I dislike Dee on the show but this just shows that today's society is shit. Twitter /IG is cancer and this whole ganging mentality needs to end. BLM is good movement (I'm black before anyone jumps on me) but I feel like a lot of people are losing sense of what it is and are just out to hunt others. Dee didn't need for the whole social media to gang on her or call her trash. She needed to be reprimended and taught that the statements she made are not okay.
The first dude who jumped on her for the black square and then posting her things is stupid as ****.
Jemmye and Marie creating unnecessry drama and calling Wes out was stupid too.
Also **** MTV for jumping on the bandwaggon when they had much worse episodes of racism on the show and they did nothing about it before (Camila and Jenna from RW Go big or go home).
This extreme left behaviours is becoming toxic af.
She was told that what she did wasn't OK. She doubled down on it-- that was what got her banned. And Wes's statement WAS trash-- it was all about him and how disappointed HE was and how HE was putting Dee into a psych facility and all that BS.
Yeah, it's absurd and ham handed that MTV let blatant racism go in the past, whether it was Jordan on his RW season, Camila, Bananas and Vince, that KKK Jenna girl from GBOGH, etc., but that doesn't mean they shouldn't own up to how bad they were in the past and star doing better.
It's not that hard to find people who haven't tweeted the N word, made monkey noises at black people, etc. etc. etc. That so many of these yahoos have says a lot more about who MTV is casting than it does about "cancel culture run amok" or whatever.
Jordan doing a live with nia to talk about their "past" do they think we're all little kids and we can't see through the bullshit. **** mtv and I'm disappointed in nia for being a pawn in their game
I don't like that. She's really giving him the platform to correct his image. That's her friend tho so it is what it is. Imma keep it pushing this way
If they're friends and she truly believes he changed then why is her helping him a problem?
because they never had this "live" before it was convenient for him. Systematic Racism isn't new, it didn't just appear in 2020 hot off the press with Covid. A 7 year gap in between then and now and all of the sudden it's time to "have a conversation" when social media are being swept and people are being fired?
Im good on the theatrics. That might be something y'all go up for but I don't perform

I see your point completely, but essentially he's trying to save his job. It is the conversation right now and I'm glad it's been done, but I also see your point as it's clearly more for him to save his own *** rather than actually talk about it or do anything about it. Much like MTV firing Dee now but letting these people slide in the past.

and the more MTV allows people to save their jobs and not fire these clowns like they did Dee and Taylor the worse and more performative they look. It's actually quite embarrassing for them and if we don't get a list of firings soon I do hope someone takes them to court.
They have a very weird friendship atleast as of exes 2 but they seem to be solid after that reunion. Despite their fights I feel like both have a soft spot for each other. I dont even think they ever found the need to do a live because they didnt care what viewers though until now that it has come back to bite him and at the end of the day she has love for him as a friend probably knows if he has change or not.
THIS has always been the "problematic" side of The Queen for me. I'm glad that she finally cleared up why she never came back but had she wanted to come back, would this ************ have done the same for her? I surely don't think so. This shit with them has been going on for 7 years tho so I guess.....
MTV didn't let Taylor explain herself as to why she was a dumb 17 yr old tho. MTV proving they all about protecting their favs
IMO it's different MTV didnt know about the existence of Taylor tweets until she filmed two shows with them ayto and ex on the beach people found them then. I do think it's wrong that she got fired after they used those tweets as a storyline later on on Teen Mom.
Meanwhile some people can argue that the reason they cast Jordan on Real World was over him being close mind it and a very judgemental guy that has never left his small town at that time. To interact with people opposite as him like Marlon and Nia. That's the whole original formula of real world to put 7-8 cast members with different walk of lives and views. To have crazy fights about being on opposites sides of the spectrum and interact while "growing" from the experience.
It would be ironic if anyone got fired over the same reason they were cast on a show with that type of concept Real World have had since it was created.
What Jordan don't seem to understand is that he didn't just offended Nia, he also offended the black community. She can be nice and claim to have forgiven him but that doesn't mean we have to. She doesn't speak for all of us. This was something that should've been done years ago instead of now out of convenience

this is how I feel about them as well. I've seen their convos on social media and it seems like they're great great friends. And yes they never cared about what others think or say until now... and she does love him.

She got banned because of the virginity BLM tweet. What exactly do you want from Wes? He wasn't the one under fire and people were already out for blood and going on a witchhunt. I would do that statement too. Baffles me how he is in the wrong here but okay. The problem is that MTV is not owning up shit. It's hypocritical and they are only doing this like 90% of American corportations that up until now didn't give a shit about racism within their own ranks because it's what is politically correct and good PR move. They never cared and they don't care about it now.
There is no excuse for racism and racist comments I get that but people wanting more 'blood' isn't going to help the cause.
Jordan's situation is a plain example of that, he does a videocall with Nia and people criticise it for being a cover-up. Then what the **** do you want him to do? If he apologised now and put a statement in his social media people would still cry that the apology is fake then what the **** is he supposed to do?
She's doing him a major solid lol he knows he's in deep deep water

Why now? it has been 8 years ago.
But still better late than never

Nia loves Jordan. She knows exactly what she's doing.
*Sighs......*

So is anything being done about Johnny or..........
I'm still waiting for him to burn to the ground with the rest
this is how I feel about them as well. I've seen their convos on social media and it seems like they're great great friends. And yes they never cared about what others think or say until now... and she does love him.
I think this is good.
it depends how good the live is...i just hope he doesn't give a fake excuse.
Hopefully it's better than Cory's..
Since He was with Dee when all that happenned it should be interesting what he says
Nehemiah Clark Talks The Challenge, The Real World & BLM | AfterBuzz TV
Really good interview.. he was preaching here.
"Our story is being told by people who don't know our story"
Nehemiah made a tweet the other saying how he stands by his friends in good and bad.
I don't feel like Nia will ever be a pawn in anyones game...especially MTV. I don't see why it's so wrong for her to forgive him if she has seen actual change and knows him.
I'm no fan of Jordan, but I trust that Nia knows who he really is & if she can vouch for his true nature, than I'll believe her.
nia is embarrassing in this live.....
i don't care about Nia forgiving him or not...her choice.
I wanna hear how Jordan is reflecting on it, why he said what he said, where the hate came from,...
I want real talk, no fake excuses...even if means that we hear things we don't wanna hear
you didnt miss anything, he didnt say anything this was all nia tapdancing
I watched it. Confirmed everything I thought it to be. Lots of hand holding, no actual accountability, didn't even utter an apology.
and above all else typical millennial butterflies and unicorn rhetoric about how if we all hold hands we'll be alright.
im good on that. I'm good on them. I don't need it
Whew lawd all I know is those comments were GHETTO!
