The voting process is terrible! It needs to be anonymous like on Cutthroat that way people can really vote how they feel instead of with the group.
The only time it should be anonymous is when it's a group challenge.
When it's a pair or individual challenge, only the 1-2 winners choose who goes in, rather than 14 people.
It would be pointless to have 1-2 people vote anonymously cause... Only their votes matter so everyone is gonna find out who they voted for anyway ****

True but when its a group it was kinda awkward to watch
True but when its a group it was kinda awkward to watch
I agree.
Team voting should be done anonymously, pair voting should be between the pairings and not discussed amongst others, individual should never be discussed openly.
Jasmine needed to retire when she got sent him from seasons, like she said.
I remember she went off on twitter and Derrick podcast that next time she saw Jonna she was going to kick her *** ( same exact thing she is saying to Nia)
Then the reunion came around Emile and herself attended it as audience, she didn't do anything and next thing you know she is tweeting how much she loves Jonna.
I am not a fan of Nia, but before this challenge she was talking **** about Nia on her form spring before meeting her then 2 days after she was following her calling her beautiful. Jasmine is crazy just like Robin.
Quick overall thoughts:
Episode - ******* loved it! Felt old-school with the editing, everyone getting equal camera time (perfect amount), the elimination round was intense (well, the girls side anyway).
If I had one con, and I mentioned this above, is the voting process. I feel as though if the voting was done secretly and not discussed, then it would have had a better vibe...and a chance to create some drama.
Twitter beef - meh, don't care.
It's not as though these people are affecting my life in any huge way.

I rememeber that and Derek did a podcast after the reunion and was like Yeah Jasmine talked a bunch of **** about Jonna but they were best friends when they saw each other. Jasmine is annoying and needs to never come back.
Thoughts about the episode:
- What's interesting about the rules to Free Agents and the eliminations, it's that it's geared more towards competition than actual Drama. In the past formats with Rivals, Exes, and Seasons it's been trying to use the personalities to dictate the pace and the decisions made on the show, whereas now on Challenge 25 it's entirely about competition. This is what people have wanted, to see who's the best and we've got it. Granted, the cast isn't necessarily the cream of the crop but this should be a great show.
- First challenge was cool, it was kind of a mix of the physicalness of these newer challenges but it had a throwback feel due to the large group format of two large teams. Camila had a great showing, and it's arguably the second biggest threat to the girls side besides Laurel. I'm hoping a lot more people have a chance to shine. I can see Cohutta flying under the radar for a long time or perhaps not being picked unless he has to draw, solely because of his size and also people like him.
- Voting was interesting, and the team with mainly veterans won and they ended up pulling a veteran move which was the bandwagon effect. You know? The one where you don't want to make any waves so you pick who you already know is going in. From the supertease, it looks like LaToya is going to have more problems with that down the line. Chances are she'll be picked until she finally loses.
- I probably wouldn't have made the same decision as Chet, but I can see why he chose to forfeit. His face is his money maker honestly, but chances are they would've kicked him off anyway due to it possibly being infected with the types of challenges they compete in. I think that's what he meant when he was signing off when he said "or a chance at winning money." That or he assumed that he was pretty much going to be sent in again, even if he did beat Frank.
- Jemmeye didn't look too much like she wanted to be there. I didn't see the fire in her that I usually see, but it may be because she isn't a rookie. She may be just over everything.
- Season looks good. Supertease was great. It was great to see Cara Maria actually standing up for herself in the trailer. Looks like we'll get CT voted in an elimination down the line. Things looks promising from a competition aspect, and considering they are all volatile personalities that's have been built up for the past few seasons (see folks, Seasons did have a purpose) the drama will come on it's own.
- Jasmine is probably the person I'm most disappointed in, in terms of The Challenge. Just from the things she says, and she hopes that will get her further than actually competing. She's now over that hump where people could try to see potential in her, and now everyone thinks she's all bark no bite. There's nothing even remotely intimidating about her, no one takes her seriously, and now she's making a fool out of herself.
Couple of thoughts.
-Don't know why Chet is getting so much hate for quitting. Dude had a mean gash on his chin, and if it got hit hard a couple more times, it would open up more and more. That scar would be horrible.
-Robin twitter stuff is redic. She was never a good competitor and was always annoying as ****. She was terrible even when she started (sexes? don't remember).
-Jordan flipping those cards was ******. Excited for that elimination if that foreshadowing is true.

I agree about the Chet situation. Even if he had chosen to continue and had beaten Frank they probably would have ended up sending him home anyways because it was a deep enough cut that required stitches.

That fight is not going to happen, jasmine is going to end apologizing like she did with Jonna and Danni victor.
She always have been this big mouth, Ashley lindley (RW: DC) is another one that cant stand that girl without meeting her because she talked some much **** about her on twitter and to other cast members

She's pathetic! I can't deal.
She's pathetic! I can't deal.
I agree! At this point she should retired...She is looking like a Robin on the making , which is not a good look.

The minds of quitters think alike.
its a little gash under your chin, you can still run you can still lift stop being a little girl, put some Vaseline and a bandaid, and go for the money.
I hope that's the last we see of Chet. I rank him on the same level as Tyrie and Easy now, maybe even worse.
Chet is a *****. Like please don't invite him to anymore challenges! Jasmine finally had a confessional that made sense.
Because he split his chin open? ****, we got a couple of internet gangsters around here.
I agree! At this point she should retired...She is looking like a Robin on the making , which is not a good look.
Except Robin was actually tolerable at times, and wasn't bad looking back in the day.
I agree about the Chet situation. Even if he had chosen to continue and had beaten Frank they probably would have ended up sending him home anyways because it was a deep enough cut that required stitches.
I really wouldn't put it passed them either. They just want what can generate ratings.

Is that why TJ Lavin, who clearly knew more than we did, gave him the ultimatum of stitches now or stitches later? I swear, people hear just what they want to hear. Stitches = scar. I wouldn't take a scar on my face for a small chance at $125,000.
I agree! At this point she should retired...She is looking like a Robin on the making , which is not a good look.
Its not but I will say her vs Nia in an elimination I wanna see badly or at least a good face to face drunk Jasmine and Hurricane Nia everyone has to break them up argument. So I wouldn't mind Jasmine being on Challenge 26.
Robin, Camila & Jemmye need to be on next season for pure entertainment as they make Robin go The Island on them lol. Plus, I've kinda been wanting to see Robin come back and be the old feisty her.
Jay vs Jordan needs to happen on Challenge 26. I think they should just cast all the Ex-Plosion guys lol
Tyler NEEDS to do a challenge because he is so funny and so is LaToya! Those 2 arguing HAHAHA
Averey because she gives no ****s.
Mark because the godfather wants in again so how could you not bring him back and CT hasn't retired. How much would you love a CT vs Mark elimination! I could see it happening too because they like each other but still don't trust each other.
Is that all the twitter beefs from last night? I lost count lol

Small chance at 125,000? You must have the legs of a 70 year old man and can't solve a 7 piece puzzle then.
I would have said stitches later, let me make Frank bleed first and beat him. Then I would go to the house, get stitched, put a big bandaid, and not say a word about it and continue about my day.

No, I'm just a normal *** white kid. You could think what you want. But let's be honest, with people like Leroy, CT, Zach, nobody on this site would stand a chance in the Challenge. I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm some tough **** who would do anything for a chance at $125,000. Truth is, I would have left too. I wouldn't mess up my face for a shot at some money.

Exactly. It's also very easy as a viewer to criticize players for quitting when we are not the ones competing and risking getting injured for money. I don't care how much money is at stake, no amount of money is more important than my own safety.
Jasmine...wow. I almost feel sorry for her. She's doing it to herself though. As a so-called black woman she should know WAY better than to get on TV & be like "I'm gonna be the house *****" and that other stuff she said that I won't type lol like ***? Who says **** like that?
As far as Chet, I would've liked to see him keep going but I can easily understand why. He has a brain & a hustle outside this show & knows there is much more to life than this show. Not his fault that The Challenge is pretty much all a lot of the contestants (and TJ for that matter) have in life.

THANK YOU! I feel like half the people here get too wrapped up in this show to realize, it's just a competition. If you don't win, no big deal. You go home, go back to your normal job, and live your life.
Social media was blowing up. The two forums I look at that discuss challenges and Real World were blowing up. This thread has destroyed any explosion thread, I really hope ratings hit a high point. If this season does well, consistently better than Ex-Plosion, I think they need to bring dailies back to MTV.com.
What a weak *****! I have no respect for her. Like I hate people who start **** then play victim.
If your respect is that easy to lose, I bet she wouldn't want it in the first place.

Lol NO! We don't need her on anymore challenges for a fight that will never happen. If they did, have them do it on their own time. I'm sure someone will record and post it on WorldStar.
Man I should go tweet Darrell and tell him to start talking smack about all these rookies so he can secure a spot on the next Challenge lol
That's my dude! LOL. Bring back Darrell and Derrick!
