That is the only time I would tolerate Evelyn coming back if Coral is her partner...Coral should have another win & that would be her best bet (and probably the only other person they could get for her other than Beth).
Beth & Coral would be life.
Yes it would. That Pairing is probably more fesable than Evelyn/Coral.
Eh honestly a Beth/Coral team, as much as i'd like to see them again (one of the rare vets i'd like to see again), they give me Rachel/Aneesa vibes from Exes 1. They'd probably go in, be kinda UTR, and go home due to 1 of them being overweight and kinda sucking. Evelyn/Coral I feel would be more fresh. Especially since Evelyn is SO competitive, she'd try to criticize Coral about not competing well, and Coral will put Ev in place.
1. NO ******* RIVALS OR ALLIES. I do NOT want to see another pair challenge. Big Team or Indivitual please. It's too soon for Rivals and I don't want to see Allies.
2. If we need old-schoolers on then get people like Ruthie or Frank(Las Vegas 1) or even bring some of the Non-castmembers that haven't returned yet from Fresh Meat 2. or better yet..get people from newer RW seasons that haven't done a challenge yet that want to come on. I don't want to see Darrell or Landon. That's not diversity to me. It's repetition.
3. I personally would still ***** if CT/Backpack did make it to the end everytime. Both are old news and have nothing left to offer. They're not the only ones I'm sick of too. Leroy, Sarah, and Jonna could also stand to take a break. Wes and Aneesa need to give it up too.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO not Jonna. I was agreeing with you all day :(.
But okay she can have a 1 season break so she return fresher than ever. Like when she dominated Rivals 1, and took a break, and returned to BOTS and was even better.

I wouldn't say dominated, she won one mission. She did great in her elimination round I'll give her that but she far from dominated.

1. You realise that Free Agents, an individual format, was the last challenge? BMP/MTV tries to avoid individual challenge, because they like the dynamics/drama when a team struggles or the partner pisses everyone off and you get the blame too. And the last 6 challenges (not counting Exes2) half of them were team or individual challenges so it isn't like we don't see those formats or we're stuck with pair challenges. It's completly in the middle in that regard. Team, Pair, Pair, Team, Pair, Indi.
2. I hate the fact that everybody thinks just because you were on the RW you have a free pass to do the Challenge. I don't want someone who was completely invinsible on their season to get cast to do a challenge. I think you should at least earn your spot too and I think BMP/MTV did a pretty good job to cast the right people from the RW for the Challenge.
3. I think CT and Bananas still give you something to watch. See Exes, Rivals2 and Free Agents. You should better not say that they don't have anything to offer. Bananas was public enemy numero 1 on Free Agents and will probably be on Exes 2 and after the passing of Diem, CT will do everything to get the win for Diem and medgift....this guy is on a mission. CT and Bananas being old news is just laughable when they dominated the last 4 seasons they did confessional and drama-wise. Rivals, Exes, Rivals2 and FA. DA you should realise that there're many, many, many people who are not sick of seeing Leroy, Sarah, Jonna, Wes and Aneesa...so they do not need to give it up.

That's because BMP/MTV focuses on them. I'm assure everybody on the show can be involved in a storyline, BMP/MTV rather chose older vets over newer cast memebers not allowing them to get a larger fan base.
That's the only issue. I'm fine with Bananas and CT as long as they aren't the main attraction all the time. Although, they are did a fair job on Free Agents, not focusing on CT as much. Bananas was another story...
Since there has been interest from the old schoolers I wouldn't mind seeing three team challenge so it would be like Old School Vets VS New School Vets VS Rookies. Old School Vets could be people started challenges prior to Fresh Meat (this could change based off of how many old school they got) then new school Vets is if you have been in at least 3 challenge and Rookies would be less then 3 challenges. I think the dynamic would be good because there would be so much variety even in strategy especially between. 10 per team.
People that I would be fine with being on the show:
Old School:
CT
Derrick
Mark
Brad
Abram
Coral
Veronica
Annessa
Trishelle (Since she quit I doubt she would be on it or asked)
Kina
Ruthie
Other maybes: Theo, Landon, Darrell, Ace, Adam, MJ, Tonya, Tina, Katie, Rachel, Ibis, Robin
New School Vets:
Wes
Bananas
Kenny (Not Likely)
Zach
Cohutta
Evelyn
Sarah
Cara
Laurel
Cooke
Maybes: Danny, Nehemiah, Dunbar, Chet, Brandon,Evan (Not likely), Preston, Dustin, Leroy, Melinda, Johanna, Paula, Jenn, Kelly Ann (Doubtful), Emily (Doubtful),
Rookies: (3 or less challenges)
Mike Mike
Johnny
Jordan
Cory
Adam (AYTO since we know they will be on there from now on)
Averey
Hailey
Jamie
Nicole
Simone (AYTO)
Maybes: Brain, Jay, Thomas, Bruno, Tony, Jason, Nia, LaToya, Jess, Jenny, Jenna, Madison, Sylvia. AYTO I do not remember Season 1 and have not watched season 2 so Idk who would be good.
The only thing about old school vs new school is IMO the new school would dominate because they're used to the intense Challenges they have now where as old school wasn't half as intense so they're not used to it. I think a few individuals could but as a team, no.

With BMP they would consider key west, Austin, Both Fresh meat, Sydney and camila old school.

Yasssssssss CT is coming back? Hopefully not next challenge though. Too soon IMO.
And as for Team challenges Debut Album they would do one but the problem is finding a team theme that not only spilts the teams up but is also marketable and can attract viewers. Heroes vs. Villians is a Survivor thing now not a Challenge thing. And its BA vs. GG and that is played out. I shall I remind you how forgettable the Inferno 3 was?
I think they would do an Old vs. New, Jon said he would love too, but many old cast members are done with the challenge! Or probably want to much money to come back one time and then disappear. On top of that they will want the best Old School team ever and right now they are not gonna get that. They missed there opportunity to do this challenge a couple seasons ago. So obviously they haven't found a team theme worth doing yet.
And individual, nah. Don't do another one till the very last season.
Partners just make sense and there are still so many options on the table with Partners. I don't mind it.

Indeed, i mean how many pairs won't be "best friends" after the first mission? I think it was too soon for Rivals 2.
On top of that they will want the best Old School team ever and right now they are not gonna get that.
That's laughable. BMP can't even assemble the best casts possible with what they have now. Free Agents was a fantastic format with a God awful cast, and don't get me started on Rivals II... The Ruins and Cutthroat are the only seasons in recent memory with great casts. I'd include BOTSeasons, but that's personal preference. Give me an hour and a list of phone numbers and I'll assemble something legendary for the Old School team.
BMP doesn't know know what the **** they're doing, and that's why the show is failing. They're casting based on what they know, and who they know is an easy yes, they're being overly repititious and cautious when they need to instead take risks. The brave may not live long, but the cautious don't live at all. This show isn't living, it's merely existing and that existence is nearing its end. The blame falls solely on the shoulders of BMP.

New people that got pretty good airtime on Cutthroat: Laurel, Cara Maria, Camilla, Brandon, Ty, Tyler in terms of the challenge
See a lot of new people got airtime and BMP/MTV focussed on them. They only reach the final and win thus people believe they would focus on them. The editor can't anything about it if the only story involves them. They can't make a storyline out of nothing.
Rivals2: CT acting like a complete moron and do everything to win.
FA: Jordan rightfully move to get Bananas out of the house and maximize his chances to win by going after the best guy after Frank left.
@Lurkernomore: I guarantee you that Bananas will never ever get a 10th win, because every time he participates in a individual or pair challenge, he should be the one the house needs to target and not the rookies. And if they do a team challenge, he doesn't have many friends left that would not throw in someone else than him. Anybody in their right mind should realise that by having Bananas in the house your chances of winning are pretty small whereas CT is still handicapped by his chain-smoking. Plus if CT returns, BMP/MTV will do anything to get the feel-good moment for the massive CT/Diem fans.....
On top of that they will want the best Old School team ever and right now they are not gonna get that.

Yeah as if you are the best producer ever. Some people forget that MTV has the last word when it comes to the cast. As a producer you should always include some not so good people to your cast, because if you do your best cast in one season then what's next?
The term "best cast" is always personal preference.....

The show is merely existing? It's what is keeping MTV alive at this point. The Challenge is still pushing at 26 seasons. Most shows on MTV don't even make it that long.
And you get a list of numbers and let me know how many NO's you are gonna get. All I'm saying they don't want an Old School team with no Jenn, Paula, Susie, Tori, Veronica, Coral, Beth, Katie, etc. many of those believe it or not are done.

I have better grasp on the reality of the situation than either BMP or MTV does. The duo has lost ratings because they have shunned both the cast members who built the franchise, and the individuals who were providing the 2-4+ million viewers in the golden age. The golden age didn't end because people stopped watching, it ended because production forced it to.
The show is merely existing? It's what is keeping MTV alive at this point.
It is existing. There is no other word to describe the situation. MTV is merely existing. The fact that 800,000 viewers is something to jump for joy over is embarrassing, if you can't comprehend that, then there's an issue.
I've defended Susanne Daniels on numerous ocassions, because she's trying, but she was dealt a nearly impossible hand.

The Golden age has ended! No show that was on years ago is getting the ratings it had then. Not Survivor, Not Big Brother, Not American Idol, Not Dancing With The Stars. They've been on so long and now we have things like DVR or going back and watching tv the next morning online and not live. Ways of not having to watch tv online. These shows have changed in viewership thus they have to keep changing things each season to keep the show alive and striving. IMO cable tv has a whole here lately has been doing bad. Only a couple shows are really doing well in ratings right now. It's not just MTV. Many factors have changed television and what it use it to be. You can't just blame the fall of The Challenge on MTV and BMP there are many other factors. There is a bigger picture to this!

This entire post. Say this shit again **** the only thing is I would say both BMP & MTV are at fault. Both can definitely be blamed because as long as this show has been around yet it's still treated as if it's a show with only a "cult-like" following. This show should easily be up there with the Survivors & Big Brothers. The whole "those are part of a bigger network" thing is a cop-out; Bad Girls Club single-handedly put Oxygen on the map when nobody gave two shits about that channel. The Challenge is supposed to be the "next big sport" yet most people are surprised it still comes on.
The show is merely existing? It's what is keeping MTV alive at this point.

No I can comprehend that because its reality. And the reality is MTV is not that big hip young channel it use to be. Even the VMA's don't get great ratings. MTV is kinda forgettable at this point. And I can't really say what they could do to bring it back. Other networks have taken there shine like Bravo, VH1, E!, even now BET is doing somewhat better than MTV. MTV is not marketing to the right audience.

Thank you. MTV needs to be gutted completely, revamped, and rebranded.

There demographic is wrong. Not to sound racist or anything but has anyone noticed here lately how black tv is killing right now! On cable and primetime. The highest rated show on Bravo is The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Even Lifetime is creating more shows and movies starring black actors. There reality television is even ratchet. VH1's most succesful shows star black people.
Then we have Mtv. Awkward, not a black person on the show. Eye Candy, a black person and she is irrelevant. Teen Wolf all white people. Like no main black character shows. There reality tv shows need to comeback to like The Hills, Laguna Beach, etc. no pregnant chicks that is dead. TV shows that are relatable that is why BET is doing good with the scripted series. They are funny (The Game) yet relatable (Being Mary Jane).
MTV needs to try it once. Just one measly season. Assemble as many big names from the past as possible, market it to death, and see what happens. If it succeeds, yippee ki yay *************. If it fails, I'll eat my words, but I'll do so with a big smile on my face as the show gets cancelled.

They definitely need to focus on various demographics. Until they do, things are going to remain the same. MTV isn't dedicated to a niche audience, and they need to quit acting like it.
While their casting isn't any better, they've at least starting branching into various different genres of scripted televsion.
I hope Bananas hits double digit wins before CT ever gets his second.
Zach
Cohutta
Evelyn
Sarah
Cara
Laurel
Cooke
Maybes: Danny, Nehemiah, Dunbar, Chet, Brandon, Evan (Not likely), Preston, Dustin, Leroy, Melinda, Johanna, Paula, Jenn, Kelly Ann (Doubtful), Emily (Doubtful),
Rookies: (3 or less challenges)
Mike Mike
Johnny
Jordan
Idk if your joking or not lol, but I can definitely agree with this comment.
I'm seriously not joking. I love Bananas and I can't stand CT.
Rivals 1: Jasmine, Jonna, Cara Maria, Laurel
Exes: Ty, Emily and Camilla
Seasons2: No question
Rivals2: Anastasia, Marlon, Jordan, Zach, Frank, Theresa, Cooke
FA: Jordan, Nany, Reily, Cohutta, Devyn, Zach
Exes2: Jay and Jenna
See a lot of new people got airtime and BMP/MTV focussed on them. They only reach the final and win thus people believe they would focus on them. The editor can't anything about it if the only story involves them. They can't make a storyline out of nothing.
Rivals: The mob gunning for CT
Exes 1: CT/Diem's relationship, Camilla's meltdown, Ty/Paula relationship
I have never agreed with you more
Yeah as if you are the best producer ever. Some people forget that MTV has the last word when it comes to the cast. As a producer you should always include some not so good people to your cast, because if you do your best cast in one season then what's next?
The term "best cast" is always personal preference.....
I really want CT to get a second win for Diem though and donate to MedGift.
GD your post are giving me life today!
100% agree with this
I have better grasp on the reality of the situation than either BMP or MTV does. The duo has lost ratings because they have shunned both the cast members who built the franchise, and the individuals who were providing the 2-4+ million viewers in the golden age. The golden age didn't end because people stopped watching, it ended because production forced it to.
