It might be that the other teams are voting which pair they are putting in since everyone takes his place as a group

That seems to be the case if my theory is true. Because like I have said, if you pause at 0:15 in the trailer two teams of 4 are completely suited up ready to go into the elimination round.
When they're all standing there around 0:15 only Danny and Melinda are in full uniform, Wes and Lacey are in pants. So I think the losing team, which could be the Fresh Meat, have to choose on the spot and the other two competitors will be chosen by the group in a deliberation, which could have been Danny and Melinda.

It has already been determined that Wes faces Eric in the first elimination round and Eric is wearing pants, so I don't think it matters. They're all wearing their jerseys. So is the Fresh Meat team.
I didn't know i thought they would just support their teammates.
The actual voting starts then. You can see every group is arranged and standing behind their own fire. So every group has a vote to bring out.
It might be, but I am not sure about: the group standing in the middle between de biggest 2 pillars are the winning team of the day and they choose directly which pair goes in. The other pair is chosen by the other teams.

It could be but I still find it weird why Wes would take jeans to an elimination round?

Danny is wearing black, so he can't go into an elimination like that. And I think they're track pants, Eric is wearing them too. They can always take their pants off right before the elimination. I still can't believe someone could make out all the teams by that shot, I can only see the 1st 3 and Eric.

Actually if you look closely Cara Maria and Brandon are wearing white to but also have a jacket (maybe it's cold out there)
Same for Lacey and Melinda, you clearly see they have their uniforms on to. Danny probably too but he has a jacket on (due to the cold)
It might be that the losing team, of the challenge day, chooses who they want to go against in elimination. And than at night the 2 teams choose at which pair they want to go against or they choose by them self. It could also be that every team their chooses which pair is voted in.

They probably choose before they get there since in the past they kind of give some one an advantage in the elimination by knowing who's going in.
I have a question, does anybody know when they get paid? Right after they win or when the season airs or sometime else? Cuz I saw Frank tweeting about being broke a couple days ago, so if they've already been paid SD probably wouldn't have won based on that. Sorry if this is like common knowledge, I'm just wondering.
They get paid half once they get back, and the other half once the season has finished airing on television.

If a team is chosen by the pair going into elimination on the spot at the elimination arena, why isn't every team in their competitive gear? It would not be beneficial to tell a team they are going into an elimination. It would be better for the mindset of the last place team to keep their opponent to themselves until the very last second.
If you guys read back, I've already told you how the teams are chosen for elimination. I'm not sure why it's still being discussed. People can wear gear in support of their teammates. It's been done before.

I was the one who did it and its really not hard. Just look at one person you can tell who it is and its just process of elimination from there.
Even though it has sorta been confirmed I feel like Team Cutthroat went home before Team Austin just based on Trailer and The way Devyn seems bitter towards Wes makes me feel like Wes took out Eric and Frank took out Wes.

Just because Frank got in Wes's face doesn't mean they went into an elimination round together.

She's not bitter at all, have you looked at twitter??? A bunch of them were tweeting a meet up, the whole you're old stuff was a joke because he was saying the rookies suck or something. That argument with Wes/Frank was probably on the 1st night and maybe Frank's team had something to do with sending Austin in elimination.
Well it should be interesting to see if the challenges stick around for a while who becomes the new regulars. I think this challenge is already setting up 8 or so people.

I don't really understand what you mean. You say that the other team going to the elimination is chosen during the elimination? why is only Austin and Fresh meat in their uniforms then? Or did I miss something?

No, that's not what I said at all.
I know it is obvious that San Diego wins, but I think I would prefer it if Brooklyn won. But on Exes I knew that Johnny and Camila were going to win but I wanted CT/Diem to win....so we all know how this seasons going to turn out lol.
But I think San Diego winning is a good thing, it gives us 4 new winners and hopefully it sets us up for some of these new athletic cats to go up against the old guys next season. (Cause lets face it all 4 of the SD people look to be decent athletes)

How did you know Johnny and Camila were going to win?
It's same to assume that Team Brooklyn went into an elimination between the 2-4 rounds. We see in the trailer that Sarah and Chet are suited up and ready to go, and in the background I can make out I believe to be Preston, who's not suited up, and we know Preston was eliminated in the fifth elimination.
I think it was pretty clear when molds first put up the Exes cast that Johnny and Camilla were definite winners. They were a strong team, excel in social game and they had the best chance because of their chemistry. They also had that... "winners edit".
San Diego on the other hand I didn't know would have some sort of control until the elimination list was growing.
Even if this season gets predictable (only to us spoiler viewers) it's still refreshing either way.
edit: Plus we don't even know the order of elimination which is great.

Am I deluding myself in thinking/hoping that with this challenge, the casting department has turned over a new leaf and are done inviting the regulars and ready for a new set of challengers? I probably am but ****it I can dream, right? Haha.

Well idk about all that. Looking at the cast list from last season I thought that CT/Diem were going to be hard to beat, and I also though Abram/Cara Maria, and Mark/Robin were going to be tough contendors....I thought Johnny and Camila were just an ok team looking at them, but when they got back Johnny's cocky attitude and Camila's better than thou attitude on twitter was pretty obvious that they won.
Similar with this season...Frank and Zach seem to be pretty cocky on twitter, of course that is just their personalities, but I think they wouldn't talk as much had they lost. Whereas Ashley and Sam are more humble so they don't give things away as easily. Team Brooklyn all seem pretty down-to-earth and humble as well....so if they won, they probably wouldn't give much away based on their attitude on twitter either.
how did you know johnny and camilla were going to win?
Johnny was giving a way a ton of hints on Twitter during that time.

I guess with me I look too deep into it. I know all three of those teams were strong but nothing I want to happen comes out as the results so from the get go I was just like... meh, Johnny's going to win, I have this instinct. And lo and behold, he did. I didn't need his tweets/molds as proof, I just had no faith in the other teams. Haha.
But yes, if Zach and Frank's tweets weren't so obnoxious we probably wouldn't have speculated that they could possibly be the winners.

Seems to be a pretty good indication of what happened this time around. This makes me think that Brooklyn had to have done very well either in eliminations or day challenges since their season was the most old school there aside from Austin and half of Vegas.

Or perhaps "they" thought Brooklyn was the weakest team there and kept them around for an easy win.
I do know that, going in, the teams that were going to be targeted were Vegas and Austin. Once the FM team got there, the target shifted.

So it seems the rookies were the Mob now probably led by San Diego. Last eliminations St Thomas And Cancun were eliminated one by one, because of Brooklyn or Las Vegas.
