I know the history of Kenny and Evan, but if they can still be associated with MTV by doing after shows, hosting reunions, etc... then I don't see the difference of them actually being on the show. If they really were liabilities, MTV would distance themselves from them. Yet, Kenny has done the after shows and stuff like that after the incident.
There is difference between hosting after shows, Special and reunion that only take a day to film. Than living in a house with 26-30 other castmemebers for 6 weeks. They are consider production liabilities after the sue. I wouldn't be surprised if Adam Royers get unbanned sooner than later. While it will be shocking to see Kenny/Evan do , which realistically speaking is never happening again.
Sad for the viewers that enjoy old schooler, good for them they have other stuff going for them instead of being on the same shows for 10-15 years without a family or a stable job.
I agree about the stable job, but not everyone wants to start a family. There's nothing sad about valuing your freedom. Some individuals choose to NOT be enslaved by society. ;)
I agree about the stable job, but not everyone wants to start a family. There's nothing sad about valuing your freedom. I'm not so sure if casting old-schoolers is going to be the answer. I mean some of these people have families now and they're not going to be hooking up or causing drama because of that. And even the ones who don't have a family just might not have the time for petty drama and just focus on the competition. Where this show has been lacking for years i might add.
I am so confused, why are Kenny and Evan considered production liabilities? I know that there was some hoopla a while back about never having them back again, but I never found out why. I know that there was also some grumblings about them during The Ruins too (that they stole food). Not that I care whether or not they do come back, because they're two of my least favorite challenge members. Knowing that they won challenges was reason enough for me to quit certain seasons early.

The reason they are liabilities is because they got BMP sued by Tonya, I believe they settled outside of court though, but BMP is not going to risk getting sued again, that is why they are production liabilities.

Tonya accusation was: "took another male participant's toothbrush (Wes) and rubbed the toothbrush around [Cooley]'s genitals, including rubbing her ***** and inserting the toothbrush into plaintiff's ******" MTV/iacom never denied any of Tonya accusations towards Kenny/Evan they never stated false, instead they blame her for it which make me believed those accusations were true. Viacom/MTV stated the following: "[Cooley] failed to avoid the injuries of which she complains. [She] was frequently intoxicated, rowdy, combative, flirtatious and on multiple occasions intentionally exposed her bare breasts and genitalia to other contestants." So they don't deny that a sexual assault happened; rather, she had it coming." That's why they are liabilities.
Thanks for the info guys, I had totally forgotten about the Tonya lawsuit.
How would putting Kenny and Evan on a Challenge make BMP at risk to get sued again? Because they are anticipating another assault incident happening or do they think Tonya will sue them again?
How would putting Kenny and Evan on a Challenge make BMP at risk to get sued again? Plus, the whole settlement and sue cost the insurance company a good amount of $$$. That's why they are liabilities they made them lose money, MTV/BMP are way more strict after the sue that's why vinny got removed from battle of the exes and probably is not being invited back ever again for removing Mandi's shirt in a club.
Expect tonight's episode to have an awful rating considering 9 PM is game 1 of the NBA finals. They MAY get somewhat lucky with halftime timing but I doubt it
I can only imagine how bad the ratings are going to be for tonight, NBA Finals is coming for them ratings. The heat , the spurs, the rematch , they all coming for the ratings
Lol I hate sports. They always ruin everything (in this case, Challenge ratings). Down with sports!
I can only imagine how bad the ratings are going to be for tonight, NBA Finals is coming for them ratings. The heat , the spurs, the rematch , they all coming for the ratings
GO HEAT NATION! Bout to get turnt tonight! Bars here I come LOL :)
NHL stanley cup finals as well; although the games don't end as late
Was the challenge trending tonight? I didn't check till after it was over and usually it still does trend for a bit but I couldn't find it :/
Was the challenge trending tonight? I didn't check till after it was over and usually it still does trend for a bit but I couldn't find it :/
Zach and CT / Cara Maria were trending world wide:
Sorry guys but I think the ratings will take a big hit after last night's NBA finals game 1. LeBron and his menopausal cramps will be a headline for a while and had a lot of attention last night. I'm thinking that the challenge might dip back under a million.

not bad for going head up with NBA Finals Edit: Just realized it was 18-49 still not bad though
Here is a comparison with every show that air a new episode on MTV this week:
Even I had to put the challenge off for the finals. Big NBA fan here. Some bad luck with the important sports games being on Thursday nights.
I see advertisements for Faking It EVERYWHERE, even on other channels, and their ratings still suck... Why does MTV work so hard to promote shows that are sucking WITH PROMOTION but failing to give decent promotion to a show that's beating them.

So here are the overall season ratings for The Ruins to now. I will do an update once Free Agents is over but for now I just included the 9 episodes added. The Ruins: 1,615,200 Fresh Meat II: 976,000 Cutthroat: 1,318,900 Rivals: 1,818,000 Battle of the Exes: 1,937,000 Battle of the Seasons: 1,090,000 Rivals II: 1,470,000 Free Agents: (so far with just 9 episodes) 1,025,000 So in order from highest rated to lowest (I won't include Free Agents yet) is 1. Battle of the Exes 2. Rivals 3. The Ruins 4. Rivals II 5. Cutthroat 6. Battle of the Seasons 7. Fresh Meat II My prediction is Free Agents will either beat BOTS or do worse but not by much in either cases. I couldn't find all the ratings for the Duel 2 but I think the ratings were actually up there with The Ruins.
Can someone refresh my memory as to why were the ratings for Fresh Meat 2 so terrible? I thought it was way better than the first one, with the whole Wes/Eveyn ms Kenny storyline
I had no idea Fresh Meat II did so bad.
I had no idea Fresh Meat II did so bad.
I'm not Surprised. That challenge was Boring and Mediocre. It deserved the bad ratings it got.
