There aren't many from the golden era that I didn't like (there were some like Julie who I didn't like on The Inferno but she really wasn't that bad) but 2 of them would be David (Seattle) & Montana (Boston)
David was awful on every season he did. Very entitled despite not really doing much of shit to actually HELP the teams he was on & also selfish. He knew Derrick would've kicked his *** in the Gauntlet & he knew that he was the one who should've been in. Also just couldn't believe Coral would pick him to go in the Inferno over Mike/CT ('nuff said) & Syrus (who performed very well up til that point).
Montana was awful herself:
Challenge 98 - Sat out of the mission but chastised Beth for not wanting to do it & was very whiny throughout the season imo
Gauntlet - Decided that the team sent her in because they didn't know her/like her, because it just couldn't possibly be her "stellar" performance.
Gauntlet 2 - Her entire storyline was Beth. Every confessional she did except for the one in episode 1 was about Beth. She reignited the entire feud between them in the first place with her being unecessarily childish (even said herself she only sat out just because she didn't want Beth to have it). She kept going on & on about how Beth said how good of a runner she was & got shown up when Beth actually did do well in that mission.
You know that's why I thought that Derrick deserved to lose that last Gauntlet. He(and the rest of the team) *****ed and cried and Timmy ended up going in. What they should've done is let Derrick pick who he wanted to go against and he would've chosen David and Derrick would've won that Gauntlet and been at the end. How the vets handled that last Gauntlet was beyond stupd IMO.

I wholeheartedly agree. David was useless (didn't he lose to Katie)? and Montana was a waste of space. I was always happy to see them go.
rachel is a robot. she is unshakeably stoic in every and any situation-i dont think i've seen her freak out.....like ever. i used to find it icy and vaguely sociopathic beacuse its almost like she's hopped up on a good dose of ketamine at all times, but you cant deny the the refreshingly levelheaded disposition, considering the whole gamut of emotions that are alrady hyperbolically displayed by practically every other single overdramatic female character in every episode. between laurel, tori, camila, ev, jenn, Frank, etc. these lil ladies more than meet(and exceed) the quota of emotional outburts needed per season.

I dislike the fact that the challenge will now be introducing new people from another show which some/many people don't even know about. I know times have changed and the Challenges need some fresh new blood, but plucking people from another show isn't the way to do it. I wasn't a fan of Fresh Meat or the Spring Break Challenge, but bringing new competitors from those shows are somewhat understandable. I feel to be on the Challenge you had to do either Real World or Road Rules, but with Road Rules being gone for so many years of course they had to find another way to bring in more cast members, but like I said brining in "outsiders" from different TV show isn't the way. I just hope this is a one time thing because I don't want these AYTO people taking the spots of others who truly belong. I hear some say this is a good thing since a lot of the old school vets are getting older, the cancellation of Road Rules, and BMP not wanting to do another Fresh Meat. Those are all fair points, but with the recent changes in Real World they have a bigger player pool to pick from since it's no longer seven or eight "strangers."
There I dropped my two cents and for those crazy Vevmo members who get so easily riled up when they hear something they don't like just chill. You may not like what I said, but that's life not everyone can agree with one another on a certain subject.

I agree with everything you just said. I'll probably never get used to outsiders being on this show. No hatred or anything, I like AYTO as its own show, but that's it really. It's just a big change for a fan like myself. While I want more fresh faces, there are other approaches to do so, and I also hope this is just a one time thing.

I'm with all of you. I wish this AYTO thing had never happened.
It still doesn't really bother me except for maybe a worthy team getting passed up, but it does annoy .e when irrelevant or boring castmember complain about not being cast when they've been cast for previous shows in RW/Challenge and still fail to make any sort of impact.

I say the best rivalry was Preston vs Ryan Leslie.
Now see Ryan and Preston THAT was a good rivalry. It was acutally entertaining and interesting to watch and that lasted only one damn season. Kenny/Wes last for multiple seasons and NOTHING came of it. Pretty damn sad if you ask me.
Preston & Ryan would have been out first if they were on rivals lol.
They would have definitely been saved to the end. Just like Knight and Preston & Jasmine & Jonna in Rivals 1 & 2. If I remembered, I read somewhere that Ryan L. was contacted for Rivals and as soon as he heard Preston was his partner, he backed out.

What's with the Kenny hate lol? I think he's entertaining but as a challenger, he's good but not the best. But I'll be devil's advocate right now. I think the problem with Kenny is that he was really never battle tested like Evan or Bananas. The only reason why he does well in finals is because he was cruising there without doing anything so he didn't have to waste any energy. His elimination rounds with the exception of Duel (I Can) was with a partner that was better/comparable than/to him (Tina, Laurel & Wes).
