That was great... everyone laughing while Randy and Corrine think they're pulling one over on everybody. I can't stand Randy but I like Corrine even less. I hope she goes home next week. Maybe Sugar will show a little loyalty to Bob and keep him around next week instead of sending him home like Matty wants.
That episode was GREAT! Survivor Gabon is really starting to shape up. :D I have wanted Randy out from day 1, and what better way for him to go then a blindside! He never saw it coming. I thought it was funny when everyone started laughing.
Sugar is awesome! I really want her to win it. It looks like she is sitting in a pretty good position right now.... but we all know that can change fast.
The whole cookie deal was very annoying... is it just me, or has a lot of the fights been over food?
If I had to pick someone to be voted off next week.... It would either be Ken or Susie.
Oh man, that has to go down in the Survivor memorable moments. I loved the pure evilness of Sugar! I'm just surprised that Bob was willing to forfeit his chance at 1 Million, albeit it was a very slim chance. He must know that he only bought himself 6 days tops.
I'm hoping that Sugar will toss her alliance and side with Bob, but that's not going to happen.
Kenny continues to get on my nerves. He thinks he knows this game so well. Well HA! didn't really know how the auction works did ya? You never wait for something better. What good was all that cash? It just paints a larger target on his back and shows him as the snake that he is.
I have to side with Sugar on the cookie thing. Randy was clearly being a jerk and was toying with her. I would have done the same thing. OK that was a lie. I'd have taken the cookie when it was first offered. LOL
It seems that fake idols have popped up alot more over the last few seasons and man did this make for a good moment at tribal. As much as I liked the Kota alliance, Randy getting sent home was a highlight of last night. Bob...loveable old vainy Bob really made a smart move, maybe he will be gone in the next few weeks but he extended his life by going along and getting Randy to play a fake idol without even letting on to it. That smile faded pretty fast after that. And Sugar is in a really good position right now I agree but I do believe she will have to make some moves if she wants to get to the end. The preview for next episode perked my interest....what was Bob doing?
It was good to see Randy go the way he did, but overall I no longer care. I don't like anyone left but Bob (as Sugar and Matty pushed me further away this episode) and it is hard to enjoy an ****ole like Randy getting nailed when those with the hammers are as bad if not worse.
I just about turned it off when Crystal decided it appropriate to break a 17 season tradition of discretion and yell out her vote reasoning so everyone could hear. This is coming from someone who once again finished dead last in the immunity competition (she could not get further than 2 steps on the balance beam and was leisurely walking back to the start.)
Sugar needed to let it go. It was disappointing to see her totally overtaken by the pettiness of the situation with Randy and forget about the larger game at hand. Her stab at the end was a bridge too far for me...
Basically we are in the home stretch and I am thinking about next season.
p.s. The preview showed Bob with another "immunity idol." Think she'll fall for it?

This season has picked up toward the end...even though admittedly Randy would have made for a better "villain" to stick around for the rest of the season...it'll be interesting to see who actually makes it to the end. I predict that Kenny gets cut and so does Crystal very soon.

Great prediction, but I am not getting my hopes up.
This season has been a big disappointment to me through and through - especially coming off two seasons in a row which I thought were quite competitive.

Coming off what is considered the worst season of Survivor, China pretty much brought life back into the show and then Micronesia built on that which resulted in it gaining a really good interest in this season. But yeah it hasn't been that competitive really ever honestly. Fang was horrible overall and the tribe switch made Kota bad near the end then nearly every member of the former Kota alliance has been sent home week after week. But I have hope. I think Matty said to Sugar..."me you, susie to the end" which would mean Kenny and Crystal would eventually get sent packing. Though that means Bob too...so I am hoping he finds someway to survive.
Matty Susie and Sugar as a final 3 would be interesting. Though - I dont think Sugar has any shot at winning....too many people dislike her (read: original Kota 4)

Matty has the best chance out of the three I guess but I have a feeling something will happen to throw a wrench in everything and we definitely will see some surprises.

I guess it all depends on who you are pulling for. It is like watching baseball. I am sure if you asked someone from Philly if this was the best baseball seasons ever, they'd tell you it was in the top 2 - but if you asked someone from New York, they would probably say it was one of the worst in 20 years.
Ok, analogies aside - there has not been much drama. Except for the Ace double cross, most of this season has been by the book - boring. Fancy editing adds some drama, but not enough. This IMHO is the worst season since Panama.
As for this episode, I thought it was entertaining and sets up Kenny's downfall next week (if all works out and Sugar comes back from the dark side.)
Tonight and the Preview of next weeks episode just helped my dislike for Kenny grow. I was [B]really [/B]hoping that he would go home tonight. :(

Bob really impressed me this week with not only winning immunity but coming up with the nice plan that almost worked in saving the only person that really would have had his back. Sadly Corinne went home despite their best efforts which means Bob probably will be kicked out soon. However, the vote pretty much set alot of eyes on Kenny and might spell the end for him in the coming weeks if the others side against him and Crystal. Sorry but Kenny has just got more and more cocky as the weeks have gone on...it's to the point you want him to fall on his face.

It would not surprise me to learn that the Survivor community will shun Corrine for her general disrespect. Few former cast members I know would find her departing words tonight to be appropriate. Obviously there is gonna be a big target on Kenny's back but Crystal seems so stuck to him that I don't know if she'll turn on him at all. But it is a nice thought isn't it? I was not a fan and was only pulling for a twist/power shift - not a Corrine stay of execution.
Her parting words were sour grapes and ate away at what little respect I had left for her. Actually, they jumped out at me. Very cold.
