach would have been completely embarrassed by CJ. I give Zach props..he won by the rules of the game but as fans, most of us know who was more impressive and who won more overall rounds than the other. Also, yes, the CT/Tyler match up was a very long match but CT clearly had the upper hand and was much closer to winning than Tyler was when TJ called it. And the game that CT and Tyler played was completely different compared to what CJ and Zach played. I still think if CT and Zach ever meet in a head to head physical game, it would get ugly for Zach...and I don't think CT is the only competitor on these Challenges that could beat Zach in a physical head to head or any head to head.
CJ didn't dominate Zach in the first round. Zach pushed through CJ and CJ turned around as Zach was about to get out and pulled his legs back.
CJ didn't dominate Zach in the first round. Zach pushed through CJ and CJ turned around as Zach was about to get out and pulled his legs back.
Pulled his legs backs AKA dragging him.
Pulled his legs backs AKA dragging him.
Yeah but as I said it was after Zach went through him and was inches away from exiting. That's not what I'd call dominating
Frank is so ridiculous he threw a 5 minute temper tantrum saying that his team was making him out to be a psycho just like on San Diego. No, you did several things on your own during your season and including the 5 min psycho rant in this episode hitting stuff and sreaming that makes you out to be a psycho. Noone did that for you. It makes me so angry that he refused to step up in the water torture elimination when he and Zach agreed that he would do the mental and strategy games and Zach would do physical/endurance. Then after punking out and going back on his word actually had the nerve to say Zach needed to man up and do the physical challenge against CJ. In my opinion had Frank done either elimination he would have lost so he can pretend to be this all knowing "master" of the challenge but in reality if he didn't have Zach to do his dirty work for him he would've been sent home.
"we saw Zach overcome the smaller/quicker player strategy" So now it's an advantage being smaller in a strength game? It was embarrassing for him.
flipped on is back - did your feed have a judo throw or something? & did TJ yell "ippon!"? Cuz the rest of use saw a tackle collision led by the shorter football standout who got as low as on all fours. couldn't use his strength to stop CJ 3/5 times - like I told you BEFORE, he turned in into a race. Wes even said it that way on his near win. I guess your feed didn't have that part So now it's an advantage being smaller in a strength game - Yeah, the games this season have been truly definitive of their titles  What show are you watching?! & the scrapes on the same spot on Zach's arms..hmm what could be the cause (?) definitely not the hall cuz it's soo wide. Keep seeing/not seeing whatever you want, dude.
The numbers speak for themselves kid, CJ: 3 and Zach: 2. If Sam would have lost then CJ would have embarrassed Zach for life.
Who WENT HOME speaks for itself, brah. IF, IF, IF...If they'd gone another round (IF it was 3 out of 5) how confident are you on CJ? Keep in mind Zach just found the counter strategy and CJ had just come off the most (by far) physically exerting effort, finally making his way to some game-changing level of fatigue. In what world is the smaller athlete being a faster runner not only expected, but upon doing so embarrasses the bigger one?!
Come on now this is THE CHALLENGE, a game show not made for p***ies. I actually got mad when TJ yelled out "No Wrestling" of the point of this elimination round was supposed to be PHYSICAL.
Well said, but its a good rule. Without it we would've seen some crazy stalemating, face-masking, and positioning that ain't tv-friendly. One could treat CJ's/Wes' dive strategy like a takedown and sprawl on them , trying to get underhooks/low positioning to drive him back. Unfortunately, the 'no-wrestling' policy wasn't enforced right as CJ grappled egregiously in the 1st round. When Zach turned to face CJ's direction in the 1st OT round, he was immediately called on it.
Sorry, but those examples are horrible. The Hobo needs to pull something like finally gettting some standup in, then a consequent t/ko or finally getting it to the ground and catching a submission, if you want to make it analogous to Zach's hurdle and beasting. Both the game leading scorer Kobe & 3 point buzzer-beating- shot-maker Marion, are MVP's for their teams; who is the better MVP? C'mon, don't make me quote Herm Edwards again. J
Let's really talk about known factors that one can't ignore as I addressed CJ's wins. (again, they were footraces not all str8-up contests!) & you can't prove, much less argue, that he suffered a fatigue turning point. Do you think CJ is just your average gym rat, or a athletics/fitness career-ist? (see his personal training business/legit NFL endeavor for the answer) Was it a coincidence that CJ didn't remotely dive as low (and early) as he was doing, especially right after he got hurdled?! How does one dismiss the fact that Zach got much better positioning (than the 1st run) in the final and drove CJ back faster?
But you are ignoring the fact that CJ won 3/5 AND CJ absolutely dominated Zach in the first 3 rounds. What I'm not doing is falsely generalizing and being selective when it comes to the facts. You're avoiding my point of CJ making it a footrace FOR A REASON. You actually think you're being detailed because you're spewing numbers while avoiding the aforementioned, crucial notation of HOW he won. "as others have said" - Adrian, I'll ask you too - How the **** is it embarrassing for a bigger guy to barely lose a footrace to a smaller guy?
Also, yes, the CT/Tyler match up was a very long match but CT clearly had the upper hand and was much closer to winning than Tyler was when TJ called it. "the game was completely different compared to" - OH, look who is just now conveniently noticing the context and details of the games and not just the general stats, end call of a draw/# of rds won. LOL!
Pulled his legs backs AKA dragging him.
Yeah & I can "take-down" a good pro-fighter (when we're standup sparring & if I do so from behind)
"I'm not ignoring anything. What I'm not doing is falsely generalizing and being selective when it comes to the facts. You're avoiding my point of CJ making it a footrace FOR A REASON. "as others have said" - Adrian, I'll ask you too - How the **** is it embarrassing for a bigger guy to barely lose a footrace to a smaller guy?" Frankie J...Yes, you are ignoring something...Earlier YOU said that Zach won when it counted and played to win the game Herm Edwards style like he was more impressive because he did those things. Well, CJ played to win the game, too and him humiliating Zach 2-0 to keep his team in the game up to that point was just as important and impressive as Zach winning the tie breaker. So, since what CJ and Zach did was so impressive the only thing to really go on is total rounds won..and CJ won 3...Zach won 2. And you keep saying that CJ turned it into a foot race...well, Zach completely hurdled over CJ to FINALLY win his 1st round against CJ in the tie breaker...I mean, Zach completely avoided using his strength there...I guess he turned into a foot race as well.
Janelle, Parvati, and Trishelle are my top 3 reality girls but the story you told me came from Janelle so it loses creditability. If is true, more power to Trishelle by sleeping with one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Trishelle has change after her original season but I love the fiesty Trishelle!
Well I can see she can do no wrong in your eyes. And I don't know what you define as trashy. Sorry but it being a big star doesn't mean it's less trashy. The way she came out. Somehow I think if the tables were reversed and you heard Jonna walked out topless in front of anybody and acted like a trashbag groupie and then had the nerve to judge Trishelle, you would see how hypocritical and ridiculous it would be. Oh and why would Janelle make that up? Plus her Vegas castmates confirmed it anyway. I do agree that Trishelle is good tv though. I used to like her, but I just think she's a very rude girl. I would like her more if she wasn't judging other people because I remember how upset she would get over anybody saying similar things about her that she said about Jonna. Also this challenge Trishelle admitted she faked being sick just because she didn't feel like doing a challenge. I'm sorry, but that's selfish and not being a team player. Had Sam did that she would be chewed out. Had Jonna did it, people would talk about her negatively. I love Dustin and Nany, but I don't care for the older Vegas cast. I wish Leroy and Cooke were part of the team. As for the CJ/Zach thing. I love that people can finally see that CJ is not weak. People assumed that after Fresh Meat 2, but I just think he got dealt a bad deck. He also seems like a great guy. I don't care what Chet says. Oh and I think CT would destroy Zach in an arena like that. lol.

People can twist stories up and things like that if there's no real proof (trishelle or leo talking about it) then i dont believe it ... But lets stay on topic.. Trishelle did admit to faking sick but she also said she would have gone in with out a doubt if her team lost.. I know it really doesnt matter what i think and im not really out to change anyones oppinion im just a huge fan of the Real world and I know Trishelle and she is like a really great person.. I think this show would be so boring without her.. so excited shes back and its funny because obviously things are fine now because everyone from the show seems to really like Trishelle .. Just sayin.. <3

Camille, I don't want to make everyone scroll through by quoting your narrative, but here's my response. I don't think Jonna is trashy, I have always liked Jonna. I do think Trishelle calling her trashy is funny. Maybe it's hypocritical, rude, I don't care it was funny. I think Trishelle has a mean/funny sense of humor and one that I find very highly amusing, same reason I love Janelle. I think that is awesome Trishelle faked a sickness because she didn't want to get thrown in the water lol. That's 2 challenges she's played her way out of and still doesn't go into the elimination lol. If she likes ***, she likes *** that doesn't make her trashy. I also do think there is a difference banging one of the biggest stars in the world and a random guy. There is not one thing I can find wrong with Trishelle besides the weird coloring of her nose.
Anyways the numbers speak for themselves, CJ 3 wins and Zach only 2 so although San Diego won that elimination round CJ was the better man.
This is not the topic to discuss cast members who are not on this challenge (CT, Tyler, and Adam). Try to keep on topic, folks.
I didn't see the episode. So I didn't see the Jonna situation. But in the debate on who trashier between Jonna and Trashelle, I'd say they're equal. Neither one is trashier than the other. They're both huge s***s. Whether it's a huge star or some random guy, doesn't make it any less trif. Plus Trashelle hooked up with that "random" guy before Jonna did (Why you would want to hook up with a guy that just hook up with another girl right in your face, i'll never know. But that's s***s for you), So I don't know why Trash felt like she could talk s***, anyway. Oh and Jonna is homeless? I find that ridiculous.
THIS IS HOW WE TEST THE TRUE METTLE OF THESE TEAMS. Pit them against everyone at the SAME TIME. And also a scientific fact!
Of course most people want to avoid elimination, but Jonna came across as entitled, and that was the issue people had with her mostly, it seems.
Yup. This.
Does anyone else think Frank always bossed his friends around in order to be the red power ranger growing up?
HAHA. Maybe this is the best comment of the thread. It's a toss-up!
I don't agree with the Jonna bashing. In this challenge it's been he who screws up goes into the arena. Like Sam did in the last episode. Jasmine cost them the challenge, so she should have gone in. Also remember that Jonna won a jungle for her and Jaz in Rivals so it was time for Jasmine to step up. And people have been calling Trishelle on her *****iness, but Devyn also needs to be called out. Devyn hooks up with 60 year old men and skunks like Big Easy and yet she calls Jonna "hoetic."
Oh and Jonna is homeless? I find that ridiculous.
She was. I'm guessing she found a place of her own since the challenge ended. but shes basically been homeless for half a year.

You guys are novices at quoting. As for the entire Jonna situation, I think Jacoby did a great job of summarizing it:
Jasmine (The Challenge, Jacoby), 10 points: Jasmine cried a couple times (2 x 5 = 10 points), but none of that matters because ... Jonna. Why Jonna? Because the underboob-tattooed Jonna pulled the best "Here is the reason that I should stay on this reality show" excuse in the history of reality shows. Homelessness. Jonna is claiming that she should stay on the show because she has no home. Her explanation got even **nnier/sadder/more mysterious: "My ex-boyfriend and I broke up two summers ago, and he threw away all my possessions and belongings. He blackmailed me into signing my car title over to him and he stole my dog. It was ... it was bad. Because I lost everything, I need to be here on this challenge more than anyone else does." This week's GRTFL Top Five is a deep dive into my Five Favorite Words/Phrases From This Statement Listed From "Yes, Jacoby, I was wondering about that too" to "If Chuck Klosterman hadn't ruined the CIA, I would demand that they investigate":
5. "Two summers ago." Two summers is a long **** time. One would even think that is long enough to, ya know, (a) get over it emotionally, (b) get some more stuff, (c) find suitable housing, (d) get another dog. Just sayin'. 4. "Threw away all my possessions." Now, I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that Jonna cheated on him. I may be wrong ... but I'm not. 3. "Blackmailed." Does blackmailing happen outside of Disney cartoons, telenovelas, and political dramas? Also, why isn't there a Disney cartoon telenovela political drama in development for the Grantland Channel? 2. "He stole my dog." He kept his ex's dog? That must have been a Lassie-level pooch. 1. "Because I lost everything, I need to be here on this challenge more than anyone else does." I could make a great case for the exact opposite of that argument. **n fact: Super reality-TV nerds will remember that Jonna was on TruTV's Rehab: Party at The Hard Rock, in which she got fired almost every episode and drove up from Arizona every weekend to cocktail-serve in Las Vegas. I can't imagine how their relationship went wrong ...
Then, later in the episode when she arrives at the arena (in a "Zach" Under Armour shirt that she has fashioned into a dress), we learn that pretty much every female member of the cast hates her. Why they hate her is never even remotely explained, but they do have some good one-liners about her. Matter of fact, I am doubling down on the GRTFL Top Five this week. The following are the Top Five Cattiest Things That the Other Women Said About Jonna for No Particular Reason, Listed From "That wasn't that mean" to "She would never say that -- did they dub that over her lips moving like Kung ** movie?"
5. "She'll be homeless again, watch." -- Nany 4. "She is a trash bag, like the trashiest person I have ever met" -- Trishelle 3. "She is homeless because she is ho-etic" -- Devyn 2. "I have a gag reflex. I am not Jonna." -- Jasmine 1. "Jonna is a greedy *****. She wanted to manipulate Jasmine into the arena so that she can stay and get a piece of the pie." -- Trishelle
You can find Jonna's booking info on her website. You can also find her "résumé" there. It's worth it.
Devyn hooks up with 60 year old men and skunks like Big Easy and yet she calls Jonna "hoetic."
First, we should respect the vevmo rules regarding commentary about members. Devyn is a member. Then there is the question of facts... With the use of the phrase "hooks up," are you implying the principal Urban Dictionary definition: "verb: to engage in any type of sexual activity"? That seems to be a bit of stretch given the facts actually in evidence. I'm of the age mentioned and have known Devyn since the Brooklyn season. Just because one enjoys the company of intelligent, respectful and successful gentlemen does not mean one is "hooking up" with them. I've had lunch or dinner with 1/2 of the Brooklyn cast and can't report a single "hook up."
Seems like everyone's already forgotten about Jonna cheating on her boyfriend in the very first episode, then breaking up with him saying "she did the right thing" in an interview.

And we're not allowed to say anything negative about Devyn just because she's a member?
