Survivor Gabon: Episode Discussion

Kota played it smart....had Dan had the immunity idol, Susie would've bounced (most likely). SUGARRRRR. Sugar sugar sugar sugarrrrrrrrr. HOLY SHIT GUYS. October 30th. Survivor Gabon started. Game on. My only question: Why didn't they give Fang the "last tribe to vote" edit. I almost wanted the episode to END with the blindside....no? wow. WOW. Ace had to go man. I can't BELIEVE sugar did that. I really didn't think she had it in her. I hope she wins.

Damn I can't believe the few people I actually wanted to stay basically got wipped out all in the same night. Ace is definitely a snake in the grass but that would have been a nice element to add to the mix post merge and see how the cards fell. Now Sugar did pull a perfect blindside with the others and maybe that can further her in the game but I doubt it will in the long run. It was still funny looking at Fang though and them looking so smug after the blindside....did they realize there were only four of them left? AND DAN??? WTF? Come on you guys why kick off Dan and not miss Susie? Susie deserved to go much more than he did and I really wanted to see Dan go further in the game. Oh well maybe we it will be better in the long run....blah.

I wasn't ready for Dan to leave! ;) Ace getting voted off really surprised me. I really didn't think Sugar would do it. I am actually kind of glad she did. It shows that she has some back bone. (Even though it was a dumb move) Sugar is definitely one of my favorites. All in all (aside from Dan getting voted off) it was a good episode.

ughhh randy SUCKS. im so sick of him. Honestly though...if Ace brought Sugar to the merger...he'd stab her in the back in a SECOND once something better came long. I know it. You know it. Sug' knew it.

I really didn't think Sugar had it in her, but all in all I think it was the best move for her. Sure it would have been advantageous to have Ace on her side, but when you can't trust him then really what good is he. I don't think she is relying on Kenny and Crystal. With Marcus giving her that immunity necklace it gives her other options to consider. Suzie has to go, but I really did not like how Corrine used their conversation against her. then again, how stupid do you have to be to tell someone that you were going to write their name down and that you think you are stronger and more useful to the tribe. Duh! I didn't really have an impression of Dan, and I think there was a lot of editing there. Kota said he was a bumbling idiot, which jives with his stint on Exile Island. So maybe he was the right choice.

Kota is right though....Susie isn't actually going to WIN anything. She can be picked off at anyyyyyy time.

Im soooooooo shocked that Ace went. I'm also upset that Dan went home. It really kills the show for me a little bit. What a bummer.

What a bummer.[/quote] It was disappointing to see them go home rather than Susie or Kenny, though Susie did almost get the axe so she better watch out. Nothing against her or Kenny, though it was a smarter move to X out Ace but really being a leader on Fang is like switching seats on the titanic. As for Randy I'm sure he will stick around for a while until someone decides they don't want him around anymore.

Matty is as game-clueless as he looked at tribal council. Further, Sugar did better in the log roll than any other member of her tribe and all but Marcus on the other. I do have to wonder if somewhere around day 15 Jeff Probst was hoping someone would put him (and us) out of his misery. For me, it's the worst season I can remember.

Randy is already getting on my nerves and it's only been about 3 minutes. I [B]really [/B]hope he is the one to go tonight.

Wow. This episode was full of blindsides. (Ok, maybe just 2, but they were good ones!) 1st of all, I now have a new hatred for Susie. Marcus was actually my favorite on the Kota side (after Dan was voted off) so I am pretty bummed that he was voted off. I never saw it coming! I thought Marcus was going to make it far (If the tribes didn't swap then he would have.) 2nd of all, I was completely expecting a merge. I am actually glad that this happened. It made the game a whole lot more interesting. I can now say that Sugar is officially my favorite and I hope she wins it! (Have you noticed that everyone I like has been voted off.) I don't know how I feel about Chrystal at this point. Part of me likes her, and part of me doesn't. Susie.... I have a feeling that she is going to be another Cirie. :(

Holy Blindside Batman!!!! Never saw the tribe switch coming but in the end I shouldn't have been surprised and I agree it makes it more interesting instead of just straight Kota domination. But Marcus, well I had a gut feeling that he would get kicked off. Susie is crazy and a wild card which can be good for the game but it was bad that Marcus was the first victim of that. And another thing I think Susie needs to hang up the whole being in the final 3. And Randy...well he is just Randy what can you say.

i cannot BELIEVE how that shit went down. NO MERGE!?!?!?! I'd be LOST if i was one of those players. Susie changing was a good idea. When watching China...I wanted Denise to jump ship SO MANY TIMES and she didnt, and it cost her the game at the end. Granted you could argue that if Denise had switched over, shed still be on the outs...but i still think its a more aggressive way to play the game instead of "wait to be picked off" So if Susie stays with old Fang...could this mean that its POSSIBLE that Kenny, Crystal and Susie are a part of the final 4!?!?!?!? Wow. Dude...i said it last week and i'll say it again. Gabon, last week, with the ejection of Ace, BEGAN. Slow start, man, but I think we're on to something! Looking forward to the rest of the season!

I'm really ticked off. This is not right. Really, what world are we in. ARGH Marcus was the winner of the game. :( I called it in the second episode. I hate Susie! I hate Ken! and I hate Crystal! Blah die*******! OK, bitter rant over... I'm rooting for Sugar and Matty.
